I hope more people order Melos, I found a few girls on flickr but I want to see more. I really want one to reshell my little fox boy. Melo's face is so cute!

 

I placed an order for a white resin melo* with faceup yesterday. I was bummed that I missed the last preorder, so sent a message inquiring to see if there were any extras available, and there were! I couldn't pass up the opportunity - she's just too adorable! I'm very interested in Nena02 as well, the new Reira face is cuteness personified.

 

Hi everyone!!! I bought Melo last year!!!! She is so adorable that I want to share 2 pictures of her that I took on my travel arround Japan last November. The wig does not convince me at all and I'm still working in her definitive look but well... Hope you like it!

I got my tan melo* (that's the actual name of the sculpt!) today, will post some photos and a box-opening later. I wasn't sure about her when picked up the box, but the second I stuck some eyes in I knew she was staying....

 

EvilShara love your girl's freckles and pigtails, such a cutie pie! That dress is perfect for her too

My melo* came yesterday and she's soooo so so so cute! Love her expressiveness - her cheeky smile, dynamic hands, even the little arches in her feet. I was lucky and have a dress and eyes that work perfectly for her, but none of the wigs in my stash work, so I'll have to remedy that soon. But even bald she's just the sweetest thing!

Oh also - I love her resin, and the faceup is excellent. Perfect cat - eye

 

Hurray for more Melo*! I definitely think I need to order one very soon now, especially since there doesn't seem to be any boys yet XD I want to reshell my boy!

Thankfully our financial situation is starting to get better so i'll actually be able to afford dolls soon.

Yay that's great news, I hope she arrives as soon as possible. The toffee skin is my top favourite. *.* I'm waiting for Rei to come out, but Reira turned out to be really gorgeous. :3
I'm back with Prim, I'm desperately trying to find some dress patterns, so please excuse yer top, I've never sew in my life. xD it's the first prototype, and just made her a flower crown. :3
I've also decided to give her a butterfly tattoo. :3

I was able to assist the Dolls&Party event early this month in Barcelona
/Spain and melo* came with me, she was so happy to assist too :3

 

Yay they are so cute! I wish I could have attended the event. Hopefully I can go to Ldoll. I have some more Prim spam, she has a new wig, outfit and shoes! I'm so in love with her. *.*

Hi everyone! I'm currently planning to get a Melo, so I thought I'd check out this thread. All of your little girlies are so adorable, oh my goodness! Coming here confirmed that I absolutely need one.

A question for anyone who has a Melo and a Lati Yellow; how do their knee joints compare? I know this is a weird question, but I'm getting some Lati sheep hooves, and was wondering if a sheep Melo would be possible.

This morning arrived my Reira by Atelier Momoni, toffee skin version and I'm just in love! I also got Rei face. Next weekend I'll try to make up the Reira's face and sew some clothes for her. I'm just amazed with her joints, they're ones of the best I seen ever. I'm not sure about the wig, maybe I will search another one.

Dolly Wardrobe she is beautiful! I just got my shipping notification for my tan Reira girl...can't wait.

 

I got my Reira a couple days ago and just finished her face up last night. I still need to give her a name.

This is such a fantastic thread! I ordered my Nena 02 a few days ago and I'm really excited that she is going to be my first bjd. I'll be sure to share pictures when she gets home.

She arrived today with face-up and a nice dress done by Lola, she is amazing !!

 

Reira is really a beauty! I think I want her too. Can you add more pictures of her? How is she made??? Any complaints? How is her makeup? Are you satisfied?

 

Reira is so beautiful-! For those of you who own her (if you do not mind my asking), there are a few measurements that I would need before I'm sold on her- would any of you know her head and neck circumference?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.​

 

My Reira arrived today and I am smitten. She is easily the best quality artist doll I have ever seen or owned.

I am so happy to see such beautiful dolls!! I ordered my Rei and I just can't wait I did have some questions though, anyone know what clothes Nena 02 can fit in other than chibi unoa? And although in length yosd shoes probably fit, are they a bit wide?

 

i will be getting melo* during the next preorder, which is supposed to be soon! i'm so excited - she's so perfect and cute!!

 

I would love to have tips on shoes also! I have some that kind of work (Ruby Red Galleria and Nubanded on Etsy) but I feel she can do better
As for clothes, I have found some YoSD pieces work and sometimes slim MSD pieces work too... it is hit and miss really, but what I don't have I will simply sew! lol

This week I'll get my Reira in normal skin (there was no more dolls in tan ). First she must get a make up and I'll show her too. It will take some time...
I would like to ask, which wig is your Reira wearing?

 

You're right, Rrabbit has some awesome boots and mary janes, I didn't know them yet... do you know if they fit Reira?

Congrats with your doll, normal skin is very pretty too! I had a very hard time choosing.

As for the wig, I don't remember where I got it (years ago). I do remember that I gave it a custom cut though.
I am not exactly a hair dresser but I feel that with shorter hair, it often improves the wig a lot

I got my melo back in February! I finally just got ahold of some eyes for her, I was going to get her blue but I really like the green on her.
