Another order I have with MOC that still has a month layaway arrived in their store a few weeks back so you may get notification soon

....And she's currently "lost." The address written on her is slightly different but non-existant. I contacted them impatiently to find out the customs fees reference number and turns out there is a different address written on the package. Customs opened and repacked her so I think the fault lies with them because the address is correct with Angell-Studio. Annoyingly the company delivering her don't actually have her and couldn't update the details themselves. They had to send a request to someone else for the details to be changed. I had a feeling something was wrong. I've never felt this anxious about a parcel before Customs fees were also £104 (About $160.)

 

Omg that's awful! Bloody customs, they're so evil!

 

Oh no!! I hope they find her soon!!

 

Parcelforce are now refusing to change the address despite being happy enough to take the money for the customs fees yesterday and telling me it will be changed fine. I must have phoned them 10 times yesterday and today. I'm seriously worried I won't get her. Driver has been messaged and with any luck she'll end up back at the depot although the depot is over an hour away by train.

 

urgh that sounds so bad! I'd put a complaint through over the way they're dealing with this. You should get a refund on the handling fee since they're doing such a poor job of handling it. >_>

Angell-studio sent me a picture of their carbon copy of the label and they put the correct details on. The postcode did look a little like a capital H instead of the df it ended in but they didn't use capital letters. I wouldn't have thought it was a H just because of that. Doesn't explain why the door number and the rest of the details apart from the town are wrong though. Hopefully the driver will check the original label with the details I gave and see it actually matches up. I just worry the original label was replaced though. I have been tracking my parcel all day to make sure no-one else has signed for it because then I'll definitely never get it.

 

Finally Elizabeth has arrived. Was rather stressful dealing with Parcel Force who insisted on sending her to the wrong address despite the right address being on her box but she got here safe eventually

 

My last layaway payment is due next month and still not word about my victoria arriving at MoC ;_; I'm so impatient lol

 

I feel you there I actually ordered mine in Jan where the order didn't get sent in til feb and it's paid off but i'm still super antsy hoping to get my email any day now. No such luck D8. I'm hoping we both hear something soon! ;;

there we go....just updated with my info finally.

 

MoC told me that the batch order that has my doll in it was a really large order and that's what the hold up is. I paid her off though!

 

Ahhh thank you for posting here about it. Think we're in the same batch order and I've been wondering what was up @_@. Hopefully it'll be complete soon.

I added my faceup after I ordered my doll and Lemon told me her partner said the pricing for my faceuo is a bit more so I had to pay 14 more dollars. Now it's just the waiting game to approve the faceup. I really hope what I said came across correctly. How long does it normally take for them to do a faceup once they get a doll from the factory?

I got the notice that my items arrived with MOC today. however, my fullset order was kind of botched. A-S forgot to include my outfit (which included the helmet of course) and my shoes for her. I'm still waiting to see if they did my body blushing/faceup and included the additional heeled feet since I had asked for the flat footed legs. Ugh I'm really hoping that it doesn't take them too long to get the outfit =n=

 

she shipped from moc. I would be more excited, but she's coming at an awful time. My best friend passed away yesterday, so I'm just kinda like.... idk. I'm sure I'll still love her but... idk, the excitement isn't there right now.

 

My asdoll qingyi arrived after about 4 months of waiting...but he came in the wrong skin tone

I got the notification that my order arrived at Mint On Card Inc. Unfortunately, there was a glitch in their internal system which erased once of my pre-order dolls when they had placed their Angell-Studio order. They have assured me that this has never happened before and stated that they have fixed it immediately. They also said that I am the only one affected by it. So, if any of you haven't heard about your orders yet, don't panic.

So, I will be receiving my Snow, but Ice unfortunately did not arrive/was not made due to the glitch.

I guess these things happen with large orders. I was given two options, either have them re-order the doll or get a full refund for the doll that did not arrive. I went with having them re-order the doll. They still will be shipping out what they have of my order, and will pay for shipping once Ice arrives. I still love Mint On Card Inc. But, I can't help but be a little disappointed that this happened.

I also do want to say that Mint On Card Inc is handling this very professionally.

So I got my doll today....and I didn't even get a faceup approval email or anything. Is that common practice?? I kept seeing people say they get emails showing faceups or shipping notices up I got nothing. My doll is here and I got nothing. It's a nice surprise, but I never got to approve the face up or anything. Let's hope everything is right. :/

 

Hmmm it's common for them to ship the doll without informing you but it's odd that they did it without sending you the faceup pictures. I've ordered two dolls from them and always got the faceup pictures before they sent it. I'm sure it's fine though.

 

Hooraaaah! My A-S 'Aaron' was paid off today through MoC, and now I wait...despite it already being 6 months today. XD Ah well, I'm 6 months in on my other doll too that I'm waiting on, so what's a little more waiting, eh? 7 months was my longest, guess we'll see if these guys beat 'em!
Though, he's coming blank, so I didn't think it'd take this long. haha

 

Hooraaaah! My 'Aaron' arrived last night. He has a mark on his leg, that looks like gold pencil scribble, but it's sort of small, so if it doesn't come off I'll just leave it and turn it into a scar since his character is a klutz and always hurting himself. Other than that, first doll from A-S, and I love him!

 

One more payment, and Mandarava will be coming home. Can't wait to see her sweet face in person!

 

I got an email from Angell-Studio this morning, asking me to confirm the faceup on my gorgeous new girl before they send her my way! I am so in love Will hopefully get tracking info in a few days.

Congrats Meyneth! When did you order? My order still says stocking and was just wondering if they just haven't updated it. I am going on holidays for 2 weeks and am worried that it will come in that time frame.

I also didn't get charged by customs!
Which is really really weird since they opened the box and everything ( the ominous yellow tape of Canada Boarder Services was a grim reminder).
My post office lady was also really confused, she kept scanning the package code to make sure that she wasn't missing some sort of label or customs slip.

Is anyone else having issues with signing in to their account? I sign in and it says sign in accepted, then when I try to click on My Account, it asks me to sign in again, which I do but it just keeps going to the sign in page. Starting to tick me off!! I have sent an email to AS to ask them what to do. I know I am putting my info in correctly so I don't know what else to do.

 

I just tried signing in and I'm getting the same thing. Maybe it's a server issue or something

 

Yes I have been emailing back and forth with them and they said they are having issues right now. Their IT dept is on holidays this week so won't be able to look at it till next week.

Paid off my layaway early, yaaaay! Still waiting for a shipping notice. Darn that Chinese New Year, lol.

 

I was having a hard time with their site so I ended up buying through emails that's why there was a delay between ordering and paying. But I'm glad that Lemon was really lovely and great to work with. I added a wig on at the last minute so I'm hoping to pay for that asap, but I have to wait for an invoice for that.
So that's where I'm at waiting for an invoice for the additional wig. I know to be patient right now while they have their holidays for the Chinese New year, so I'm just.... reaaaaaaaaally eccited, and trying to be patient... it's not my forte.

I'm on a 6 month layaway... so it'll be something around 9 or more months maybe, before I get a notice... But it's good, really, since I couldn't afford him any other way...

 

Ouch that's a long wait! I think 6 months is my record so far.

My Cynthia showed up on Monday and she's devine! Very beautiful. Sadly It's been so dark here and it's been hard to take photos.

 

@Yuna-Ki I am happy she got home so quickly! I got unlucky and they didn't send her before the holidays, so she's probably sitting waiting to be sent out soon. I didn't think I'd be so impatient, but with doing the 3 month layaway, it's really been a long time! I can't wait to see your photos!

And it sucks to hear about everyone's long wait, I know I just finalized my order earlier last month but I am super impatient. I just want them here so I can make them clothes and stuff.
