At first I wasn't sure about making a wig longer than his legs, but I figured that in the fairy realm, it wouldn't matter ^^

Just got my mint-green baby dragon (Noola), and my 26cm snow-white Velo fennec-fox. Haven't had a chance to dress them up yet, but I'm very pleased with them.

Already they're showing their own characters, though... I thought Elspeth (Velo) would be a companion for my LTF Kitsune fox-maiden, but I don't think the proportions are right. Elspeth is definitely a young teenager, not a tween. She may end up as the spirit animal for my Luts 46cm anime-style Avagale (Pine sculpt).

@spih How absolutely perfect...a rainforest print! He looks phenomenal in that outfit. You are a very talented seamstress indeed! It totally suits his adorable personality.

I arise from the grave of not paying attention to BJDs for like 5 years to find this new Luts event has Zuzu in some cool colors!

I am a little confused on a few points:
- They only show pink and mint skin in the photos but the other event colors are able to be chosen in the drop down so I assume those are available too?
- Are the faceup choices just showing blushing colors or also dictating what animal parts you get? Like Mong is a face option but none of the makeup choices show monkey parts, so if I chose say makeup D am I getting a doll with a Mong face and poodle parts?

 

@rainbow dash yes, anything in the drop down menu for skin colors is available for order, and the face-up choices just show blushing options. The animal parts that match the sculpt you’re choosing are the parts you’ll receive.

 

Ooh! This is so tempting. A lot of these sculpts haven’t had a release in awhile!

Gotta say I am very tempted to get a lavender Lurus. With just a different ear set I could easily make him the tanuki doll I’ve wanted for so long! (Funny enough Fabric and Friends has him listed as a tanuki but it’s pretty clear he’s a red panda.)

 

I really want to order a Zuzu Delf while they have the fun colors! They seem perfect for fun little critter characters! Your little beans are all so cute and have me wanting to spend more doll money!

 

Little bump to say I went ahead and got a Lurus in Lavender skin on the taller body and a Wolffy Romance in Gray skin on the Type 2 body with the D faceup. Even though I don't have a body for it I reaaaally like that event head and wanted to qualify for it. Lurus is no faceup for now so I can get it a raccoon dog face and body makeup in the future.

 

I ended up rehoming my Aladdin Corgi and bought a blue Lurus with purple makeup (D) instead! I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a fantasy-colored Zuzu~ Can't wait to see what the little cutie looks like, haha! Is Luts wait time still two months or is it longer now?

 

The waiting room seems to indicate it’s running 2 months.

 

I finally took a photo of my lucky cat girl, a full set Miyo named, not surprisingly, Neko-Chan. I’d been wanting a Zuzu Delf for a long time but was having such a difficult time choosing...they’re all so wonderful! But when I found myself needing an Asian-inspired companion for one of my larger girls, this adorable full set was just too perfect to pass up. I fell in love with her sweet chubby face and sunset colors. Fortunately FF&D still had one of these limiteds in stock.

 

@PoeticSoul, she's adorable! And perfect timing, I was just about to see if anyone had pictures of Miyo, since I just ordered one on the Zuzu26 body in orange!

I got the eyes for my girl, they're very sparkly and gorgeous; I'm so anxious waiting for the order to ship even though it hasn't been that long. (I know exactly why, too, I have another order that's been stuck for months and should have been here last year. So now it's making me anxious for new resin!)

i also sad luts says no more or unknow release of extra ears and tal they did it once i should have bough more haha!!!!

also ask luts to have the mir body and have the cat head they say no

Thank you!!! I do my best, I love Zuzu's soooo much!! I need more fantasy-colored ones! My poor lavender Wolffy is more of a lavender-gray now, she's SO old (got her in January 2010)!

@crazykimochi Seeing your super adorable crew makes me tickled pink! Your gorgeous Truffle has always been my absolute favorite, but your lovely new blue girl, Dream, is challenging her status as a very close second. Gotta love that colored resin!

Doe anyone have pictures of the standard zuzu makeup? I'm thinking of getting a Lio in bronze with either a type C or E faceup, and I'm trying to figure out which one would work better with that skintone.

 

I'm so happy, I just put a strawberry pink Rumi on layaway at DDE! Does anyone else have the strawberry pink color? Did anyone order it? I was originally going to get a Zuzu26, but when I saw the little girl in stock at DDE I fell in love. She will be my first foray back into the doll hobby, and I am very excited!

Now I just have to find her some clothes... @-@

I totally missed out on the special little ones because I wasn't really looking. It's great to see them all here on the thread. It's been so quiet. I want to see more cuties!

After reading through all the Zuzu Delf threads here on DoA I kind of bit the bullet and bought a preloved baby that was offered to me. I can't wait for them to come home. I hope I'll be able to bond, they're so different from my current dolls.

 

I'm thinking about adding a Zuzu Persi to the family later down the line and would love to see some pictures from anyone who has one. I'd also love to see a comparison of different resin colors!

 

I finally managed to make a face up for my Zuzu26 Delf Persi. I wanted to keep her simple rather than looking too much like a human wearing heavy make up. She borrowed some clothes for the picture, but she wants something more extravagant. Her name is Bombalurina.

Hi guys! I used to own 2 Zuzu Delf Lio and miss having one ~ so I'm back! Share your Lio pics! X)

 

Wish I could help with the Lio request, but I'm actually interested in that myself. I'm kicking around the idea of getting one for a specific character and I'd love to see what other people have.

Instead I offer Rabi wondering what happened to Velo's poor ear. No idea when that magnet came off, but his other side is loose as well, so that'll need fixing at some point. They've both been wiped in preparation for new faceups and blushing now that the weather is turning, but that's sadly also contingent on my work giving me time to do them...

 

So I posted on luts Q&A asking for another Zuzu Delf free choice color event. They said they will make the suggestion to the team! Maybe if more people ask them, it might actually happen?

 

I don't know what that is, but it sounds dangerous for my wallet...

So Luts is starting a color event tonight starting 11pm PST! I hope Zuzu will be included? I'm ready to buy a R. Lio and R. Wolffy whether it's an event color or white ^^

Good news! All the off-whites, normal and tan skins are available for the event too! I'm so happy

-edit- I ordered a romantic Wolffy in Real Skin White, C faceup, and romantic Lio in Real Skin Peach, E makeup. I think the skin tones will match well with the faceups offered ^^ Looks like a 2-5 month wait (I'm guessing 5, heh). So I'll start making clothes and getting their things ready for when they arrive

I got a Zuzu26 Rumi over the summer but I havent painted her yet...Every time I think ive made up my mind on how I want her I change my mind

Does anyone have spam of Zuzu's with custom faceups?

 

I too would love to see some custom faceup Zuzu's. I got a Zuzu Wolffy in the other day and I already have one of the Zuzu Kong (I forget her sculpt but it's the pig one). Once I figure out some good clothes for my little wolf, I plan to take pictures. Current digging through that what can fit thread for ideas.

 

Excuse the double post but here's my Wolffy and Kong Pig. I still need to name the Wolffy but his little portly companion is Lady Porketta Piggyton. Wolffy is wearing Createable World clothes here.

Bringing this back for the new year. I had two Zuzu26 arrive today. I guess I'm starting a Zuzu army.
Top is a strawberry pink zuzu26 Persi, left is a light tan Wolffy, middle is a strawberry pink Kong pig, and on the right is a snow (zuzu white) zuzu26 Fenny. I'm tempted to mix around the Persi and Fenny's parts.


Next I need a Lio......

Hello! I am wondering if someone can help me

I am trying to shell a character (kikurage) from a manga I love, and this is what it looks like.

It's a demon type animal with horns and fangs but I saw that luts has the pink skin out so I'm wondering if I can get a base animal and do some modding on it! Not sure what sculpt would work? I like how the ears are detachable so I can try to create my own as well.
