My most expensive doll... Just ordered the limited Linachouchou x Dollheart collaboration Macaron :/ $385 - I'm glad I only like Tinies!

 

My most expensive (that I have at home/has been purchased) is my LoongSoul Zi Xia. I had her cast in the non-environmental resin, which made her a little less expensive but she cost $415 before wig/eyes/extras.

 

My Luts/CP/Delf Sleeping Vamp El head only.

He doesn't have his own body, I intend on having him share a body with one of my other boys. He doesn't have a face up yet, which, I'm going to do myself because I'd be paranoid about losing him in while being shipped.

 

Well, it WAS my Soom Hook (blank, croc and human parts) at $795 (before wigs, eyes, etc.) BUT redoing the calculations he has now been outstripped by my incoming Luts phoenix woman, who, blank, light tan skin, with blushed wings, clocks in at $841. And I said I'd never spend that much again...whoops. >_> Resolutions were made to be broken, amirite? (Please admit I'm right, the little voice in my head wonders where all my financial sense went. XD)

 

The most I've ever spent on a doll was an Elfdoll Special K when he was first released. He was $770.

 

Hands down Trinity Elysia. It's hard to believe I'm spending that much...

 

By the time extras were added/taken into consideration such as shipping and the exchange rate, my Volks SD set me back $850, she is my second doll, and I wasn't planning on getting her so soon after my first, and I was planning on saving up, but then she was restocked on the Volks website, and I happened to have money put aside for a new iPhone, and I thought I have had this money put aside since July with no sign of actually getting the phone any time soon, and I don't know how long she will be in stock for or when she will be restock, plus my current phone still works, why don't I just use that money, and save up for the phone instead

 

My most expensive was and is a FL feeple 65 Roke who cost about $740 after shipping without clothes or make up. I might be strange, because I'm totally shameless about buying dolls--never missed a penny spent or gave it a second thought! But I'm a person who is prone to "buyer's remorse" and tends to freak out about spending as little as 5 or 10 dollars at the store lol. But I never regretted buying any doll! I have 4 SDs with 2 on the way as of now and that doesnt count dolls I've resold.

 

So my previous answer was my Volks Michele - who was my most expensive, all at once. But I have given it some thought since then, and I think the real answer is my Migidoll Ryu. I bought him originally on a Volks SD13 body in an auction I had to be the highest bidder in to win, so he was a small fortune (luckily there was layaway). Then I proceeded to buy him two different bodies. Then he ended up back on the original one. Then I bought him the body he has now, which is the most expensive body I've ever bought. Then I bought him two other heads to play around with, and lately the most expensive eyes I own. So he's really my most expensive doll.

Unless you count Dollmore Kara Klum. I have spent way money on "him" than anything else ever as he's a X7 XD
If that doesn't count enough, add in his wardrobe....which is about all my doll clothes. I buy for him, and the rest get the leftovers.

I never ever thought I'd spend so much on a single doll wig.....or on about 20 wigs. I don't kid. THE WIGS! *drowns in white-blond wigs*

If that doesn't count, he was my first and I only ever bought other dolls because of him. So really, he cost me my whole collection. Jerk.

 

My most expensive dolls are probably my Migidoll hybrid boys if we're not counting stuff I've bought for their characters and just the dolls themselves. xD Each of their heads were $125 and then their bodies are worth about $500 (I got them during an event, though, so the bodies were only $330), meaning their total worth is about $625 but I bought them at $455. That's still my most expensive, though, as of right now. xD

 

My most expensive doll is incoming, a MNF Chloe ordered from DDE. I'm pretty new to the hobby so it was definitely a bit intimidating to order her, but I'm super excited....

My most expensive was a Fairyland Minifee Rin - from the Sheep Story - far after she had already been released and shipped out. Bought her from a group member on another site with the full set, extra pair of feet, and 3 extra outfits. Paid $1200 but she's so worth it. Love her.

 

My most expensive doll is obviously my Soom Ender which is my first doll. He costs about $900. I bought him the clothes, makeup, and accessories but not his shoes. If i did it be around $1000. Even if he is slightly expensive I don't regret it at all.

 

My most expensive would be my most recent purchase, the fantasy version of soom prince charming- with shipping he was about $850 or so? I bought him completely blank/without any clothes too putting him on layaway is helping me justify it, but I definitely know that there are some discontinued dolls I want that will cost me much more if I ever end up getting a hold of them!

My most expensive doll was the Dollzone Star, with 150€+20$ wig...Now around 213$

 

My most expensive doll so far is my Angel of Dream Bo:



He's 90cm tall, and he cost a bit over $500. My second-hand Dollzone Moment is a close runner-up, but he comes about $20 short of Beau here.

In retrospect, my most valuable doll is probably my DZ Moment or my Dream of Doll Kalix. DZ Moments/Ansons and DoD Kalixs seem to go for around $500-$700 second-hand. I paid slightly over $500 for my Moment, but I only paid $250 for Kalix.

 

Both my dolls are pretty much the same price. XD (Ecluding their wigs/clothes/eyes ect.)
Each one is a Dikadoll msd so around 300-ish bucks?

 

I would say about a little over $400 including shipping.

My most expensive is definitely my Iplehouse Leonard. He was almost $1000 dollars on the dot with the shipping added in.

 

Probably my Volks Chii. I got her in parts, but the head alone was $500. Add a body, wig, etc., and it soon topped $1000.

 

This is my story nearly to the letter. Even the same doll! The only differences is that I was in the hobby when he came out and didn't want the fullset so foolishly waited for a general release which never happened. I kicked myself for that decision for YEARS. But I finally got him last year, so that story had a happy ending.

My Jinwoo and my fullset F65 Angela came out nearly the same in cost, including shipping. I don't know if I can really compare them, though. I bought just the doll with the Jinwoo, and the Angela was a fullset.

 

My SD13 F-16 girl is probably the most expensive in my collection, and I absolutely have never regretted it. The runner-up would be my EID Tedros Circus Master. He's not a full-set, but he did come with the scruffy face-up and default wig.

The Ciel I saw on ebay was sold around 2500$ Looking at that link, I feel like it's sooo much cheaper, and even affordable even if it's actually still too expensive.

My most expensive doll has been probably Luts senior65 doll with face-up and body-blush added. But his price ranks closely with the current Soom one I have on layaway with about 50$ difference.

 

definitely my Doll Chateau Elizabeth, I got her with the face up and blushing during the event at DDE and it all totaled to be around $600. Totally worth it, she is my baby and I love her.

My most expensive doll is an hybrid. The head was $400 and the body was $1000+ (Volks =_=). The bad thing is that I want to sell this doll but I don't think I will get what I paid.

 

the most expensive doll I've ever bought is easily the RD Jack the Ripper Fullset. He would up costing 1100 CAD, shipped, cause the exchange rate was terrible. Still worth it...

 

My Dollstown Amy was 637 including shipping. My others are less expensive. I don't know if I could spend more than that on a doll xD...

 

I think my Doll Leaves hybrid with migidoll will be the most expensive when its DONE.

The most I've ever spent on a doll was about $400 total since I bought the head and body separately. A lot of the dolls on my wishlist are over $600, but I haven't been able to justify getting them yet. One day....

 

Mine was the original Soom Vesuvia MD... Wow that girl gets pricey.... I honestly didn't hesitate though since I had been wanting her for years. Thankfully she is/was the only doll on my list that goes for that kind of money so I won't have to pay so much for the others... a lot in many cases yes, but not THAT much...

 

I don't have any dolls yet but the doll I will be hopefully getting is $760 ( Iplehouse E.I.D Ashanti ).

 

For now, it'll be the Volks SDGr Okita Souji I bought earlier in June. He was $1,520 including shipping. I'll have to send him out for a new face up soon too, since I don't quite like his default, so there's also the cost for that.
The rest of my crew have never gone past the $1,000 line before...

An individual in my local area posted his SOOM Grey on Facebook for sale. I fell in love with that doll prior to his post, so, of course, I had to buy him. $800 for an almost complete full-set, minus his shoes, with a custom face up...Totally worth it! ^.^

Well I just bought my ultimate grand daddy holy grail of dream dolls! Resin Enchanted Doll Asian sculpt by Marina. I paid $5,000 second handed! It's a little intense but she's only releasing 100 more and probably not going to sell anymore resin... I can only see their price going up! I can't believe I am one of the lucky owner! I wish i could afford one of her porcelain bjd but her Cinderella sold for something like $72,000... That's just insane! So I guess resin one is just as amazing to me

 

My most expensive is actually my first resin that I ordered in November. April Story Stella with Junior body, heel feet, and face-up. Cost a little under $500. Not that much compared to others, but still more than my other OT dolls.

 

My most expensive is my first BJD, that I am still waiting for - Minifee Chloe. 511$ with shipping - let's not forget additional custom fees (hope not), wigs and etc to complete the doll

It should be my RSDOLL Dev... I don't buy dolls from speculators, so he should be the most expensive doll I bought. I was planning to buy Yeon-ho from Crobidoll after meeting Yeon-ho at Crobidoll's booth, but then I saw Dev on RSDOLL website and he is more close to the character I wanted, so I bought him through agent immediately.

Second should be my The-B from Dream of Doll... I think Ducan is more handsome but The-B and his touching story are more attractive to me.

However, the highest selling price one should be volks DDDy Sasara. I was very lucky that I won her lottery. The prices in Yahoo auctions are so crazy... I am happy that she chose me. >///<

 

Prolly my newest doll, a grail of mine. I've spend around $1k on him (Volks, so no suprise there) and he'll need a new face-up, wig and eyes so those will all add to the cost.

But the most I've spend on a doll is probably my Unoa Chibi, he came with 5 faceplates and 4 pair of hands and with all the face-ups/customization done on him, the total cost is around $1.5k.

 

My Souldoll Zenith Robb, easily. None of my other dolls even came close to his price. I forget the exact amount, but it was a lot. I don't see myself ever spending more on a doll than I paid for him, either.

 

My most expensive would be my first doll. Mainly because i paid around 200USd for him. But thats just a first doll. I know there will be more in the future for sure

 

For just the blank and nude doll, that would be my tan Feeple60 Celine, and she takes the lead because of the upcharge for tan resin. But she's the only doll I actually did buy blank, the rest have company faceups. If I include company faceups, my first boy cost the most, my Luts Senior Delf Karis. And he only cost the most because I ordered his girlfriend during Little Monica's 15% off event, or else she would have been the most expensive Three out of my four dolls are all very similar in price range with those faceup/resin color costs and event discount making the difference between them, so if I really got into every little thing I've spent on them I'm not sure who would come out on top.

 

My most expensive BJD will be my RSDoll M. Ruty. Though my Ruty hasn't come in yet and he is one of the less expensive brands, he is the first doll that I have bought brand new since my first doll (that I have since then sold).

 

I don't think I will spend that much on a doll before quite a long time: my Suzette from La Compagnie des Radis is the most expensive doll I ordered, a bit less than 500€ for a 22cm doll (with clothes but no make-up). No regrets

 

My Volks SD17 body has been my most expensive "doll" XD I got it for a Soseo head, the story goes like this...

I was actually in love with Soseo in Mocha Brown but he was out of stock. I saw someone was selling the head in normal skin for $400, double the retail price but I was impatient and fell in love with the face up. However, when he came home I didn't really like the face up in person and gave him one of my face ups. I got him a Volks SD17 body for $1250 *ouch* but I always wanted a Volks SD17 body and I heard they were a good match with Switch skin color. In the end, my Soseo in NS was $1650 (oh and I got him jointed hands for $80 so add that as well) and I love him so much so it was worthy. A year later, Switch released my grail, Soseo in mocha brown and he was about $950. I'm happy with both and even though I spent way more on the same doll in NS, I'm happy with my decision because I love the Volks SD17 body, I think it is more elegant than the Switch 65cm body.

 

Even though he is on layaway, my most expensive doll will be my Dollzone Gray Fullset at 700$, not counting extras.
