[Adopted] Dollmore Trinity Discussion

Thanks! My Elysia is the Blue Voler edition. Her faceup is really pretty. I'm also totally in love with the Creme Voler Klaire's faceup (and outfit). It's the first version they released where I really like her sculpt. The other versions I could take or leave, but I'd love to bring Creme Voler Klaire home one day, too.

 

I just received a reply from Dollmore and they said that she would be ready to ship this week!!

 

Oh wow that means you have that gorgeous black outfit! All three Voler Trinities definitely have amazing clothes. I love the huge lengths of tulle. And of course the corsets

 

Yeah, those outfits are pretty spectacular (although, I don't put it on my girl often because that corset is entirely laceup and it is a pain to get on and off! lol). if I can't get the Klaire, I'd love to at least get my hands on her outfit. It's just so amazing! I also wouldn't mind the peach version, either. Then my Elysia and Lumie could match! I also wouldn't mind the Persona Pathos Elysia outfit for the same reason.

There are a lot of outfits I'd love to get my hands on, actually. The Schlierenist Lumie's fullset (especially since I have Schlierenist Lusion on Layaway), and the Now to Eternity Elysia's fullset. The Blanc Printemps is also pretty spectacular. I really wish Dollmore would just start releasing limited outfits like these without a doll attached (or else I just need to teach myself some serious sewing skills. lol). They have so few Trinity outfits to begin with; I'm sure a few elaborate outfits like that would be big sellers!

Holy crap, guys! I just got a notice that Dollmore is actually selling the Sugar Amnesia AND the Golden Dust dress sets separately! They're in the Trinity clothes section. O_O
There are only like three of each available, and they both cost as much as a full SD doll, but just letting people know, in case anyone is interested in those sets. Man, if I had the spare money I'd be all over that sugar amnesia outfit. But ouch!

Oh my god, that Sugar Amnesia outfit! It's a perfect replica of a robe à la Française. Have to figure out how to get that funds together--for a DRESS, no less, instead of a doll! I have some set aside but I was waiting on Souldoll's next Tarot release....oof, decisions.

 

It actually never occurred to me to sell my Klaire's clothes. I don't think she'll ever wear them and that would (apparently) be a new doll, just sitting in my drawer. Hmm... I'll have to think about that.

 

Now that the convention is over, I really need to get back to designing some things for my Elysia. She hasn't had much attention in awhile!

 

Wow, the Sugar Amnesia and Metaphor Play dress sets are already sold out! Not entirely surprised, though, given how pretty they both are. The underdress from Metaphor Play is stunning just on its own. The Golden Dust set is still available though.

 

I was very sorely tempted by the sugar amnesia, but I just couldn't justify it right now. :\ Still, they went quick!

Hi everyone ^^ It's really impressive seeing people's posts about having multiple Trinity girls at home; I have enough trouble (only the best kind, of course) managing one. I got the Vanish Scent version of Lumie, partially because of the price difference, but also because I just really didn't want one of Dollmore's gorgeous outfits to deal with; they're exquisitely beautiful, but just moving Lumie around in casual children's clothes is enough of a challenge >< How do you all style your girls on a day-to-day basis? My Lumie spends most of her time lounging around in simple outfits, to minimize hassle. I don't know how I would manage one of those detailed gowns; do any of your girls dress that way all the time?

 

Ah I love the way you've dressed her!! It's more stylish than straight-up casual, yet still not really "dressy". And she has such a beautiful faceup. Do you have any closeups of her face?
(Sorry I can't answer your question, since I don't yet own a Trinity)

 

I got to see one of these girls in person at last years PNW BJD Expo. She was amazing. Its fun to see sizes I dont collect in person.

This is just the Dollmore face-up for her Vanish Scent release, but I think she looks a lot prettier in person than in their promotional pictures. Her eyebrows are so pale that it weirdly doesn't bother me when they don't match her hair.

 

I also have Lumie, the Persona Pathos set, and I never really found that set to be much of a bother. The under dress and overdress are really loose-fitting, so it's a simple feat to lay her on the bed and slide them on and off. The overdress snaps up the back, no tying or anything.

My Elysia is the Blue Voler version, and her corset is laceup, which is a bit more of a pain to get on and off, so I don't put it on her often. But since she looks older, I prefer to have her in more elegant outfits, so I usually have her sitting around in Dollmore's white Lohen dress set, which also goes on and off with snaps.

Lumie, though, wears lots of childrens clothes. I especially love the sets I got her from the various shops sold through Zulily. She's a very dressy sort of child.

 

Yes I think her faceup looks prettier in your photos than on the Dollmore site! And I agree about the eybrows/hair - it doesn't look mismatched at all.

Do you have any photos of your Lumie in her Persona Pathos set? I would love to see that!

 

Actually, I don't have any good photos of Tori wearing it, oddly enough. I do have a couple with Michaela (my Elysia) wearing it. I need to put it back on Tori at some point, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. ^^;

 

I don't have my girl yet, (tomorrow or Friday I will though!!) But I can already say that she won't be wearing her Red Priestess dress often, or at all. Most likely I will put it on her once and then try to sell it.

Initially, I really liked the dress but then I realized that it's got some lacy and see through spots that I'm not crazy about. Plus I bought my girl over 30 pieces of clothes from our local thrift shop (that just closed for good about a week ago ) So she will be dressed in casual clothes most the time.

 

I almost bought the Sugar Amnesia dress set, but I realized I would never have her wear it.

Congratulations on her homecoming!!! I just checked out your image post. Her face is breathtaking. I just adore that faceup. And personally I think she looks really great with short length hair like the free wig Dollmore gave you!

 

Awesome Klaire! She's gorgeous. I'd love to see her in her fullset, too.

Yay :3 She looks like a confident little tomboy in that short wig and camo shorts; it's super cute ^^ Still glamorous, but a little less intimidating. (maybe not surprising from someone who picked Lumie, but I've usually found Klaire's face to be a little too strong, or something? Dressed down, though, I like her a lot)

 

She does have a very "strong" face, I agree. But I think that's why I like her. She's fierce!

 

Oh, very ^^ I guess I prefer mopey dolls >< Klaire is lovely and has a lot of personality! She can probably pull off a lot of styles; it'll be fun for you to play around with, I'm sure.

Oh my... Dollmore is slaughtering me with these new releases. I completely adore this new Lumie. Her outfit, her faceup.... I am so tempted, which I have never felt for a Lumie before. I think her aesthetic is sort of similar to the Blanc Printemps Elysia: cream outfit and natural makeup. They'd look fantastic next to each other!

 

Here's my Klaire (still not named ) in 5T boots, 9 month shorts (which are a little loose but not bad) and a tiny tank top. (not sure the size)



I love that I can go to the store and buy her clothes! She's quickly becoming my most spoiled doll.

 

Oh man, I am looking forward to this part! It's so crazy (but also awesome) that they wear toddler sizes. I looove those boots!

 

It is SO awesome to just walk into a store and buy stuff, you'll love it. The boots were so cute, I had to get them!

I bought them at the store and they were $6 more. Not a huge difference, but still. It would have been nice to get them for $20!

 

Did You see, they offer the pink voler dress now, too.

I just could not resist and ordered it.
But I will have to wait a bit as I will pick it up at Ldoll in October.

This is a wish come true actually. I asked them for the dress last Ldoll but they said they would not sell dresses separately as they were too expensive....and here they are offering more and more of those...

Yeah, I got a pink voler dress! Now my Jude will have something colorful to wear!

 

Oh, pink voler is lovely! I love pink...I'm so glad they've started offering the clothes separately. Now if only I could afford them right now.

 

I think that they thought people wouldn't be willing to pay the price for the expensive clothes sets. Now that they see that they do sell, I hope they will continue to offer them!

 

I hope so too. Considering the first one (sugar amnesia) sold out in the first day! I mean one did fall through, but even still, I'd hope that would be a fair representation of demand. Big girls need pretty clothes too, after all.

The pink voler is my favorite one so far. Too bad I'd rather have a doll than a dress.

I made sure and wrote to Dollmore that I absolutely love it, that we can now buy the dresses separately.

To be honest, how many of these big girls can you fit in your home?...but they still need pretty dresses and they like to change from time to time...at least mine do. ☺️

 

That is so true! I have two, Jude and Elysia and that is bit too much!

 

I have two as well, and I've suggested more than once on Dollmore's facebook page that people would be willing to purchase just the outfits. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the Cream Voler and at least two others sets will be sold separately. lol

Congrats on ordering the Pink Voler set! I'm so tempted by it, since my Elysia is the Blue Voler version and my Lumie would match, but I'm still holding out for the cream set.

 

Good luck in finding the cream voler dress, Stormlight. I hope they will offer it for you to buy, too.

I have to admit, I have three of these girls at home: black Jude, violet letter Elysia and belladonna requiem Klaire.
Out of the three, Jude is the most underdressed one and I am happy to have something beautiful and colorful for her to wear soon.

 

Please post photos when you get it! It's such a pretty dress.
