Your doll's posing - the Craziest, most Unexpected, or Advanced/Extreme Poses!

Well..



I sadly don't have a full-body shot, but Timo was kneeling with one hand down for support while Fleur was balanced on the toes.. And on Timo ofcourse! XD

 

My husband can get Shiro to hold just about any pose.

this is not really a crazy pose, but it took me forever to make Kairi stayed in the bow down position.

 

this pose was a total suprise for me. I tried to get her to stand straight up but her legs kept bending suddenly she was standing balanced like that. Its not very crazy I know but still.. had to put mine in (excuse the face/hairless doll, she feels much better now)

 

took me a LONG time to get the two of them like this, a pigg back right on the sholders, It worked the night before on my desk but I'm guessing wood didnt cling well with uriel's shoes so he kept being retarded.:

Well, not very crazy but XD!? Nefaretabi and I were pretty damn excited to have gotten this:


I've also gotten Jacques to bend over completely at the waist, which is thrilling because Jacques is usually kind of unsteady on his feet x'D

 

I'm terribly uncreative and haven't tried many amazing poses with my boys, but here are a few decent ones.

Crappy title, I know... but I would love to see some poses if your doll that makes you go: 'Waah I've GOT to have this on a photo~!' Things you never seen him/her do, until you played with them for once en then suddenly... well you know what I mean...

I'll start with mine. The pic is crappy, bad lighting + in front of PC, but I just adore the pose (for everybody who isn't seeing it: Mitsu is standing on one straight leg, and one just a little bit bend...) I don't really know how he did it, but he did it ^^;;

This was from a really old photoshoot of Heisa's. XD I loved the poses then and i still love them now~

 

Sannru pretty much put herself in this one... I was trying to get her to stand up straight and she insisted on turning and leaning into Falcon. It was sweet.



This one was also more or less accidental. I was just happy to get Crane standing on such uneven ground.



I really like the poistion of Jen's hands in this one...



This one was the result of Chanter refusing to stand up and leaning over against a tombstone...



The shot was the result of my leaning Amber against the brick wall pretty much randomly while I tied his shoes.



The result of sitting Teacup down on a park bench during his first trip out for pictures...



... and what happens when a (very) floppy Kosetsu tries his best to slide down the trunk of a tree instead of standing up like I want him to...

 

I must say she isnt a great poser...her hip joints are too smooth...

There's actually kind of a story behind this one, and it's one of the reasons I love this guy so much. I was on here one night, and I hate to admit, this site depressed me sometimes. Everyone's dolls are so beautiful, and....well, I was just down that I couldn't get Gabriel any really nice things or a new friend (the poor boy'd been so lonely till he met Yoshin)
He had been sitting in my lap, and I had to do soemthing, so I just sat him on the desk beside me. After a few more minutes of angsting, I looked over at him, and this is how he was posed. It was like he was reassuring me that it was okay, he could wait as long as he needed to for a friend, and that I shouldn't let it get to me. Needless to say, I had to whip out the camera and capture it.

At the time Masa's stringing was verrrrrrrrry weird. His legs would buckle under his own weight and his arm stringing is too short. I put Sen on his back just for a lark and well...

 

I guess this 3 pose she makes me go WAH!!..

I can say DOD's leg are the most kicking cause she always kicks and hardly can bend her legs without falling or bending all up!

 

I have a few...

I was watching late night tv with Kaito, we were both laying on the lounge and I was snuggled around him...anyway I got up to get a drink and when I looked down he had fallen into this position (I thought it looked like he had fallen asleep! ^_^)


I was trying to pose my two boys play fighting with one another (Shreds is fresh from the box lol) and they fell into this position...the only thing I moved was Kaito's hand to rest on Shreddie's hip.

I'm sure these are cross-posted somewhere, but these are my favorite accidental poses.
Here I was just messing around with trying to get my lati girl to pose at all (her stringing was pretty bad at the time.) And lo, they stood on my squishy mattress. They even let me get off the bed to get the camera. I was shocked.

After that I got on the floor and tried to see how I could pose them together. I was trying to make them do the piggyback thing, but they slid into..this.

Your doll knows Horton Technique!!!!! It took me years of modern dance training to get a side tilt that good, (and I bet he can hold it for longer than I can too ) And I have the AS art book he's standing on too...

Anytime one doll holds another is pretty cool. But when he holds him straight out of the box, and the other is over half his size...

 

I forgot about my doll tower, no contest to the former, however. That's frikken amazing.

 

And some content. Getting Toby to crouch... which took way too long and we decided that, unless PERFECTLY balanced and with at least three planets aligned, DM Kids can't crouch very well.

He fell over a few seconds after this was taken.

Aria is the only doll I have that can do this and look up (I managed to get Erebos to do it but I had to pop his chest joint out and he still slipped and fell on his face XD)

 

Decided to try out some poses with my two favorite boys. Nalin my new boy is a B&G afra, and Shinki is a MNF woosoo.


Nalin was really easy to get into this pose... o.O I merely plopped him down like that.


He just looks cool like that. ^^


He actually isnt touching anything that would help him stay standing on one foot.


Then Shinki had to give it a try.


He managed for about six seconds then did this. XD


Then he recovered and relaxed in his favorite pose.

I was trying to pose Julian on the chair but when I set him down on his knees I saw this and had to snap a shot. x3


Zephyrus would not stop standing with his knees together(stupid hip joint..) so we made it look like he had to use the bathroom. x3;;


In this one I just set him next to me on my blankets and loooved the way he posed. x3


When Eve's body first came, I stood her up for the first time and it looked like she was trying to drop a curtsy. x3
