1/3 doll owner here who stumbled into a tiny I liked... I don't usually venture into this part of DoA forums but I managed to get Omi-Kopto from the recent preorder. So here is Swallowtail. (She also has a box opening thread here.)

I'm calling her Amadis.
I like her so much! From her great pointy ears to her tiny dainty feet The size and proportions are just perfect, and she's got an impressive range of motion and poseability. And the serious face
I think I'll make a project journal. I have so many ideas for her styling, backstory and accessories - just, so much inspiration!

 

Thel is up for pre-order again, along with a new same size friend Lilly of the Valley! Can anyone tell me what wig and clothes size fit? I'm seriously tempted to get one.

 

This weekend I took Amadis - my Thel - to Dollscar, a BJD festival/fair in Moscow. I've redone her faceup in May, and sewed her a nice gown, so it was high time for an outing. While I was shopping and looking at the many stands and dioramas, Amadis got to stay with other doll guests :

There was a Bardo Research fan stand with another Thel, Anitia, Sadhana (?) and other dolls. It was a delight to see them "live", I got a different impression from them compared to their pictures.

Now I am waiting for Peme (old version) just bought from the secondary market, she'll be the first art doll in my small collection.

 

She's arrived! Finally!
I didn't even expect how small and delicate she is, but in the meantime she is stable and poses very well! She's just arrived so is searching for herself and her style. But surely she's a young modern girl...
