Your doll's posing - the Craziest, most Unexpected, or Advanced/Extreme Poses!

I put Odette on the bench while I attended to something else and she struck this "waiting-patiently" pose which I found pic-worthy:



And these two had just finished a photo shoot; I left the room and when I came back they were giving me this "no more pictures, please" attitude:

 

Elias tends to be my some-what dramatic one. After plopping him down to stand for a photoshoot, his arm swung behind his head and he did the stereotypical DZ hip-thrust pose.



One can almost hear him humming Right Said Fred songs in his mind....

 

Does it count if I had to fight a whole heck of a lot to get Prophet into this pose? xD;;

 

and theyve never been able to pose like this since lol

 

Haven't been able to get her to do it again since.

Aiden had just gotten his new shirt so took him out for a quick photoshoot and when I started posing him, his hands did this and I was all like: "KYAAAAAA!!! SO CUTE!!!" And I took a picture of it.

I attempted to do a doll tower out of boredom XD;



Don't mind the messy desk and the shelf on the desk did nothing to help support them. Very proud of my dolls

 

I wanted to try this piggy back thing. xD It was so windy outside!!! @_@ They almost fell over but never did. xD

Kaleb was never really that great a poser before, but I finally mustered up the courage (After nearly two years of having him!) to unstring him to give him a nice thorough cleaning~ When I restrung him, he posed so much better! =D You can't really see in the first photo that he's truly balancing on one foot, not near enough the couch for support (Not that it would support him, it's super lightweight~). I was proud of him XD!



And not that you can see it in the rediculously dark cellphone snap, but his toes aren't actually touching the surface of the table either~ I could fit my metal ruler between his foot and the table. :3



There was a bit more undignified posing, but I got him to hold his other leg up better~

 

This I did almost two years ago. I'm a responsible doll owner, I swear.


My friend forgot Milo's boots at her house so eventually we found out he poses magnificently without shoes.


He looks so enthusiastic about his new found talent. Really, just look at that face. It's got overjoyed written all over it.


And this one just makes me lol.

 

Hansel fell over while I was trying to get him to look like he was pushing himself up off the floor. I went with it and as a result, got this beautiful shot that will always be one of my favorites.


My friend (Iremiel)'s Resinsoul Mei fails at standing on her own. Every once in a while something amusing comes from it.

 

This was their first photo shoot! Horrible hair on my blue boy Rea, but even though hes a butt munch he has a soft side. Rea's arm and hand just fit under his red headed boy-toy just so nice Finger twirled around the hair and everything

 

I just laid her in there and her foot got stuck, i left it because it was just tooo perfect (sorry for lack of eyes, i am out of putty)

 

I was cleaning my room, so I moved Enaë. And when I looked at her,
she had such a human pose !!!

This is my hobby...to test the limits of what my dolls can do.

 

I was like lol when this happened.

 

Because of how much taller Davan (80cm) is than Kevya (60cm) this pose was actually incredibly hard to get.


Craziest pose is probably this. Puki. No adhesive used, he's just holding on to the string he's got around his body and rappelling down the side of my fridge.

 

"WAAAH!!!" makes a perfect title for this one, especially the hands and glancing/surprised eyes... and I couldn't have planned her reaching hand.

 

Here's Xander. I stood him up and hadn't even tried to pose him yet, and his arms just sort of went like this. It looked like he was trying to rub his eye.

This happens to me all the time. It's how most of my photoshoots evolve, with each pose suggesting the next part of the "story." Most recently, I'd pulled Pook out for an ABC shoot, made him a quick keffiyeh, did the shoot...then just plunked him into Wiishu's chair for the rest of the day. Time comes to go to bed, I'm falling on my nose, I reach for him...and there's this little sultan. I couldn't resist. Pulled out the camera, took the pic...and a dozen more as he brandished his scimitar about. No careful thought behind the posing.


And then there's the time he fell off the CD turntable and got stuck in the groove (I did push his leg farther into the groove before going after the camera...for safety.)

 

I was trying to pose akira and he wasn't cooperating so I went to grab his brother to see if they couldn't hold each other steady so I grab his twin and turn around and somehow akira's hands were up in the air hovering in front of his face and his eyes seemed to be looking through his fingers at me like "peek-a-boo I see you!" so I grabbed my camera to snap a quick pic and with the flash it came out even more awesome with his red eyes shining through!

 

I thought it would be fun to see some dollies doing acrobatics! Lets see some flips! Some splits! Handstands! What can your dollie do? Here are some of mine!

I had some fun posing my Soom Neo AngelRegion imda 3.0 Gian (Who is single-jointed), and my Angell-Studio Kimi (who did it all in high heels!)

I was trying to get a shadow to fall on him wearing the new hood I made but this showed up in the picture. I tried to recreate it but couldn't I have no idea where the creepy shadow came from.

When dolls lose their heads and pieces for faceups and other modifications it's amazing what their bodies will get up to?

My own contribution

It was actually quite hard to balance him into this position:



But I wanted a 'going down on one knee' position. Now all it needs is a ring in a box!



And when trying out poses with a new doll.. It was quite difficult to keep her in this particular pose. Because the upper legs were not inside the bottom of the body anymore, haha. It wanted to pop back.

 

I was pretty surprised putting my Pukifee like this and was even more surprised when she STAYED upright for the picture
