[Adopted] Ringdoll Grown Dolls, thread #5

Yeah, My Boy is also barefoot so I had to figure something out xD
BUT! still waiting for the photos :3

 

I got my K today! He came with a gift pair of hands which was a nice surprise. He didn't have any broken parts or chips, but I guess he had a bumpy ride on the way since his nose had broken through (!!) the hard plastic face mask.

Here he is side by side with my Ludvig, a 45cm msd. I was surprised how heavy he is, I can't really hold him comfortably for longer than a minute. And painting him is so hard after all those miniature faceups :P I already started his faceup, but I might have to adjust it a little.

They're holding hands, aww.

His nose poked through!? Oh my. At least he wasn't harmed. Congrats

 

He has quite an infamous nose. And sharp. I guess it will be an ideal spot for dirt over time, too.

Yeah I keep bringing him to work but yesterday I didn't have time, and today I left my camera battery at home D: (so really, I couldn't have taken pics yesterday either lol fail)

That's all I got!! I really regret not buying more hands now. And the feet. Oh well. John needs a fourth head anyway so that's just yet another RD order...

Thanks! And yeah....he is. The problem is he isn't my character, he's a DC guy. They didn't exactly give him a name....so I have a few options that would work for him but I'm not sure they work for me lol
So I haven't settled yet. Someday....until then he's Nameless.

They don't quite fit as well as I'd like, I had to put a little hot glue in there to raise them a hair so they would have better movement....but other than that they're great. I think they work better with his head since they were....made for his head. Lol

I put the other pair on Constantine over the weekend. I still want some for Dresden, but they're perfect on him, he's keeping them (and lets face it, in a popularity contest for just me between Harry Dresden and John Constantine, Constantine wins. Especially since Jim Butcher has dropped off the face of the earth.....*rant*)

 

Oh my oh my they have posted the Judge of Hell and his face kind of looks like a combination of K and Illya with elf ears. I am so glad I saved up for him. I'm dying that I have to wait....

 

OMG Where? Now I'm super excited =D

 

Oooh man he's gorgeous! But I'm holding out for two that may (never) be released. And a K head.

 

I want those hands and feet and head on a rgm3 body! too bad I promised my parents aka the holders of only paypal account in sight that I would reward myself only after I finish my master of law. But I need him since I'm a future judge too lol.

On another note those hands look so fragile they would never make it here alive

 

Holy crapppp the Judge! D: Those feet are amazing. I would love to own them! He looks like a Giger work. I keep telling myself I am lucky I don't do fantasy....but between him and the White King I wish I did.

The collar and horn,otherwise I love him. Ringdoll and the seller Clover-singing threw in some gifts. Wigs, doll laptop, ipad and fist hands.

 

Not sure if it's interesting for some to hear, but I had asked Ringdoll regarding White King and what is included in the basic package and whether it's possible to get the doll blank but still with armor.

Hehehe, I love for my 'self-adopted grandchildren' to be warm and fed . He has some nice props, love his little unicorn cup.

So now I guess we need to make a Photo Gallery for our multiple dolly spam since the Company Specific Photo Reference has been shut down. Kind of bummed out about that; why didn't they just move Photo Snaps into the Main Gallery in the first place?
Who wants to make the Ringdoll specific photo spam thread in the Main Gallery? Do we want it only grown or grown and teen?

I guess they are doing it to all the photo snap threads they moved to photo reference, darn...

 

I don't know what is going on, but yeah lets do a new Ringdoll photo dump/spam page for us.

 

I am so confused with what's going on at the moment in regard to photo threads.

 

They moved the photo snaps into the photos reference area, then changed the rules. I think it was a move to delete pages of Photobucket hijacked But we can spam away again.

 

I'm also confused....why lock our thread? It doesn't look like the other ones were locked.

But I have good news . Ringdoll answered my email and my order of gesture hands, including a pair in wheat resin, getta and high-heeled feet, should be shipped before Halloween.

 

Oh that is good news! I'm dying to see that wheat color in comparison to all other colors lol
I need to order some more hands and feets (and two more K heads) in the future and it'll be nice to know if I have anything that wheat will match.

I've always admired the creativity of ringdoll but was never compelled to own one....but now I'll be keeping a close watch

 

I put the last in-stock Ringdoll MOC had, Raymond WS fullset, on layaway. I won't see him until March next year *sigh*. I basically want his body and outfit. This way I still have my 12 months no interest PP option for the Judge.

 

Hello guys, sorry for being a stranger, life's been rather weird lately but I have some good news! I finally made a break in communicating with Ringdoll and Anton now have his new correct right leg! The color match is perfect (I think they just found his leg somewhere and sent it) and I got some complementary (and freaking beautiful) blue eyes, but of course they are somewhere around 16 mm (my boys need around 13 mm) but still, they are gorgeous and I'm happy.

Soo, anyone have an idea what I am supposed to to with the extra leg?

 

Make a lamp?
