Bad news: Poo, the light came in but it needs a special battery now I have to wait on that.

BUT in the good news category:
I got the shipping notice for my V08

Exciting! Spamming of pics when he arrives please!

 

Oh yeah! Spamming V8 is going to be all over the place.
He is going to be Addi Larsson, my dragon's human shift, but he's lost his dragon form due to a curse so he is bipolar, sweet as pie or mean as hell. He is in trouble and being hunted so that is why he is living with my bunch of protectors. His dragon form holds the secret to his hoard.

 

@SteamWitch congrats on the shipping notice! I'm really looking forward to your photo stories. I love photo stories but I'm too lazy to do them myself.

 

Love the back story!! And I also love photo stories... but sadly I am in the same camp as @Alewife; I try and try to do them and come out with very few and nothing really good cuz I am laaaaazy... but hope to change that soon!

 

I love my new light now that I have the battery for it. It will be wonderful for taking photos in the corner. I took this of Drake using the light for the morning creeping in. It is great. It has a dimmer and the light can go from incandescent yellow light to florescent blue light.

 

Oooh! I'll have to ask about it later on when I am ready to have a photo room! I'll have a few Granados by then!

...I haven't had time to take photos in ages... I need to do that...

 

@SteamWitch - Ooh what a great photo! I've been looking for some good lighting options for photography, where did you get the lamp if I may ask?

 

Amazon, PT-12B video light. It's not a flash but it can be set on the hot shoe of a camera. I have mine on a camera tripod. The best part about it is it has a memory so you don't have to reset it between photos when you turn it off. I didn't read everything and missed the part about it not coming with batteries. My bad.
Edit: I look forward to using tree limbs, color gels and stuff for special effects

It is quite the devilsh smirk. From different angles he looks crazy or mean, happy or sad and kind of lost. He is a great sculpt for my character.

 

@SteamWitch - Ooh thanks for that! I'll have to have a look. It's so annoying when I want to take photos once the weather turns or at night, all of the lights here at home come up terrible on camera. What sort of batteries do these things need?
Addi looks awesome! I think he and Iwan might get along.

 

@Quiet and Insane NP-F550 Li-ION battery. I think having two lights would be optimal for night photos but the batteries come 2 with a charger so that is nice. I'm still playing with it and my camera settings but loving the non-flash photos.

Edit: Addi and Iwan huh, that might be dangerous for both of them (or us), lol.

 

That would be fun and scary to see at the same time. Fun for them anyway XD

 

HAH! The angelic and the devilish! He is awesome, really! He looks dangerous but strangely /fun/... like you'll end up in jail for the night but giggling about it. Troublemaker for sure!

 

Sooo, I got home from work to a Granado box on the counter. I never got a shipping notice. I didn't even realize he'd be shipping soon. So once I'm done eating supper, box opening! (It's been just over a month since I ordered?!)

It's been a while since I posted anything
so I thought of sharing the wig pics I made today featuring the handsome Charles.
I'm very sad that he isn't available anymore
So I cherish mine a lot =^.^=

I'm experimenting with ventilated Kanekalon of different length.

 

So it is my Pancho that arrived. He is still nameless. Hopefully I can paint him on Saturday. Thankfully I had things for him that fit and are his style. Except for the sneakers he is wearing (and is mortified about). The wig is close to what I had in mind (he should have pushed back bangs, but I need to make a wig to be able to do that since I have not found a store one like it yet). It's hard to see his eyes, but they are golden brown.

I'm thinking probably the latter. We all might have to invest in sturdy shields. Though I do agree with Lucky, he does look a little like a puppy, albeit a mad one.

@Lawrichai - Your wig experiments seem to be coming along nicely! Though your model doesn't look so sure. Charles is a gorgeous sculpt!

@LuckyXIII - Ooh congratulations! I can't wait to see what you do with him!

@SteamWitch your guy looks great! I love how mischievous he looks! What size eyes are you using? They're so freaking tiny...I have to put eyes in mine that were previously in a Puki D:
I may have to order him some with teeny irises.
And I thought Pancho and Hansel had tiny eyes.
I can't wait to work on him though....too bad he has no body.

Also I'm seriously wanting a V-05 now....anyone have pictures? All the Granado dolls D:

 

They are 14mm Beetle small iris low dome (might be super small?) XD-02. I love them - no gaps.

KOK sells some of them on eBay but with shipping it's double the price.
