I'm curios to know which colour/ Sculpt youvre ordered and what plans you have to do with it (style).
I'm stalking momoni(ta) on instagram ... There a lot cuties out there

 

I ordered a steel skin (grey) Momonita with the ‚white star‘ faceup by Lola (the one the white skin Momonita had in the promo photos of the fantasy skin pre-order).

I would love getting a wig made by Frappzilla for her, but I have no idea how I want to style her yet... I think it will be a light pink wig with tints of orange though. But no idea about her clothes. I also still need a name, I would love a Spanish one. I‘m open for ideas haha! ❤️

 

@Felka Sadly I didn't order anything from this preorder ^^; I was planning on doing it but at the same time I had an opportunity to get my little grail so I went with it. I also needed to sell my momonita from the very first preorder in able to get the grail ;_;

Someday, I'll get one back. Kind of regret that decision now, but I thought that it would be easiest to get back. Other dolls I have are harder to get but Lola makes, or seems like it now, regular order periods on her dolls.

I know Melo and Cotton are coming up next, so I'm waiting for the next momonita/momoni preorder. Momoni and Kitty M. might come after Cotton and Melo I think

While I'm regretting my decision on selling ny momonita, I still enjoy seeing other momonitas! I really like what people have done and are doing to them ^^

Not sure if that worked...but I have a Fresh and Toffee skinned Reira and I have both a Cocoa and Toffee Momonita as well.

I hope to add Somni Elf to my collection as well as a big MSD Momoni...

Your girls are too precious! One day I will have a mini-reira... Okay, one day I will have ALL the wonderful pitusas! Somni is wonderful, I hope I can afford her whenever she's offered in a natural skin tone....

 

I didn't order either but now I'm regretting not getting Somni...

 

I finished paying off my layaway for Somni so now I’m looking for clothes.

Can Momonita wear Pullip or Blythe sized clothes?

 

I also preordered the steel skin momonita! I was wondering if anyone else did as well. I doubted a bit over Somni or Momonita, but decided on Momonita. I'm not sure how I'm going to style her. I was thinking either pink, or maybe more turqoise.

 

I heard most Blythe clothes fit Momonita Fawne. ❤️ Lola herself shared a photo of Momonita wearing a Dress made for Blythe dolls on Instagram, here‘s the link:

She also shared a photo of Momonita wearing Azone Pure Neemo clothes, these should fit well too (S and M size). I really love Azone clothing (so cute and amazing quality!) so you might want to look into that too. No idea about Pullip really, but since they’re similar to Azone I wouldn’t see a problem with that.

ATBryant So cool that you’re getting a steel Momonita as well! I ordered a ‚mochaberry‘ blend (lilacs and whites) Frappzilla wig for my girl, I can’t wait until I can put it on her. ❤️ Pink or cyan/turquoise both sound great! I could imagine both colors with a matching face-up so well! Pink would make her look warmer though (and I LOVE pink lips on dolls!) so I think I would go with that!

 

Momonita wears barbie clothes pretty well, although she has to wear stretchy pants (like the ones that came on the Made to Move dolls) or Ken pants. My girl is wearing some of the Ken Basics jeans right now and the quality is shockingly fantastic. I'm going to try and order some more clothing from the barbie Signature lines off ebay this summer.

 

So, I've managed to buy three Momonita's in a span of a few weeks...

I may be slightly obsessed...

I find the Blythe clothing fits best...

All the Azone clothing I have is XS so that's a no go...

I do have lots of the new Barbie clothing and most of it fits pretty well.

The pants and shorts tend not to go over their cute bums...

So I've also looked on Etsy and found a shop that makes 1/6 scale Barbie size clothing but it's sooooo much nicer and it stretches so it fits them perfectly...

My girls wear a mix of barbie clothes that are designed to either fit curvy or one size fits all and azone clothes. Some azone clothes do not fit the momonita body. I've bought 4 azone outfits that come with the dolls. The dress in my profile photo fits perfectly and a kimono i bought for my petal skin fits really well, but is a little tight when fastening the obi.

2 outfits that I bought that are not quite loose on the azones are too small. One is a peridot outfit that my unoa light is now wearing. It'll probably fit the somni body b/c it's more slender. Another is an outfit being worn by my little monica muse doll. the bodice and skirt were just too small to fit around the waist and chest on the momonita, but I think it will fit the somni body.

I asked lola if we would be able to select the body in future runs for the dolls. She says that it will not be possible b/c the casting company has set requirements and it would not be possible to mix and match the bodies individually.

Barbie clothing actually fits better than Blythe...

Most everything fits Momonita and even some fit the bigger 33 cm Reira as well...

The pants usually don't fit unless they have a stretchy waist...

Lola is opening a preorder for regular skin Mominita, Somni and MiniReia from the 1st to the 8th of JULY!!!!

As much as I want a MiniReira, I'm afraid that this isn't a good time for me to buy another doll. But I still hope to get one a LDoll in October.

 

I am so happy to finally be able to order a MiniReira, but I am having such a hard time choosing a skintone.
On the one hand, Toffee looks beautiful, on the other hand, maybe Sand?
And then I started thinking, maybe I should also get a Somni while the pre-order is up...and what about that Ebona tone!?

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one having a hard time deciding on a skin tone. They're all so pretty.

 

One of the problems I have run across is that photos of the different skintones vary so much. On Momoni's website they look very light, but in owner pics they often look darker.

 

I ended up going with sand. I know it's going to be a bit of a wait, but I'm already so excited to see her.

 

I think that's going to be such a pretty one!
I am probably choosing petal for Somnia and cocoa for Minireira.

 

I'm going to put on layaway a miniReira and I'm having problems with choosing which skintone too. Toffee is beautiful but I have a Reira in toffee. Then sand and fresh look good too, and cocoa...I'm having a hard time deciding ^^

I'm pondering KittyM. Didn't bond with my 'Nita but I'm longing for another in the same size. Had considered Reira & Somni but their faces didn't call out to me either...

 

@mlefever - Love the boots. Where did you find ones that fit her? My Somni is so jealous...

 

When I first saw Somni, I wasn't really a big fan because I wasn't looking for a fantasy doll. But now I see her, I'm more attracted to her face and hand sculpts than to Momonita's. I'm thinking about selling or trading my steel Momonita, but am worried I'll regret it later. Maybe I need to make some clothes for her and give her a face up.

@toveb I think so! As long as they're not too restrictive at the hips

 

Yes, I found that comparison photo Lola posted some years ago. It seems they are both triangular, but opposites: Momoko wider over the shoulders and narrower hips, Pitusa line narrow shoulders and wider hips. I think I will stick with looser dresses and tunics, maybe some stretchy tights or adjustable trousers.

 

I also found this super good tutorial for a simple pants pattern that fits wide hipped girls

 

@toveb I've had some luck with curvy barbie clothes fitting as pants and leggings. Etsy has some patterns available for curvy barbie.

 

does anyone know the best place to get 6mm eyes? I've tried looking around some of my usual places but momonita has just such small eyes

 

i'd love to know that too. my fav place used to be safrin doll eyes, but she doesn't seem to be making them anymore

Hi! I got the same problem. Trying to figure out what are the best options out there. So far Etsy's shops GlassEyesOnLine, Magic DIY, FLEURDELYSDOLL. I think I'm getting a pair from FLEURDELYSDOLL, they are really nice.

Is this the appropriate place for me to ask where everyone has been getting their wigs? I can't seem to find any wigs for Momonita that aren't fur or $60+

I mean, would it really be THAT bad to put her in a wig that's 5-6 rather than 4-5?

My doll arrived today! I'm so happy to have her but I hadn't quite realized exactly how small she was going to be. Doing her faceup and making or finding a wig for her is going to be somewhat challenging.

Anyone get in on the KittyM per-order? I had to get one in steel resin I can't get enough of these 'mature' 1/6 scale dolls!

 

My miniReira wears a leeke 4-5 wig
Wigs-ETC - LK4(4~5inch)

 

Fatiao on Etsy has some nice wigs. I have to use a silicon rubber band to keep it on and the result is a little fluffy, but that's what my girl wears. She has a leeke wig too, but the fibre is a little stiff at her scale. The Fatiao wigs are also cheap, around $15.

Also, I decided to try some Lammily clothes from Amazon, since the craftsmanship in the photos looked better than the average barbie attire... and more likely to fit in the pants department. Some verdicts on the experiment:

1. The craftsmanship IS beautiful. The coat that I got is fully lined, all seams are finished, it looks better than anything I could do (especially at that scale). The shirt is similarly gorgeous and I love the fabric. (I got the Scotland set.)
2. The mittens are clever and do fit, if you use tweezers to stretch them over the thumb. My doll has fingerless gloves now! I love it!
3. The shoes fit better than Ken shoes, and look as nice as the Ken Basics sneakers I've been using. They go on and off easily. They're still plastic, but whatever.
4. The pants need to be taken in at the waist. By like. a LOT. My Momonita doesn't need to undo the velcro to get them on, that's how insane we're talking. They look like she found jeans that are two to three sizes too large. Sadly, I'm not as impressed with the work on the jeans, either. I got some Ken Basics jeans off ebay last year that fit and look better.

Overall verdict: Worth the money I spent to not have to make the gorgeous shirt, coat, hat, mitts, or shoes.

Edit: Took some pictures at the park. The pants are also a little short (more like capris than trousers) and I'm holding the back in place with a paperclip until I can sew some snaps in place of the velcro and generally take things in a bit. I didn't realize that pants exist that make Momonita's butt look small, but these apparently do the trick...

Eeeeeep, made the final payment on my Steel Kitty M. I loved the body of my Cocoa 'Nita but just couldn't bond with her, no matter how good she looked in photos... I hope I don't have that issue with my new gal 'cause they pose like a dream and are SOOOOO much fun to sew for!

Anyone else expecting one?

As long as the skirts are full, they fit over her hips, and the Azone tops are a decent fit on her torso, as long as they aren't meant to be tight. (Her torso is a smidge too small for that.) They are shorter, and the waists higher, on Hazel than on Azones, but since the Mori look is very loose and all about layering, it's no trouble to add an extra skirt with a ruffle underneath and make it longer I forget where that extra skirt with the white ruffle is from, but I'm guessing it's either from another Azone outfit, or a one-off Pullip/Momoko item from Etsy.

 

Hello! (I'm new, let me know if I'm doing this wrong) So for some reason I was unable to see the measurements tab on the website. Just a few days ago I sent Atelier a message asking about Momonita measurements. Today she got back to me and now I can see them! Woo! Was this a problem for anyone else?
Measurements:
Height: 27cm
Shoulder wide:4.5cm
Bust: 11cm
Waist:8cm
Hips: 13.5cm
Foot Length: 3.3cm

Eyes:
6mm
Random handmade eyes included

Wigs:
Can use 4-5 inches wigs.

Clothes:
Fit 1/6 scale dolld and equivalent sizes.

Shoes:
Shoes for 3.5cm feet size.

I hope this helps many others as much as it helps me!
