i really like it when a guy is taller than a lady. this is why i got my sid girl an eid guy, but superhero. looks great together

think its a good size difference and if she wears platform boots it looks great
but somehow as my eid guy is the boss i wish to see if the idol is smaller or same size

 

ah sorry think I got you wrong as we spoke about shoe sizes. yeah hopefully somebody got one

cause... impl writes 72cm and here in the discussion somebody told is is a bit under 70cm and if that was true it was perfect *G

Wow, Plaice is huge! He is bigger than an EID- he is Idealian sized. I can put an EID girl next to an EID guy but you can find lots of pics of that online. Maybe check those out and see how they match up to Plaice here? I think he may be bigger. Also, try this site: http://dollection.fi/heaven/

You can compare owner pics against a scale.

Here, I just grabbed a screen cap for you. Idealian on the far left, EID woman next to him, then the 2 EID boys to the right- Superhero and Model, the Model is shorter of course. Idealian and Idol are almost identical except for jointing and some minor aesthetics.

I know all of those pics and thank you for that. The only thing I found were some group shots in flickr but the idol was not beside eid model guy.

I wish to see Idol beside EID- the other comparsions I already know and at the comparsion heaven how it was called, there is just the tiny Impl. Am not a newbie so i checked all alternatives before asking here cause somehow.... there are a lot of people just asking and not willing do to own research- don't mean anybody personal her, just said this cause I made this experience. But I do before I ask. So hope I will find it out with somebodies help here

 

Sorry I was redundant. Maybe it'll help someone else. I hope you get the pic you're looking for! Pretty sure you will eventually. (By the time I get an Idol, my EID will be gone!)

 

No chalyss... I Found my mistake cause As i did Not mention i did The research before asking- you Could Not have known. Thanks for your efford And i am Sure that These pics help somebody. As i Know this comparison pic beside idealian - i was astonished As i heared that Idol is Bit under 70cm And As idealian is 72cm Soom says, its Bit confusing. And a Dealer from England got an Idol in Stock And told that Tony is 70.5cm

It's meant to be more realistic, so that should be very interesting!

I didn't realize he was such a moose either, Fish! Huge! Though I think his shoulders are 1cm smaller than the Idol and his calves are visibly a bit bigger.

 

Think impl improved a Lot with their Special serieses compared to The older Basic dolls

Green-eyed soul, a lot of the 72cm boys are, as you know, not actually 72cm. I've also heard the Idols are actually 70cm. It looks like the Idealians are really 72... I should get a Soom person to verify that is true. Do you want the 72 or the 70cm? If you want the taller, a pair of boots could easily make that up..?

And yes, I agree! They really changed up their game and I LOVE it!

 

yes there were a couple of sculpts I thought were cute before impldoll released their idol range, but I wasn't keen on the bodies really - too slender for me. Then I saw Marcus and POW!!!! It's the first time I HAD TO HAVE a doll - all reason gone out of the window LOL - money no object I had to have him! Funny thing is after having Marcus for several months I realised he reminded me of my ex husband hahahahahaaaaa - he had to go after that! Well I never fell out of love with the guy I guess - he was just abusive to me so I left. Freaked me out when I realised I'd fallen for a doll which looked somewhat like him (because he was usually glaring at me like that anyway LOL - although we get on OK now!)

Thankfully someone on this thread posted a pic of their Tony and he was lovely - totally NOT like any ex I had ever had, but sweet and gentle looking - and HOT So I ordered a Tony head from impldoll and kept Marcus' body - sold his head, way too fast, way too cheap, but I just wanted a quickie divorce ASAP I have never regretted getting my Tony - he's a babe

So yes - this thread really took off when impldoll upped their game - it's like they became a new company! I for one have really loved seeing a doll company making such a radical overhaul of their designs, and climb up to compete with the 'big boys' of the doll world - I really get a kick out of seeing one of the 'low end' doll companies doing so well and giving the competition a run for their money

 

i wish to have a guy about 70cm. The reason is.... my EID guy, he is the tallest, 72 with fluffy hair, and he needs to stay the tallest as the the boss of the gang stupid i know but this idea just sits in my brain and I like it

Does anybody already have the new idol body? Somehow this bust joint looks better to me

 

This new headsculpt is really interesting!

What I really like is that this is a head which looks actually more mature just by its sculpt. No face-up tricks, no shadowing.

It really seems that Impldoll is reading Doa!

 

Fishcake- may i bother again? puppyeyes. Can you tell me how much the new bust joint can move and show a pic maybe? my new guys character is... he is a photographer and I wish take pics of him "In action" - so would be great to see how it looks. Hope its ok to ask

I was browsing facebook following the link posted by Chalyss, you rules gal, when i stumbled into updates for the new Idol girl... IMPLdoll is making..shokoti???? Why now? I cannot afford another layaway!!!
About Sean head seems that finally IMPLdoll is using the suggestions that me and $avage send ages ago!!!

 

*LOL* FISHCAKE, I love those pics you took of Chapman and Kip! *snort* Cute! Wow that new Star body IS beefy though isn't it? Chapman's head looks GREAT on it! That 'flounce' pic is perfect! *sighs* I SO want an Idol body now! Yes, Chad will be my first I think. He deserves to be big and hunky! But you're right, a lot of their older doll heads are very charming! I think I want a few more of them and I'll have a good number by the end of things- Aaron, Abagail, Iris, Jared, maybe Isaac... faces I rarely ever see except for Aaron and Iris.

$abbatha, Impldoll is like off the chain with new stuff coming out! Someone did call that new girl body Shokoti, and it's similar, but I've also seen similar in Lady Death comics too, so it's definitely inspired and I am excited to see what he'll make! Bunch of new girl heads coming out, a new little Dream girl named Betsy (I think she's cuter than Nancy) and a slew of just STUFF! Awesome! They DO listen, it just takes time for them to catch up with all the demands. I suggested putting the upper arm joints in the Star series and the Idol girl and front slits for mobility and sitting, too. Maybe make an Action and Beauty line, one for us who prefer posing and engineering and one for those who like the smooth Iple look and less joints. Me? I am all for joints! The more the better! I view my dolls as giant action figures so I'd like mine limber! (NIce thing about Impl layaways, you just plunk down the holding fee of $100 and then it's pay as you like, take as long as you need, which works for me!)

ELVE: *LOL* You have some drama with your dolls! And I know what you mean... I've realized the SiDi Harlequin head is like a beautified version of my ex and it's kinda bugging me now... But the prettier-than-my-ex face works for the character and I think it's the faceup I gave him, but... odd! Glad you found a gorgeous and gentle replacement! I LOOOVE the Tony head, he's so handsome!

I will surely consider this..anyway i guess that was me on facebook that called the new girl Shokoti from Masters Of The Universe, and to me she is! If you look to the helmet that Shokoti wears you will notice that is basicly same style as the one IMPLdoll sculptor already made, hey that is just cool for me, i'm not complaining at all! I've also spotted some pics from Lady Death comic and i agree the style looks almost the same, more or less, but no helmet on lady death..also a sculptor made a custom figurine based onto Shokoti that created a pretty similiar costume to the Lady Death comic one.

 

just spoke to the admin today as I had some questions and I have to say WOW- he answered all my questions. Great to see that there are still companies they care well for their customers

 

Thanks , I took this picture during box opening of Lawrence (OT) - the poor guy is still without clothes as he could not steal them from Marcus - except for the pants (with some adjustments) and cloak. Iple guy is too beefy in shoulders for the shirt I made for Marcus .

Here is the promised comparison photo. I measured them next to each other and if they stay straight with legs next to each other, they are the same height. Here they lean back a little for more stability (as my Marcus refuses to stand well without feet wide apart - I was afraid he would tumble and throw both of them down)

also saw this about the bust sizes and really like you got a choice. the feeple65 with her silicone boops.... not everybodys taste. I see it with my taylor heart and when I made some stuff. Woops that was not easy

 

Personally i like more medium bust, it's not that i hate large bust size honestly, but to the sculpt looks more natural.

 

I agree, the medium bust really looks great! I wonder if I should ask for it before they cast my Idol, but my Idol is counterpart to my EID Yur with a large or glamor bust, AND she has a comic book aesthetic (though i tend to draw busts more realistically than men so not a triple GGG) so maybe just keep her as-is, but I keep looking at the pic. And b/c mine will be cast in red, I have to figure it out NOW, no buying an extra later on.

 

Honestly i would go for the medium size, don't know large bust seems to me too much un-realistic..hope it makes sense..even large bust would be better with more space in between the bosoms...at least for me..in red i warn you..bust will look like even bigger..so again consider the medium bust size.

 

*LOL* Both of you gave sound advice. The red doll herself gets one costume and that's it, she lives in it because it's actually part if her, her netherarmor. It doesn't change, she has to swap looks (to the human version, Yur) to change her clothes. But point taken... She's already going to be huge as an Idol and tower over her EID body, the bigger bosom might be a little TOO much. I will see if I can get the medium bust as she's supposed to be more athletically built, too. Thanks for the pearls of wisdom, ladies!

 

think it depends on the age of your doll. The age you give your character. I had an Iplehouse JID Violet with the glamour bust and somehow i thought "when i was 15 mine were smaller " LOL

 

OK! Impl says they'll make her in the medium for me! WOOT! I hope I made the right choice... about everything regarding this one. I'm nervous. She's my baby.

I've ordered her on the star body - she's going to be the AndrAIa to my Green Skin Marcus (Matrix) from ReBoot.

 

I loved ReBoot! Tell me you have pics somewhere! AndrAIa is awesome so I'm looking forward to seeing her!

It's great to see the new bust options. I'd have liked something between the small and medium as it's more like Small, Big and Mahoosive but it's great that small is actually small. As a modestly busted gal it's something I'm glad to see!

The new guy looks fantastic! It's cool seeing how Impldoll's sculpts have evolved.

Looking forward to seeing your girl too, Chalyss. As her armour is meant to be part of her are you going to graft it on to her? Not sure that's the right word! Or is it going to be removable?

does anybody know a good body review of the idol guy? cause..... i write my story.... i like to photograph with my SLR and somehow... sometimes its like doing artistic to have the perfect angle for a picture. so I thought its funny and tried to do this pose today with my Iple eid guy. kneeing on one knee, one leg back. the oter standing in front and holding a camera. he was unable to hold the balanace and as the hands are not sculpted so well (too thick fingers compared to the new hands for example and compared to the new ringdoll rgm3 body ) he was unable to hold the camera. my elfdoll girl did it. with no problems. Then i tried with sid and it worked when he kneed down on both knees without putting one leg in front
so would be great to see something but youtube... maybe i am stupid to find it or just there is none

SaturnRose, PLEAAAAASE spam pics of her when she arrives! I want a tan Azalea on the Starwoman body, so I am really interested in seeing her! And congrats, that's awesome! She is one of my all-time fave sculpts of all time ever!

RUBYDOLL, originally the netherarmor was, in a sense, welded to her skin. Her armor could only be removed upon death BUT she's been evolving a bit as I write her into a different story so maybe... maybe... I would allow a few changes though they all have to be custom made. She wouldn't have any say over how the armor appeared each time she switched to red form, but maybe I can add a few changes in the mix. I created her over 20 years ago when I was 17 and she was my alter-ego in my comic books. She had two costume changes, period, and she got the 2nd one only after a traumatic event. I think I can give her some wiggle room now and change up the rules a bit... she'd probably enjoy that.

 

rubydoll honestly better to have three sizes of bust than just one, just saying. I do not find either that attractive the small bust, but having three sizes is just great.
