my most expensive doll i have currently is my doll leaves noir, but the most expensive one i have on layaway is a dollshe saint $630

 

My Carved Heritage Edan in one payment >< I got him as a double full set (2 outfit sets, boots, & weapons). I ordered him with all the blushing and extra hand parts. Even if I had only ordered a single set he would be pricey XD. And my EID Leonard would have been the most pricey, or is if you count the fact that it took me 3 separate purchases and one months after the first... meaning I did splits for all his stuff and got the doll later... totally blushed ^^... Ya Iplehouse is easy to throw insane amounts of money at ... Doing a split for HID but I have weapons already and only am keeping one outfit otherwise HE would be the highest price lol Ya I've done over 2k on more than one order.

 

My most expensive doll is my Ramiel from IPOPO. Easily over 500 dollars. worth every penny. he is my sweet dead baby. It was still a bit of a shock as i paid through the layaway but than god for layaway or i wouldn't have half my dolls.

 

My Delf Ari Wink was the most, I got her for 700.00 but shipping was high since SD sized boxes are so big and awkward.

 

My most expensive doll is now my DD Miku I just won from the Volks lottery! She costs me 655$. I absolutely adore her--no regrets ;P

 

I'm really cheap with dolls because its hard to justify spending tons of money on basically a toy, so just 300 is already too expensive. But recently i dropprd 400 on two doll zone dolls. I know its not one doll, but its one doll order. I might have to spend that amount too on the next doll that i want, and im just hoping that my resin crew will be done expanding after that.

 

The most expensive doll I have bought was my minifee seorin. He ended up being around $550. All my other dolls were mostly below the $400 mark.

 

Including the customs and shipping, my IOS Lacrimosa was by far the most expensive blank doll. Damn you, customs :c

 

My most expensive doll(s) are a three-way tie. I know that I spent more than $900 on each but I can't recall exactly how much for each one of them. First was my Hewitt the 2nd (head with custom faceup) on the SDCute boy body, purchased from a friend on extended layaway. Second was my F-16 Sunlight skin SD13 boy Rowan, purchased from a friend, also on layaway. Third was also a layaway, and the grailiest of grails for me, my Edward Elric Automail Jerome. I would have paid twice what I did, if I'd had to, to get my Ed.

My MiniFee a la carte BOY (Active Line) was slightly more expensive than my Asella doll.

 

Wow... I would say my Iplehouse Chase would be most expensive but I got him second hand so, he got knocked down to second most expensive. It's Iplehouse Cherie that is my currently most expensive including the shipping price to Alaska! Jeezers. But I know theye won't be most expensive within the next couple years when I get around to getting Akando and Tedro if I don't find them second hand.

 

Definitely my tan MNF Rheia. By a long, totally worth it shot.$671 with included shipping and add her full bust at a separate price; she cost me well over $700. But I love her to pieces.

Twyla, my 2010 IH Luna Tamer girl in grey skin. I managed to get both her feline and human selves, and that is quite the story!

I never thought I'd end up with one, but there was a fullset with both feline and human parts for sale that I followed for nearly a year that was going for $1300. When I came into some money, I finally contacted the seller and offered $1100 for her, but they wanted the full price for her. I thought about it for a couple of days, and then agreed to pay the full $1300 for her. I was heartbroken to find out she had been sold!

So I went looking for another one, and managed to find a human version that literally went up for sale three hours before I found out the first one had been sold. I had also been following sellers of the different feline parts, so I contacted them all and bought what feline parts I needed from them as well.

Not only that, but one of the sellers was selling a Luts/CP Delf Shine, another grail doll, so I bought him in a separate transaction a couple weeks later.

All in all, Twyla cost me a total of around $750 including shipping instead of $1300!

When I posted in this years ago, my most expensive was my SOOM Glati, but since then I bought a SOOM Chrom, secondhand. He was around $800. Then about 4 years later I bought a Dollmore Trinity Klaire... over $2000.

 

My most expensive purchase was Odette,my Volks Lieselotte.
After trying for Lieselotte in previous Dolpa's and losing. I convinced myself that if I didn't win her in the Dolpa 32 I would give up on her. Of course after a month of looking at pictures of her, posted by people who won. I gave in and looked her up on Y!J . The prices were all around 250,000 yen, and they were all in bid wars. So i went into Mandarake . Found a brand new one for 280,000, and I pressed purchase. including shipping and fee's she totaled up to around 300,000 yen (2817usd). No regrets..... I think

 

Pete's my most expensive so far... A la carte MNF boy, then his wig and his eyes... even though I didn't spend much on either, Vince has just kept his default eyes, whereas Pete really demanded something special. Plus I think I've bought him the most clothes at this point. Well... it's close. But I have definitely bought Pete more 'this is specifically for you bough from someone who makes DOLL clothes' pieces, as opposed to 'this was bought at Build-a-Bear, this was made by me, this was a gift, this was supposed to go on a very tiny dog' wardrobe that the other two have. So at any given time, Pete is wearing the most expensive outfit of the three as well.

 

My most expensive doll to purchase thus far has been Arthur, my dream IH Eric. I got him for a steal off of the MP here.

My most valuable doll, a Domuya Marlene was actually gifted to me.

 

Oh my my. My first most expensive doll was my Angell-Studio Amy. I thought she was RIDICULOUS, priced at $300 blank! But I loved her and I scrounged and thank you MoC for layaway and eventually I owned her.

After her, discounting sold dolls, I jumped to my newest Minifee Risse, A La Carte A-Line, small bust, two option hands, heel feet...that was an awful impulse buy that, including matching face-ups for OE and Sleeping heads (I'm one of those people!)...lets round her off to $600~. ^_^ This is forgetting her custom commissioned wig, all-of-the-Raouken corsets...

This is all pretending each doll's clothes aren't going into their total, of course. I'm a clothes hoarder, I feel almost ashamed of how much I have! Four dolls and outfits enough for 20! It's all just so pretty, what they have available, you know?

 

My most expensive doll purchase were my first two MSDs from Mystic Kids I've ordered at the same time. Got them in fullsets since I had no stuff for dolls at home at the moment. If I'm not mistaken one fullset is 333$, so I've payed 666$ + shipping and custom fees. Which is an interesting number when I think about it. And they are my most expensive ones just from the personal value aspect since they were my first and started the collection.

 

I think it's a tie between my MSD from Luts (Romantic Yul) and my MSD from Souldoll (Bonnie). They were both around 300 to 350 euros without clothes. Considering that I actually bought specific glow in the dark eyes, black movable wings and several wigs and outfits, I think in the end my overall Luts doll wins.

 

I have a couple priced at $1000+ I never do the conversion from $ to £ because if I did I'd never buy another doll

 

Currently my most expensive is the boy in my avatar. So nowhere near as expensive as some of the ones listed here. Soon though I will have an adorable pukifee ante arriving and she will be my current most expensive.

 

$130 sd-sized doll for me. I cried a little. I am not used to spending kore than $20 on a doll.

 

Iplehouse SID Stella is the most expensive doll I own. It's good though because the quality is amazing and they are truly beautiful dolls. The price also stops me from going crazy and hoarding dolls & their accessories!

 

My most expensive doll was Volks Charlotte. I paid around $1000 to buy her... but no regrets!!

 

My Iplehouse Rania (full set plus a few extras) my husband bought me. She cost around $1,200 US and since we live in Canada it was closer to $1,500. Can't wait to see her.

 

Reading this thread makes me have so much respect for the people who had to hunt down rare dolls secondhand, especially for the Volks fans because I know that pain of combing yahoo!Japan auctions (but for items far less rare than Volks dolls) and having to pay shopping service fees on top of the auction price

My Dollmore Lusion Royal Floraison Dahlia is my most expensive doll, not helped by the fact I paid for full body blushing and sanding (an extra $300) which priced her as much as a Dollmore Trinity... I didn't want to open her box and regret not ordering blushing, and I didn't think it made sense to order full body blushing without sanding, so one led to another. I knew she would be my grail when I saw her on the Dollmore website though, and have never regretted her one bit.

 

Do dolls who haven't been bought yet but with full intention of buying count? Because so far, while my Dollshe Bernard head was just 120$ including shipping, (though I'll have to add 20-30$ once it arrives because customs... sigh) the body I plan on getting him is gonna cost me 450$, so overall around 600$ :, D

 

The most I've paid for a doll to date was my lottery win of Rin Tohsaka V2 from Volks. I paid about $600 from the Volks lottery. In terms of value though, she or my DD Kos-Mos would be the most valuable I have. I've actually been really lucky about getting dolls for a really good price so far.

 

my most expensive is honestly more in the range of average price for an BJD ^^; my doll chateau lance whom i paid $415 for ^^ all the rest of my dolls have each cost me less then 200 two of which only cost $100 (partly because i get most of my dolls on the used market)
Even though i try my best to keep my spending on any one doll under $300 because i have a lot of other hobbies and responsibilities that i need to see to i just couldn't not grab this one doll because he is my Grail doll ^-^ and the doll that i originally spent many hours staring at when i was first deciding if i should get into the hobby or not ^^ and although i do not regret spending the money to get him and love having him its going to be a while before i spend that much on a doll again ^^;

 

Until now, it is my Lillycat Ellana With shipping I had to spend around $746 But when I saw her in her full beauty, she's worth every penny

 

I only have MSDs at the moment, so the most expensive doll I own is a NobleDolls Raspberry. If I remember correctly, she was around $600 when I bought her secondhand. Totally worth it though! I love her to bits.

UPDATE!! I was unbelievably finally able to purchase a Resin Enchanted Doll !! I adore her. I named her Isabeau. When I purchased her after waiting four years on Marina Bychkova's list she was $3000 US directly from Marina. She arrived in her beautiful tin box, unpainted, with two sets of eyes. She was faced up by the incomparable Angel Toast. As far as a porcelain one, that will never happen. The latest one to be auctioned off sold for over $80,000 USD. She is my dream come true!

My dust of dolls bomi is mine, she cost me $950 blank with absolutely nothing but her carry bag when i got her, she is lovely though!

 

I won a Volks lottery to buy an SD16 Daria, who was my most expensive doll. I no longer have her, but I think she was around $1200 and she was worth every penny. The quality of Volks dolls is incredible, from the resin to the details they put in their outfits.

 

I think Mosura and Ashe are tied with both being around $600 at the time of purchase.
The difference? Ashe is a Dollshe Husky bought from DS through Luts, and Mosura is a tan MnF Shiwoo bought second-hand on the MP.

 

Possibly Switch Mocha Waseon, since I couldn't pay in layaway and had to dump that much cash on him in a single go. Taking the next spots are Soom Chrom with his double jointed hands and Iplehouse Barahan but they could be paid off in layaway so it wasn't that bad.

 

He is on his way. I did a split for a Ringdoll Kylin body with all his accessories and clothes. I wish he came with Ringdoll's jointed hands but oh well. With the Granado Raguel as his head, he will be my most expensive doll yet.
My most expensive head is my Soom Dia vampire elf, but I am so glad I have him, Dia was my final grail. Vampire elf made him even more special.

 

Currently, my most expensive has been a DollZone The Hermit, fullset, at more than 500 euros in total, tax excluded.

My most expensive doll was 300 usd for a bald and nude doll (volks mire). At first I wasn't sure if I should spend so much (my other 2-girls were 200) but I realised I got them just really cheap and 300 is not that much for a volks msd, the others I saw were all over 450 so I felt good about it. But thinking about a 700 euro doll feels horrible o.o I won't be ready to spend so much on a doll yet, it would feel so bad and damage the bonding process.

 

My most expensive up till now was $900 for a Soom Hyperon Rise of War limited that I bought at Dollism New York. He held that title for several years, but I just put a Nabarro Boys Sumner with Dollstown 18yr body on layway. He's going to cost me $1250. Never thought I'd pay that for a doll, but I'm so excited for him!

 

My most expensive doll is one that hasn't even come yet! The doll cost me $350 as a special event price...not that expensive...but...the outfit alone looks like it will be around $135 and this is just for the jacket and shirt (the description does not say what all is included-so frustrating). So then there might be the pants, definitely some boots, a wig and eyes. And maybe if I decide to pay for a professional face up. But this one is special, so I'm saving like crazy!

 

Just 2 days ago i bought my most expensive doll! Souldoll Sean, he was 420$ i must say i bought him in a group order in the EU... so no shipping and tax are payd yet... pray the lords that it wont be 100$+ xD

 

Mine was my Resinsoul Gang, which was about $180 or so, second hand. I actually own a Dollzone Brant too, discontinued, but since he belonged to my fiancé, and I got it for free from her as an adoption, I can't really count it xD But the worth on him would be around.. $400-$450 I think?

 

My most expensive is Switch Holy Soseo. I paid $285 for the head and $380 for the body so around $665 (that doesn't include shipping either). But the most I've spent for a doll that isn't a hybrid is my minifee celine for $425.

 

Not the most expensive ones here, but a Ringdoll Merlin and Miracledoll Ruiyang. I paid them both in full at the same time, wigs and faces, but no clothes since my wallet was already suffering. (Mircaledoll Asael's next on my list, once my wallet recovers.) They cost together around $1,200. I've been haunting the dealer's website nearly everyday since it's at the 3-4 months mark.

I just ordered my most expensive doll at the beginning of this month so i have to wait a long time for her to come in. She is a Luts Betty. My first SD size doll. All my other dolls are smaller. When she comes in, I will have a doll in every size. SD to Tiny BJD.

 

My most expensive doll is Fairyland Minifee Project Liria. When I first saw her pictures I fell in love with her and had to have her. I just got the basic doll....the full set was sold out already. She cost just under $500.00.

 

My most expensive doll was Dollshe Bermann Mr. Fogg. I paied about 5000$ for him in 2010. But I sold him a few years later and my most expensive doll is Volks Michele at SDGr girl body now. I bought her in 2013 before re-release so her cost was 2300$. I will never buy so expensive doll again. XD

 

My Iplehouse Rex. Not even counting all of his accessories (/gulps at the thought), he is the single most expensive doll I have ever owned.

 

So far my most expensive doll was Les Galatées Idylle. I spent around 390$ including shipping on the nude doll, so with the wig and clothes it definitely adds up to at least 450$.

 

The most expensive doll I have bought was my Fairyland Fairyline Momo. With ear and tail parts she was nearly 500$.
But my most expensive doll I own, since the value has gotten up, is my Minifee Liria. I think they go for 700-800$ for a full doll.
