How my second dolly became my first [Angell-studio Hua Rong fullset]

It's kind of a funny story
I had ordered Hua Rong just a couple weeks after finally ordering my first doll (an Iplehouse Luna, which coincidentally was shipped a few weeks after Hua was shipped) :P

Anyway, she arrived at the post office yesterday and I opened her last night.
I was so sleepy (⇀ε↼)
But I had to be strong ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ



So silvery and cool... *-*
This is the first time I've seen a bjd box (in real life at least)

The baggy with the clothes was really heavy actually. Like, I could tell that there was a lot of fabric within. The little gold bag has her eyes inside (which are glass) and the wig came with a little Styrofoam head wearing it. I've never seen that in the many box opening videos I've watched. o_o

Dolly Unleashed! O.O
As you can see I also got an extra head for her. The second head is the one I plan on customizing in the future, but for now I had asked them to give it the Hua Rong (black) faceup (which also looks mega cute, but I forgot to take pictures with that face on).



She already stands cutely! (ﾉ≧ڡ≦)
She's also heavier than I expected, but I still haven't experienced the "Resin Squeak" when I move her. ><

It's really cool that not only can she stand on her own, but she can still do it while in her soft slipper shoes. And her clothes are very heavy!
So much fabric @.@
It does need some ironing though, but I probably won't get around to that until the weekend or something.

I have no time for her until the weekend, so I'm experiencing insta-guilt right now. Hopefully I can get on to making her new wig so her aesthetic transformation can begin. ^^

 

The body is Soo great!
She sits great, her shoulders and elbows bend perfectly! It's surprisingly easy to move her around.

I will probably be modding her wrist ball things so that she can do a proper 90 degree angle with her hands but that's just me being finicky :p

The hardest part about getting her to stand for that picture was trying to keep her skirts out from under her feet! :p

Her company photos made her look Soo amazing but I couldn't pinpoint what it was that made me so mesmerized.
And then my brother said that she looked like a Sailor Moon character and it clicked! So then I had to get her

I should probably also mention that their customer service lady is really nice. Lemon kept me up to date about the progress on my doll, along with answering my questions and the request for the extra head. She also emailed me when the tracking registered that the doll was at the post office!
I thought that was really thoughtful. ^^
