They released a new, 65 body some time ago alongside Posia so this may be it. I remember seeing a post about the new body that had some photos but I don't remember where

Anyone know dolls with similar measurements? I think the Feeple65 girls are too small. The Supia 65cm body seems close but is a bit bigger.

Also, I looked at all their bodies, too, and it definitely looks completely different than the others. And I like it better.

 

I asked the New Clover Singing dealer to order an AS doll but with the normal feet instead of heeled. She said it was no problem. Currently waiting for her to come in but I know one other person was able to ask that dealer and get the flat feet version too

 

I'm completely smitten by Aeolian, I'm a big fan of Ghostblade's artwork and if they release the Ice Princess too, I'm in big big trouble.

I've seen her, she is gorgeous, too. But Aeolian spoke more to me and I ended up ordering her in milk tea skin. Never thought I'd ever pay over 1000$ for a doll, let alone get another SD doll, but here I am. I'm excited but also feel a bit guilty for paying so much. I hope, her faceup will live up to the preview pictures.

SartoriaJ's 64 Mintonette Body seems to have similar measurements.

 

I wish I could order both Yan (uh, Yulia) and Aeolian, I love both characters and they're both so beautiful sadly I'll have to settle for one so I've decided to go with the ice princess. I hope I can get Aeolian secondhand in the future!

 

I got one of their girls with a company faceup a couple years ago, and she is still stunning! They were kind enough to send a pic of her faceup to me when it was finished too, so keep an eye out for that (assuming they still do it of course =p)
I'm so sad though I won't be able to get Aeolian, she's soooooo pretty and I'm really glad AS is doing this collab with the artist, they really are the perfect company for the task.

 

Hello all - just dropping in here because it looks like the Angell Studio threads are a little confusing here on DoA. I'm wondering if our next iteration of this thread should be inclusive of all larger Angell Studio dolls (such as 74cm boys, etc)? I didn't see a thread for them in my searching around.

 

Just checking if anyone has received one of the new 65cm/YT/slim bodies (that Posia, Aeolian, and Yulia were released on) yet? I’m thinking of upgrading one of my girls onto it (she’s on a 60 right now but I’d love her to be taller )
I’m really interested in seeing comparison photos (if anyone has them) of it next to the 58/60/62 (but any pictures of it would be great!)

 

Last time I asked AS, they said my Yulia would be shipped around June. So not yet for me!

Aeolian was available a little earlier, yes. I think she should be shipped around the same time, fingers crossed! I wish I could have gotten both of them but sadly my wallet didn't agree, haha.

She was already shipped on thursday and just arrived in my country. I'm preparing for the customs bill right now...

Mine has already passed customs but didn't move since 4 days. Angell Studio shipped her with UPS, although the website said EMS. But UPS actually lets you pay the customs fees through their website, which is really cool.

 

My Aeolian arrived on Friday. I haven't opened her until today, work, but I wanted to take box-opening photos today!

My Aeolian arrived two days ago as well. She is probably the most beautiful and realistiy looking doll I own. It literally took me two days to put on all of her jewelry. I hope I can find the time to post a boxopening as well. @Weslie Congarts on her arrival!

I have a different corset for her and plan to maybe use another wig in the future but I want to keep her overall style and appearance, especially the jewelry, because that is one of my favorite parts of the full set. I'm actually not using the big butterfly skirt, because it's too big for my taste.

Are you having some different plans for your girl as well?

 

@Amadiel Tbh I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her! Her jewelry looks beautiful but overwhelming. I actually didn't buy her because of her connection to the comic, I just really liked her face.

Something tells me she'll require a more sophisticated wardrobe than what I currently have available. I'm also worried about how she'll look next to my Supia Rosy, who is the only other SD sized doll I have.

Congrats on her arrival! I was wondering about the braid, too. But I didn't trust myself to open it, as I didn't want to ruin it.

 

I asked AS for an update and was told my girl is still with the faceup artist so I guess it'll still be a while before Yulia makes her way to me. I can't wait!

 

Same. I do love her braided look, but it would be really cute if her hair was loose (but I still want to be able to put it back in braids). The fibers are SO soft.

 

I'm SO curious to see owner pictures of her! Can't wait till you share your girl.

How pink is Angell Studio pink? I have a Supia doll rose pink (a cooler toned normal pink) head to hybrid and ik DF-H pink or heydoll normal pink is more peachy, along with certain batches of impldoll normal pink. Any advice on this would be great

Can anyone with a Hua Rong share what body they have her on?

I tried mine on a Volks SDGr and liked the proportions, but when I tried her on my Biyao's body, the neck length and head fit didn't look pleasing to me at all
