best balance ever

Not as AMAZING as most of the ones here but this is one of my favourite poses.

The guy is my Naoki, and posing him was easy, 2, 3 max because there was wind and it was uneven ground. He's semi sueded.

Jaida on the other hand is a frickin' ten! She's Sharpestlife19's and I swear that girl hates standing. She also seems to hate Naoki and knocks him over every chance she gets. I'm surprised he didn't get an arm wap for holding her hand! Jaida fell down though, and we ended up stringing her up with dental floss to get the second shot. That's how hard it was.

 

Not nearly as impressive as some of the poses I've seen in here, but these one took forever for me to perfect. Personally, I'd call the first one an eight or a nine, and the second one about a seven - it was very difficult to get Damaran to hold this one for long. Every time I reached for my camera to snap a few photos of him fully bowing, he would topple over the moment I turned it on.

This may not look hard, but he is not wired or sueded. The door he has a hand on is hinged and not open all the way. And he is standing on a computer chair that is not flat and swivels if you look at it.



It wasn't too hard, but his arms kept wanting to collapse

These go out to all the folk who say the DIM Love body can't do squat for squat.

#1) Rating: 3
This doesn't look too difficult, as the Love body has the notoriously arched back, but he's arched backwards quite a bit.
I call it the 'Powder pose'.


#2) Rating 4
This wasn't too bad, as the boys were supporting each other, but the DIM Love's lack of double joints made it difficult to look natural.



#3) Rating 2
This impressed me as this doll is not only unsueded, but very, very loosely strung, yet he stood on the first try! I'd say that was amazing.


And My favorite:

Seriously. I got a DIM Love body to stand on one foot. Not just that, but he's leaning forward and to one side while on one foot.

He held this one on his own! I was waiting for him to buckle and it never happened! Note: This is the same unsueded, loosely strung doll as above!

not too difficult a one, once I discovered his center of gravity. Had only been dressing him up and not posing him. He held that pose until I moved him.

33 Ailill wanted to be a Ballerina, but his ankles aren't very flexible...

And I though this was pretty cool. Some dolls can stand on one foot, but all of mine can do it

She poses very easy it's all in the feet and ankles, she is not sueded or anything.

 

This was hard, considering the big guy got a bad ankle, but he managed just fine. Stood there for good 5 minutes before I was too nervous to let them stand any longer. They had already taken one tumble down together.

Mmkay, not that amazing. Both of these were ridiculously easy.

 

Old msd body that does not have any locking joints or kips and no sueding or wiring in her arms actually holding up a YO SD. This one took a lot of work and I couldn't believe it when they held it.

 

These were some shots I did during making some clothes and after finishing them.

The rating of this one is about a 2. It's very cute I think ^^


This one's a 1 because she's leaning against the sofa. She's waiting for her pants there. Please ignore all the fabric behind her ^^;


This one's about a 5. Her torso's kind of heavy that's why this was a little more difficult. And because it's on the bed ^^


All in all it's easy to pose her. Her strings on the legs are a little loose already but she can still do these ones. And when she stands, she stands! She never fell after she got into pose... ^^ I wanted to try some of the hard ones too but some just don't suit her character or would need restringing first I think (or both)^^;

Here's Vincent, my Latidoll LE Aida. I was just faffing about and somehow he ended up in this pose. Held it for a few minutes too. He's been hot glue sueded in all major joints to fix the horrible poseability problem with the older Lati bodies.

 

so not as impressive as sister-of-charity's vincent, but i've got pictures from moments like that...here's two that merit showing, in my opinion, of my 06 juri on a type 1 delf body. she's a bit loosely strung (read: holy cow floppy! most of the time), so posing her in heels with one leg bent and not leaning on anything was quite an amazing feat - especially since she held the pose for quite a while to boot!

probably not obvious to anyone except me, but her left foot was slanted while in this pose so that her foot wasn't flat on the floor. plus her right foot only had the toes touching the ground.

And my El, Tsung Li. He's standing on one foot with the other knee bent, on uneven ground. I wasn't holding him, nor was he leaning against any of the background plants. (He is both wired and sueded, though. ^_^)

 

Neither of them are leaning on anything. ^_^ In fact, I could have walked off for a drink of water, and come back to them like that. I love Souldolls!

rofl. Goss stands on his head too! I think, if you're bored enough, it's probably possible to put almost any dolls legs and arms out in a way that balances them so that they can do a headstand... lol.

This was before he was sueded and wired, too. : D

 

I actually have something to post here!! We were at my friends birthday party and were seeing all the fun ways we could pose our dolls and we got this great shot. I don't know all the molds in the picture but the SD that's standing is my shine on a B&G old boy body that is not sueded or wired.

 

I still have no Idea how they stayed like that. Midori had the old MSD body and is uncooperative. I'm still amazed she could hold Hideki up so naturally.

 

Normally I'm complaing about Judas posing abilities (especially his arms are SO annoying) but...he can If he want to XD

I've never really played with a Puki before, so when my friend brought her little guy over I had some fun with him outside.

 

So I took Ken to the park today, and got these 2 sets of shots that really surprised me when I actually got him balanced right so that he stayed for pictures instead of falling flat! Ken is an Angel Region Little Fair Ren (originally female).

First, balancing on a tree limb. This one took some careful moving, as while he IS leaning on the upper branch with his arms, only one foot is supporting him on the lower one, and every time the other foot slipped, down he tried to go while I was putting him there:

So once upon a time, Ayumi-chan let me borrow Ailin *DZ Yuu tan - the silver fox edition thinggie ma bob* for a week to assist me in measurements for something I'm doing...and I was holding him and saw a thread about posing dolls...and saw them doing headstands...(i think it was this thread ><)

First try, he kicked me and I gave up for that night

BUT THEN!!!!!!!!!! *and shes given me permission to do this to him XP and post the pics!*






Ignore my messy floor >< anyway, hes unsueded so I'm really happy hewas able to hold it for so long!!! the only reason he stopped holding it was because i picked him up XP but it he held it for a good 10 minutes

I dunno how I got her this way but I'm surprised she stayed that way for a little while.
She's not sueded or wired and her left leg is weak as hell.

A couple of my favourites...

Shinydoll girl holding a Yo whilst wearing too small slippers...The Yo was tied on, so not too difficult...The hardest part would be the fact that the Yo kept wanting to fall backwards, and pushed the Shinydoll's arms away. Luckily she's got tight stringing. Maybe a 5 difficulty.


What's amazing about this one? Shinydolls only have a single elbow joint, but can still easily touch their face and hold the pose.


There was no joint popping to get this pose either.

Never have I gotten Kraven to do anything like this before. I put a pink wig on him (his fav color) and suddenly he can pose XD My mom said that wig gave him powers lol.

I don't know how amazing or difficult this pose is, but I thought I'd share. My friend posed my doll and snapped this shot while I was in the shower. Sexual harrasement I say!

 

These are great!! It's really neat to see how balanced some of these dolls are. Wow!!!

And... well, I had to hot glue suede him to do this and balance him, but once I figured it out it wasn't too difficult. Maybe a 5/10 the first time?

 

So far, my girl ShadowHawke has had NO work done on her. I do want to have her either sueded or wired, but I have gotten her into some interesting poses that she has held without assistance or leaning on anything in her surroundings.



this is her stepping on the spider...there is no support and nothing to lean on. I have never really had problems with the BOBOBIE dolls posing, both of mine pose like a dream.

The end result of my first grueling session of doll restringing. The fingers on my left hand are swollen and I cut my thumb with the hook from the stringing tool but all worth it since Yaris now can not only stand but amaze me xD

 

I've had my DZ boy for a year and a half now, and I never knew he could hold these poses. No sueding, no wiring, no fairy godmother...he's even loosely strung. Nothing but supreme balance and a crappy camera. He held this pose for up to five minutes, too, which is amazing considering that I'm less than a foot away, coughing a lung up and shaking the light fixtures with the force of my dying internal organs.

 

My boy Cecil enjoys pretending to be the guy on the commercials (Captain Morgan?) But he can never remember how the arms are supposed to go. >:

I was trying to see just what I could get Newt, my elfdoll Lydia, to do last night. I was pretty happy to get her to stand in a tight-rope kind of way (one foot right behind the other), but was Amazed when I got her to do a hand-stand! (she's very stubborn. Not sure if it's just her stringing, or if all elfdolls are that way... but getting her to simply stand is a pain in the butt sometimes. )

Probably not impressive at all compared to these others, but I'm surprised by how easily his little bod wants to dance around and do cute things.

 

So I know this thread is a little old, but I saw all these great poses and thought my doll couldn't do all that stuff, and I wanted to try her out...
To my surprise, she is really good at posing!

Here's my girl, she's an AOD Roa 43cm

This pose was a challenge at first, she she had trouble finding her balance. Difficulty:5




This one was a lot more difficult. I tried to tell her it would be a lot easier if she took off her big heavy boots but there's no reasoning with her. The heavy boots weighed her feet down a lot. Difficulty: 9

 

Because the wig it looks that the head got squished on the floor~

 

Q, the tiny, has the most amazing posing skills I've ever seen. Rani isn't doing much more than standing there, but he's keeping his balance well. Q is holding on entirely by himself. ^__^ Difficulty? Maybe a 2.
