Your Dolls' Backstory... In Five Sentences or Less

Even though I don't have Force yet, I still gave him a backstory. Here it is!

Force is the son of a rockstar and groupie turned rockstar who were murdered during a concert while on tour. Because of this, Force has trouble with making deep and strong connections with others. However, he has found good friends in his friends Rudy and Charlotte and he's on good terms with his adoptive father, Mr. Bylund.

 

(Codename) T. Quincy:
He's the boss of agents Cliff and Neil, who work for the illegal underground company called KOBOI labs.
He leads them to find and kidnap a semi-organic android named #022847 / Rei Toei.
He loves kaiseki ryori, ryokans, fancy clothes and young beautiful boys.
He's a cold, egotistical boss with no conscience who knows his way around the big world and who can control his passion as well as himself.
Thomas Quincy was very consistent when it came to covering his tracks, so we don't know enough about him.

 

The dolls I had have changed characters and I've gotten some new dolls since I answered to this thread in 2015, so I thought I could write a whole new thing because I really love writing silly little sentences to explain my characters xD

• Lianda. She's a short-fused, 600-years old vampire. She's got brother issues. She's got enhanced physical abilities and healing factor. She can see scenes and hear sounds from the past when touching objects. She's in love with a certain Doctor.
  
• Stephen. He's the almighty Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. He's got all sort of tricks under his sleeve. He's got a phantom dog that saved his life once. He's still trying to figure out his work-life balance. He's in love with a certain vampire.
  
• Ro (WIP). She's a sassy mutant. She controls the weather. She's married to a king who worships her, but their royal agendas keep them apart. She's a friend you can always count on. She looks her best in black leather and gold.

• Peralta. She's a kind adult anthropomorphic giraffe. She's a shaman for the moon goddess. She knows how to use plants and minerals. She was transported through an inter-dimensional gate. She's got a new family now.
  
• Murphy. He's a shy juvenile anthropomorphic bat. He's the son of his species' goddess. He loves collecting and sorting out precious stones and other minerals. He was transported through an inter-dimensional gate. He's got a new family now.
  
• Illack. He's a grumpy adult anthropomorphic wolf. He was the chief of the thieves' guild. His best friend was the chief of the pirates' guild, a servant of the sea goddess. He was pushed into an inter-dimensional gate. He's got a new family now.

 

Welllllll it’s been so long since I’ve done this that all my characters are different. Let’s do some of the highlights:

Aura: was the lucky twin who got the less traumatic part in a magical twin study. Majored in history and inter-realm policy. Got dragged back home by her (evil god) father, and later deported to another plane to die. Broke a leg, met and started dating an assassin. She only came back home when it was needed to save her girlfriend.

Amor: She was the unlucky twin in the magical unethical twin study. She also got stuck in a primordial darkness sensory deprivation prison, where she met and communicated telepathically with her eventual girlfriend. Her girlfriend died and became the emissary of a synthetic god, called The Thing That Sees, which was cool and all but left Amor alone. She got out of prison, helped her twin to kill her dad and finally got to be her own person. She’s still searching for her girl out there somewhere.

Shrike: the goddess was recruiting for elite soldiers, and she applied underage. She got the job, and trained up, and eventually most of her squadron was killed and she was captured. After being tortured for information she didn’t yield, she was rescued by her best friend, and promoted to the head of her squadron. She now has chronic pain from the injuries and spends her days battling dragon poachers. Her girlfriend is the daughter of an enemy god, and that got Complicated As Hell.

Valentine: a nonbinary lesbian with a penchant for knives. He spent eight years human but addicted to vampire blood, being kept as a servant to a vampire. He figured out how to sire himself, and saved himself and the other blood-addicted humans that were there. He then founded a night club, renamed himself, and dyed his hair bright red. After briefly being kidnapped by vampire hunters, he ended up living with his kind of-girlfriend.

Vidania: she started off a shadar-kai that moved to the material plane for college, and majored in Cleric. While she was there, she fell madly in love with a girl who hurt her quite a lot. When this girl died, Vidania was killed as well, resurrected, and spent eight years tracking down the people responsible for her ex-wife’s death. Her ex wife was resurrected, and nearly caused an apocalypse, which Vidania had to stop. Now she’s a travelling healer, and she’s seeing a girl who treats her like she’s everything.

 

Candell used to be fey royalty. She was so cruel that her subjects pleaded with a goddess to get themselves out of their misery. Turns out said goddess had a wicked sense of humor, and turned the whole court into an eternal circus for her own amusement.

 

Amara

Abandoned by her impoverished family and adopted into a wealthy West London household, Amara grew up under the emotional abuse of her mother. She found refuge in art and academics, eventually fast-tracking her way into a career as a celebrated New York art curator, earning millions. Along the way, she also taught art history at a university—where a troublesome student would later become the love of her life. But Amara’s past caught up to her when it was revealed that she had sabotaged an ex-girlfriend’s art career and sold a forgery, ending her own career overnight. By the end of the story, Amara rediscovers the joy that first drew her to art, choosing instead to live modestly while funding and developing art therapy programs for her community.

Cori

Cori grew up in North Carolina with little attention at home, finding her closest bond in a best friend she met in middle school, where the two became inseparable troublemakers ever since. After dropping out of college, she launched an OnlyFans until burnout left her spiraling into debt. Desperate to marry into wealth, she charmed her way into an elite circle where she crossed paths with Amara—her old professor—and decided to blackmail her into becoming her mentor. Though their relationship was not without its bumps, over time they fell in love and established a D/s dynamic. Cori eventually found her calling in style consultation and went on to build a successful career.

 

Both of my dolls are still in process and their stories are evolving, but here's where we're at now!

Zhang Tian (living) / Jun Jie (ghost): Jun Jie is a ghost king who rules over a small empire of pleasure barges and a few shoreside areas. In life they were born to a peasant family, and enlisted in the army out of admiration for the divine crown prince. When the divine crown prince went wild and mistakenly massacred his own soldiers in addition to the enemy, Zhang Tian was killed. The intense betrayal they felt resulted in a strong resentment that formed their ghostly self, and made them strong enough to be a ghost king. Bent on revenge on the crown prince who killed them, they worked hundreds of years to track them down and gather related memorabilia, but after meeting them again, they're frustrated by their own inability to kill the crown prince, due to the prince's ascension to godhood.

Su Baolan: Su Baolan is a jiangshi (similar to a vampire, but more flesh-eating) who is a sort of freelancer -- he will do whatever odd jobs need doing, either from one of the ghost kings, if requested, or on his own. He is currently traveling with a doctor/scientist who uses him for experiments in return for Su Baolan regularly being fed by him or from victims they work together to take down. They are sort of dating, maybe, but Su Baolan doesn't necessarily see it in the same way, and is kind of assuming they're just using each other for convenience still, since he is not used to being seen as a person.

 

Aiyu: Local legendary hero is burnt out from the endless cycle of reincarnating and Doing Her Best only to lose many people she cares about. Gets sucked into a pocket dimension owned and operated by eldritch abominations so she can get some gosh dang rest for once.

Eden: Local demigod goes on murder rampage over the object of his desire, gets sent to the Torment Nexus as punishment to prevent him from killing the gods and crowning himself supreme ruler of the universe.

Ingrid: Totally normal goth girl is sacrificed to the gods in the woods to keep her town afloat. Is fairly salty that she can never return to her home dimension or she'll immediately kick the bucket.

Marcie: Mindless thrall rediscovers her humanity through the power of Lesbians and Horses, more at 11.

Khadija: Blind woman peers behind the veil, is consumed by madness and turned into a celestial jailer and scribe as punishment. Now considers herself the director of an unruly troupe of unfortunate actors collected from some of her favorite stories of various universes.

Phoebe: Young eldritch abomination takes on an approximation of human flesh so that she can make friends. Is probably the only one both happy to be here and not deeply traumatized, little ray of sunshine.

Nysus: Man Doomed by the Narrative finally gets the chance to experience full breadth of love with fated soulmate, is shocked to learn that she has issues because her original version of him already died.

Mina: Local witch in toxic yuri with werewolves, may or may not survive the experience.
