Hello everyone! My Aeolian made by Angell Studio arrived and I couldn't be more excited! She was by far my most impulse bought and expensive doll that I own to this day. But when I saw that Angell studio made a doll of princes Aeolian based on WLOPs webcomic and gorgeous artworks, I knew I had to have her. I ordered her in milk tea resin, on December 28 2023 and she arrived on June 17 2024. So roughly 5 1/2 months, not bad for a full set doll that size. She was shipped with UPS and the package arrived in perfect condition. Now onto the box opening! The only thing that's bothering me a bit about her faceup are her eyelashes. They are attached in a way that they point straight down over her eyes, almost like a curtain. I might remove them and try to attach them in a different way or use some other lashes, I'm not sure yet. 20240617_181226 by keliyara, on Flickr Golden shoes from the full set. I kind of regret not getting the other golden metal shoes they offered separately. 20240617_184543 by keliyara, on Flickr Beautiful panties and bikini top: 20240617_185557 by keliyara, on Flickr continued in next post:
...continued: It literally took me two days to finish adding all her jewelry to her body. I wished Angell Studio would have included some sort of guide on how to put those on her, because it was not really clear at some points. (Not me breaking two pieces of those chains in the process and me and my boyfriend spending one evening sitting there with lights and tweezers trying to fix those tiny rings that I ripped open...) 20240618_183128 by keliyara, on Flickr Almost completely dressed up! Note: The chains around her waist are actually meant for her back, but I'm not gonna display her like that so I thought putting them there looked nicer. 20240618_200008 by keliyara, on Flickr And finished dressing up in her whole set: She is very huge and very heavy, I need to find a fitting place to display her. 20240619_175432 by keliyara, on Flickr 20240619_175545 by keliyara, on Flickr When I ordered her I was worried that she might not look like in her promo pictures but she looks exactly like them. I am completely bewitched by her, her faceup and all that delicate jewelry look even more lovely in person. I couldn't be happier. Truly a princess! I hope you enjoyed all my pictures!
Absolutely stunning! Angell Studio, while not my usual sculpt preference, makes incredible dolls. My solo Angell Studio girl is by far my nicest quality fit for all her pieces, and the resin feels wonderful. About the lashes: I had a doll like that once, and I put the eyes in to hold them on (they were glued along the back of the lid instead of the edge, which is why they angled down), wrapped the forehead like I was going to put a face shield on, and actually washi taped the lashes up to the wrapping. Left it like that for 20 minutes, gently removed the tape, and they were bent normally! If you want to try that before doing anything with them. (If you're not like me and don't mind lashes, go for your route. I just hate gluing them on, haha.)
What an ravishing girl. Adorable face up but yes the eyelash placement is weird. They could dip a little but how they are covers those lovely eyes.
Thank you everyone for you sweet comments. That's a good idea, I think I might try that first, thank you.
Thank you! I love the resin colour, it really looks like black tea with lots of milk. Although it's a bit darker in reality than on my pictures.
WOW! She is beautiful. I think her jewelry is the most gorgeous set I've ever seen! Congrats and enjoy!!
Quick little update: I managed to bend her eyelashes upwards. @dm_sof Thank you for the tip, as I didn't have to remove them completely. Here is a before and two afterwards pictures (plus new eyes). Looks much better now: Before: 20240617_181226 by keliyara, on Flickr After: 20240711_155550 by keliyara, on Flickr 20240711_155615 by keliyara, on Flickr
She's so lovely I'm so glad my tip helped! Gosh, you're making me want to do my AS girl's face up even more, but I've sworn to myself I'll finish my current face ups first.
