BJD Research Begins!

    1. Hello! Thank you admins for letting me join!
      I'm Choco, a 21 year old from the middle of the US. I've been into BJD vaguely for the past few years. I always found them interesting, and always wanted to make a OOAK doll for myself, but decided they were to hard and a waste of my money ultimately. But that was when I was 17, and had 50 dollars to my name at any given time. Now I'm older, I'm making money and half of it is already going to a figurine collection so why not get into their cooler, more customizable older cousin?

      I'll mainly be lurking here for a bit just soaking in info before I order and start on my own BJD.
      I'm a huge fan of the anime type dolls, and some day I'd love to be able to mod the dollfie heads and just go wild making an army of anime kids.

    2. Welcome Choco! I fell in love with the idea of making one of my characters from a game. I still have a bjd of him 10 years later but have moved on in my collection. I have two crossover anime light bjds, Sakura Amamiya and Kizuna AI. Take it slow, ingest all that is out there to stir up your creative spirit. Dollie head modding is popular, mouths, eyes, and ears. It's not impossible, just takes patience and practice. You can do it! Glad you're here.
