best balance ever

It's really not as hard to do as it seems. A lot of my boys can.

Minis are a lot easier to get to stand one footed than the larger dolls though... My little Ren amazes me at how well he does it sometimes.



And Miz likes standing in any position that'll show off his legs. XD

 

Alright, I found the one leg thing with Lewis :' D But unfortunately I only took a closeup of the feet? ..but here it is anyways.

I have not been able to get that much lift again XD Maybe if he was wired/sueded I could, but~

BONUS (just because):


...yeah, that's the most interesting one I ever got with Lewis. XD!? All the other standing poses are normal for me, one foot has been done, but this just cracked me up.

I used to be able to do way weird poses with my Little Fair, but her stringing has gotten kinda loose lately.

 

MSDs are definitely easier to get to stand on one foot, as they have less weight than needs to be balanced. But I think it's quite possible to ge most any doll to do it. ^__^ I found that Kid Dollmores are very easy to get them to balance. And he was a lot more stable when on one foot than my other boys were. XD

I can get my two long-legged SD13s in this pose too. =D But Jinsei, who has the old Volks body (and therefore no locking joints) cannot do this at alllll. XD;;

Ease of poses: 1 or so. This body is so easy to pose. It doesn't stand very well, but that may just be because I have it loosly strung.

I meant to post in this thread earlier, but the past two weeks have been hell on earth. UoU

Ease of Pose: I would say 9 or so to start with -- it was hard getting her to do it the first two times -- and then maybe a 3 after that, because once I got the hang of it it was really easy to get her to do it. (Heck, she could do it more easily than she could stand on both feet sometimes...)





I did get my SoulDoll Paris to do it too at one point, but he fell over before I could get at the camera and then stubbornly refused to do it again.

Ok I have one. I'm not sure how amazing it is. This was probably harder for my doll then other dolls because her left arm refuses to stay streight. And her head kept wanting to fall down. I say overall the difficulty of this pose was 5. Oh and this is a Blue Fairy Emilie.


This one wasn't too hard but I love it because she looks so natural. I say it was like a 2 or 3


I was trying really hard on this one and it looks like it might be easy but it wasn't keeping her in balance was harder then I thought... Again I'd say 5


This one was not to hard, she kept wanting to slide off the edge of the sofa though...i say 2

Difficulty: 6 (He'd strung really tightly, and his legs are wonky)

Difficulty: 3 (A little hard to figure out, but once I got her like that, she sat perfectly. And though she's touching the window, she's leaning more on the side of her hand.)

 

I was pretty proud of this one. I STILL have no idea HOW I got her to do this....

 

Doll Type: ElfDoll Sooah
Difficulty: 2 (She's leaning against the wall for balance, but everything else is her. This was taken the first day I had her. We tried to get her to hold a Tony up first, but he was too heavy.)


Difficulty: 4 (Getting her to balance one foot in front of another on a curved surface with her trick right knee, expecting a train along at any moment, drove me $#$%# crazy. Took five minutes to get her to stand.)

 

At least a 5..she's standing in Sand and the wind was blowin!

 

I know it doesn&#8217;t look like much...but Darith never ever under any circumstances, will stand by herself...but she decided to make my day and stand!

I know we've seen piggy back rides before but i'm posting this one because the amazing bit is that they held this pose for over 7 hours.. then we seperated them XD

This is actually a 7, harder than the rest! His hand is barely resting on the bedframe. He's standing on a bed! That's soft and so very hard to balance on! He kept crumpling down throughout the photoshoot. O_O That he was able to stand there at all was mostly due to my persistance and nothing really to do with his poseability. ^_^;

 

These were done by me and Spiffymuffins at a recent meet-up. The dolls belong to Spiffymuffins (the M) and Sniffles (the Juri/DD2 hybrid)


This wasn't all that difficult, I'd give it a 3.


This wasn't too bad when it comes to the Juri she was doing well (she is completely off the ground, clenching to his thigh.), The M was having problems standing so I would give this a 7.

 

Ill give this a 4... it wasnt TOO hard for him to balance crouched, and he isnt even sueded or anything!! Ahh man I had pillows everywhere just incase XD;

(Note: Echo is sueded with hot glue but his hips are still squirrelly. Athan's hips are glue-sueded, too, but it only really helps him sit. The headstand was a huuuuge challenge, especially on soft carpet. The angle his head was at would have broken his neck IRL... XD )

I have a AR ren girl ans shes pretty amazing (besides her hip joints need sueding T_T)
I didn't get her to stand on one arm... her arms are strung perfectly for touching her own face..so to louse for that.

Oke i know this doesn't look like much..but she had the heavyest piece of fabric ever on her...AND SHE WAS STANDING! while she still needs a sueding job on her hip joints


i would say a 9... the first time she just wouldn't..then i came back
grabbed her and putted her on the ground (with the fabric already around her and not able to see her legs) and she just...
stayed like that XD

Al did some AMAZING things the night I sueded him 8D

 

Ooo the boy and me like a challenge...and so, we started out simple, went for a handstand to see if he was at all capable of any kind of acrobatics, and no, hand stands when you have heart hands are just not going to happen, HOWEVER...headstands are easy peasy, about a 3 :


Then we moved on to seeing how good our balance was, this is about a 4 :


and THEN...cos we were feeling a bit confident and flashy...we went all out...this is a good 7, it basically involves him dislocating his own kneecap and partially knocking out his ankle whilst balancing on one foot and holding the elbow joint solid all at once! Oh yeah, and also this one needed an AC/DC coaster for foot rest...natch :

ElfDoll are heavy and doing anything not within their center of balance is hard. So having both feet out of line, and in these Luts shoes which have RUBBER heels that can shift, and bending over, increases the risks considerbly. Took 10 minutes to get this pose. She held it for another 10 before going over.


Difficulty: 2
This pose wasn't so hard to get, as to arrange everything neatly so it really looking like she could play it from there.

 

Please.. do NOT ask what the heck she is doing.. but it was pretty funny to make her stand like this xD

the hardest one to get her to pose was the last one but I have tried to make that pose 3-4 times before so it is getting easier.. But the first time.. um.. 4-5.. ^^'

The only thing I can say is that I LOVE to pose her body, it can almost stand in any way you want

Well, here's mine! We went to the park towards fall of 2006. And my dad (being an artist and photographer on the side) thought it would be an awesome photo if we perched Koneko way up on those monkeybars. o.o;; After about 5 or 6 tries, my heart racing, and catching her just barely each time (MAN I got lucky!!!), we managed to get this shot. Please keep in mind, she's not sueded or wired.



I'd say it was a 7 at LEAST for me in difficulty. Her arms are *not* holding her up there, as she continued to fall forward instead of back. o.o;; So it was all just luck and a balancing act. lol.

This next one, is from the same photoshoot. The hard part was getting her to stand on those shavings. >.< .. After 2 or 3 times, and positioning of the arms, I got her exactly the way I wanted. ^_^

Just the standard standing on one foot pose. Took a minute or two of wiggling him back and forth to find that spot of balance. Hunter is a Volks sunlight F16. Difficulty is I guess about a 3. Not that hard to hold the pose itself but took patience to get him to stay up.

Difficulty: Well concidering he's a laze-about Dollshe... I thought this was pretty amazing! But he has been sueded so that makes it a little bit easier.
