Your Dolls' Backstory... In Five Sentences or Less

He is two-faced. He is half dragon and half human. He pretends he likes everyone and looks really friendly but is actually really selfish. He changes into a dragon only when he is REALLY angry or when he is excited. Lastly, he is a diva fashionista.

 

Talfryn Retallick (Ooak Minimee elf head + Limhwa Mano body)

A gentle warrior from an earlier elven age. He was scarred in battle, probably by a dragon. He's deeply in love with his lady fair, Harmony de la Couer. He's strong enough to fight for what he loves & good hearted enough to negotiate if possible.

Clowtilde (Fairyland LTF Chiwoo sleeping head on Planetdoll mini mermaid modded body)

Clowtilde is another one of 'mad scientist' Dr. Ami's creations. No one is sure if she's a coral snake or milk snake naga. Dr. Ami also sought to give her the power to turn mortals to stone, like the mythological Medusa. Unfortunately it didn't work, and Clowtilde can only turn mortals to plaster.

 

My English teacher always praised me for my ability to make run-on sentences not seem like run-on sentences... Though he chastised me for using the trick too often.

Anyways!

Peppermint:

A minor Dream God/Daemon, he is one of the younger (but not THE youngest, as he always likes to point out) Oneiroi brothers, responsible for tending to the dreams of children. He travels the world extensively, conjuring up sweet dreams for the littlest ones and collecting lost toys - lost dreams - to take them to a little haven he build for them in Erebus. Though he has one friend in the form of a giant space whale named Slate, he yearns for a human friend too; he leaves little messages in all of the dreams he tends to, in hopes that one day he can come across a child who can answer his call.... (HA! That is 4 sentences)

 

Atla:
Was born Faolin Staross. Changed his name when he was kicked out for being gay. Decided to move to a big city and become a fashion designer. Still in need of a boyfriend.

Hades:
Demi-god named for his father. Was sent to earth because he abused his powers and was overly selfish. Still hasn't really found his niche in the world, currently looking for some place to belong. Also looking for love.

 

In Edo period Japan, Hibari was killed by one of his own (envious) subordinates on the battlefield. Given a second chance at his life by the gods, he was resurrected as a sort of vampire who must share his body with a demon until he can find a path to nirvana and rejoin his soul to the wheel of life. In the meantime, his trail of odd jobs over the next few centuries landed him on the wrong side of right, and he fled Japan to avoid problems with the yakuza. Today, he works for the Temple of the Corpse Herder as a translator, guide, and bodyguard. He has a lukewarm romance with one of his superiors there.

 

Oh man, I have to do this for my favorite Martian, Max:

Max is a Martian Civil Defense member living a quiet life alone after the Revolution that set his and all the other Martian colonies free from the grip of the Earth Federation. He was injured while serving as a member of the CD, and thus has a bad right leg. He also has a crippling fear of elevators due to the bunker elevator he was riding in dropping several floors then stalling for nearly half a day. Currently, he works as an accountant for a medical/scientific supply company while teaching disaster preparedness on the side.

Audrey was born in a small german town and lived with her parents until she was a teenager, but due to a tragic accident after they moved to America, she lives alone, supporting herself. Now she works at a cafe`/bar and attends school when she can. When she has free time she is pestered by one of her collegues/friends who is quite essentric and always suggesting things for Audrey to do (and possibly get in trouble). She's learning to trust people again and not house herself up in her apartment, but she's also extremely strong-willed and looking for her partner.

 

Interestingly enough I'm greatly aggrieved that BuddyDoll closed its doors without whisper and I therefore lost all chances at getting THEE perfect doll for my character, Saturn.

Saturn is tall, thin, and cocky; always smirking. As the founder of an underground vigilante organization, he much enjoys the suffering of his "debtors." Cigarettes and tramps are his two favorites things, but nothing ever comes before family, and he always puts business before pleasure.

 

Lir: He is a Prince who will become a King, and he's just come home after nearly two years away to find his family and friends decimated by war. He's brought with him a strange new friend who's sworn himself to Lir's service. Now, Lir must become a King, or lose his kingdom, his people and what remains of his family, forever.


Kevya: He was a slave for so long he forgot how to be human, until Lir freed him and brought him out of hell. Now he's a stranger in Lir's Court, with his friend the one familiar anchor in an utterly new world.


Elinore: A war took her father and older brother, and left her leading their ruined kingdom, unsure of who to trust. All the men around her saw her as a weak woman or a link to the throne. Now Lir, her remaining brother, is home, and must become King, if she has to push and shove and drag him to greatness.

Antares Abraxas Astegiano. Soom WS Dia.

Son and heir to a Chicago crime syndicate boss. Has every intention of bucking the system and turning the crime family into something more legit. Has these intentions because he is, unknowingly, an incarnation of the archangel Michael. Has no idea that the current job he and his crew are on, will lead him to a much larger evil than organized crime.

Is gunna kick some ass in his pressed suit and polished shoes.

 

Ambrose - Dollzone Floy

Ambrose is half demon and half elven. He is a rather unusual demonic hybrid even then, because he has some healing powers. Ambrose tends to not really give too much of a shit what happens to him since he can't do much to change his life at this point. After all, he lives in hell and he's not getting out anytime soon. But at least he has his mate Lucius~

 

Zevran
Hao - Angel of Dream

A misunderstood schizophrenic who spent most of his life in an "asylum". Dispite what others told him, he is not crazy and did not belong in such a place. Now he tends to spend most of his time outdoors and is very reserved and distant. He has a brother named Sebastian who he bickers with frequently. He isn't very easy to befriend.

 

Patrick - A demon hunter. Used to be the kind to sleep around and flirted with each guy he saw on the road but stopped once he met C. They went through a lot, but eventually stopped at being a happy married demon hunter couple. He lost his eye in a fight against succubi which he got it replaced with a mechanical one.

 

This is interesting. Lelite, like you, I uses run-on sentences and brackets often,and had been critised by my teachers for that. I'll try not to do use run-on sentences here.

Livna is a physically and mentally fragile child who could be faulted for her excessive cruelty. Her personality fluctuate from sadistic to gentle and calm to arrogant to paranoid and insecure. This makes her look like she have split personality, which is untrue since she simply doesn't love herself enough to settle on one personality. She hails from the large, ancient and royal Calandre family, notorious for its beauty, intelligence, but also for the mental instability present in many (but not all) of its members. One mostly consistent trait about her is her love for singing, and she has an exceptional voice.

Loki:
Loki is a skater punk from SoCal, with a smartass attitude and love for music. He pretty much raised himself after his abusive dad deserted him, his sister and mother. After quite a bit of heartbreak, he finally met Spencer, accepted that he's bisexual and married him 3 weeks later. They now have a son, Zack and plan to live happily ever after. He currently works as assistant manager in a music store and is in a punk band called Dysfunction with three of his best friends.

Amir:
A modern descendant of an ancient Pharaoh, Amir's childhood and teen years were tragic, as everyone he loved passed away or left. He was a hermit for a few years, then met a few people, including Loki (who he moved in with) and his ex-boyfriend, who was very manipulative and nearly destroyed him. He has since found love - twice- in his husband Mikko and boyfriend Quinn. He has recently quit his job with a secret detective agency and has bought a Hookah Lounge, night club and art gallery with his best friend (and Loki's husband), Spencer.

 

Chaeri was born in Haenam, South Korea, but when she was six months old her parents emigrated to Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. She and her mother were very close until Chaeri was hit by a bus at the age of twelve--and she didn't die. She spontaneously developed the ability to absorb and redirect kinetic energy--and her black hair turned a very light highlighter pink. Her mother disowned her because she was a mutant "freak". Now she lives with her grandparents above a bookstore/coffee shop and is working to be a stand-up comedian.

 

Agamemnon Lambros:
Born to an incubus father and succubus mother, Agamemnon's parents were executed by United States Paranormal Investigations agent, Aegidius Lambros, when he was an infant. However, the agent took pity on the immature demon and took him under his own wing, becoming an adoptive father to the boy. Agamemnon was taught to fight his demonic urges and became a Paranormal Investigations agent himself, despite the agencies protests. In the year prior to the story's, Aegidius went missing while on a mission and was declared dead. The agency, now holding all authority over Agamemnon, demoted the demon and assigned him to the medial task of observing a small community of nature spirits.

Stanley:
This infant nature spirit was separated from his family when the forest they guarded was decimated by a logging company. The owners of, what could be called, a halfway house for nature spirits found the tiny spirit and took him in.

 

Lillian (LUTS Annette)

She is an illegitimate child who was orphaned at a youngage.Her red hair and mysterious background earned her the lastname "feuerkind".
A fire at the orphanage (though it was not her fault) earnedher the scorn and ridicule of the town and she became an outcast.
Fortunately, after a few years of living off the land, shewas found by a fairly uppity scholar who was so interested in the reason behindher persecution, he took her to get healed and kept her around.

 

Lapis Lazuli
When the dragon known as Peridot began to plague the people of Taigaan, the ancient druids were called upon to curse the wretched creature. Just as she destroyed the homes of the Taigs, so her home was destroyed, and just as she slaughtered the children of the Taigs, so her nestlings were slaughtered. Just as the old pen gave up on having small dragons of her own, she laid a single egg. Out of that egg came the ultimate revenge of the Taig people: a small, pink, fleshy humanoid. Neither dragon, nor human, the child serves as a constant reminder of the fragile lives she destroyed.

Rowan of Bride
Bride of Lark knew that her people would never survive the invasion of the Claughdeil army, so she gave herself to the king in exchange for peace between their peoples. When the young tribe leader discovered herself with child, she implored the druids to bless her baby so that the child she carried would never have to face the humiliation that she'd faced in becoming the King's bride. It was not the God of Victory which answered the Druid's prayers, however, but the dying twins of justice, Mercy and Retribution. Knowing that this may be their only chance to survive, they fused themselves to the soul of the infant: young Rowan of Bride, who is now forced to act as the human influence over infinite Mercy and unvarying Retribution.

 

Oh this is fun! I pride myself on my one-sentence-summaries of things, so I guess I'll test whether that'll work with doll backstories too!

The Ones At Home
Noire: A little girl who died of a combination of illnesses and was reincarnated into the body of a rambunctious 20-year-old lesbian doll with no sight and a horrible hate of brushing her hair.
Amser: The time traveller who messed up and ended up with his arm gone before being reincarnated and spending the rest of his immortal life attempting to be normal whilst simultaneously having to jump back and forth in time constantly in order to keep his master alive.
Xion: Once upon a time she was an only child but then her parents had 2 more kids and it all went to hell before she died and was reincarnated much the same except with extreme mind-messing powers and a penchant for time travelling redheads.

The Ones Coming Home
Angel: Her parents were quite uncreative to name her Angel when she was already an angel who fell for a fallen angel and accidentally murdered her stalker and then proceeded to discover that she was actually a princess of Heaven and that her fallen hunter 'mother' didn't really have an affair after all.
Nimetu: A once-demon with a violent streak who trained under an even nastier fallen angel but ended up dying in an accident at his laboratory and was thus reincarnated with his same disheveled orange hair and an even bigger lab in which he makes the most terrifying creatures out of innocent sleeping kids.

 

Zarek:
Immobilized by his deformed legs and feet, Zarek spent most of his life in a bubble. Every person he had known was born with abilities mundane to him and unknown to man. This place, with it's odd rules and unnatural customs, warm and secure and a place he could never think of leaving. That is, until they took his friend from him, that was his tipping point. He had snapped after that, his life then surrounded training his legs, willing their atrophied muscles to move and continue moving until he was strong enough to leave and go look for her.
Aletta:
Even as a child she was considered a threat. Her abilities were unlike others of her kind, and she held no mind to orders. Constant supervision was necessary for her and yet, neglected. By the age of 13 she easily escape the sight of almost any guard. And as she grew older and much more powerful, their fear of her was like never before. Until, it was eventually decided to take her to a place where she could cause no more fear in the exclusive world of mixes; a jail, where only the most uncontrollable were to be held and observed.

 

One day, when Finch was six, he wandered off on a school trip and was discovered by a sorceress who loved his precious beauty so much that she enchanted him into the form of a bird to keep for herself for all eternity. Nearly six years later, the sorceress died from a poisonous curse and all her enchantments were broken—thus freeing Finch of his bonds. But Finch, now twelve, is on his own, wandering with little concept of human behavior, language, and interactions.

 

Draven Estelle
Draven is the main act in a travelling circus. She is very in tune with the weather, and can control it as well as elements around her. She has been abused in her past, and is stuck somewhere between loving her powers and hating them. She is very airy and dream-like, but very smart.

 

I love this challenge! I can't say much of my dolls' backstory though, as I still know very little about them, but I'll tell you what I do know. (Well, technically I DO know everything. But as narrator... I don't. )

In order of doll arrival, and therefore backstory:


Syr;
Syr fell from the sky into the middle of a field, where we found her and took her home; since then, she has been extremely agoraphobic, and remains confined indoors. Despite her strange aversion to open sky, that doesn't stop her from spending half her time staring out of the windows -- and from reading every book in the house in the other half. Syr lives in a realm of her own, and has never been inclined to talk to us or engage with the world -- she is about as responsive as a stone wall. But when she does speak, she displays a formidable intellect, intuition and depth of understanding about the world, even though she seems quite childish and innocent in other ways. We only began to understand her origins when Justinian arrived: ever since he's been here, she has become more lively and engaged with ... well, not much more than him. But we listen in whenever we can.


Justinian;
Justinian came to us on foot with a sword on his shoulder, covered in the dust of travel, and utterly exhausted; it seemed that he was looking for Syr and found her. Since then, we have hardly seen him: he comes and goes as he pleases, often without us noticing, and unlike Syr he doesn't fear the sky. Indeed, he gets restless when he lingers here too long, and we wonder if there is still someone else he is searching for. If there is, he only speaks of that to Syr -- who has a remarkable calming effect on him, whom he looks up to like a mentor or older sister. Justinian is one of those quiet yet intense individuals, and true to type, he resents us peeking in on his myriad activities -- but what can we do? the radio has never stopped playing since he got here!


Halcyon;
Justinian brought Halcyon home in his arms one unexpected night, and she slept for weeks. Since she awoke, he has not gone abroad, and they are constantly seen together -- and with Syr, whose tongue seems to be loosened by Halcyon. We are still finding out more about Halcyon, but it is clear that she and Justinian are intimate in some way, and we are discovering just how much she craves being near water. And how annoying she can sometimes be, coming up to us unseen and making those unsolicited comments, especially since they always turn out to be uncannily accurate.


Chi Capella;
We don't quite know when we first became aware of her existence, but she had been increasingly making her existence known for some time, and it was only recently that she manifested a full physical (female) form. When asked for her name, she gave all kinds of answers ... Kai Kapella, Ky Kyp'l, Ai Aivel, Haida-vaida... so we just call her by the first one we knew. We believe she is a sprite of technology and silicon, a ghost in the machine that has achieved consciousness. It's entirely possible that the angels have had something to do with it, so it's with great annoyance that they mutually ignore each other and she bothers us instead.

 

Ian: Ian is a snarky gamer who lives in his supermodel-friend's basement. His best friends are Johanna (his housemate) and Max (a 14 year old cosplayer trekkie 'quebecinese' girl). Ian is very good looking and popular with the ladies until they learn of his crazy gaming habit, and it is rumored he has an on and off relationship with Johanna. He does eventually get a girlfriend though. She may or may not be an android.

 

Noah: A quiet, standoffish art student who tries to keep to himself most of the time. He plays violin and enjoys being outside. He's gay, but currently not looking for a boyfriend. His best friend in the whole world is Shiloh, and he feels like she's the only person who gets him, even if they are two complete opposites.

Shiloh: She's the absolute opposite of Noah; she's loud, she's outgoing, and she's a little bit in your face. She's younger than Noah, and looks up to him. Once upon a time, she had a massively huge crush on him, but is now happily in a relationship with a very unusual vampire named Alieu. She's bisexual and is very, very sexually-driven. She has a twin brother named Sage (Dollzone Jake, as soon as I can save up enough money to get him!)

 

Lucy : Adopted by the adventuring group that killed her birth-parents, she was spared the hard upbringing of drow society. When she died in battle, she was resurrected, and as a gift from Corellon, one of her gods, she was resurrected as his first drow paladin.

Zehelico : Bred and trained for battle by the church of Lolth, he was brought to the surface world as a warrior, but he was saved and fell in love with Lucy, so he has denounced the ways of his people and has found a better life.

 

Ohh...this will be fun! Some of my doll characters have fairly involved back stories, but let's see if I can summarize in 5 sentences or less.

Michael Seraph Brightman and his fraternal twin brother consider themselves to be fairly average guys. There is, however, a family legend that says they come partially from angelic bloodlines and that their grandmother was the daughter of a human woman and a fallen angel. No one has ever been able to prove this of course and the boys haven't exhibited any supernatural powers. Michael and his brother went backpacking across the country as a coming-of-age adventure. They ended up at my house and decided to stay.

Tyler James Brightman is Michael's fraternal twin, and he is the first-born. Tyler has been blind since birth, but doesn't let his disability stop him from living a full and adventurous life. It was Tyler's idea to go on the journey that eventually led the twins to me. He believes the story about his and Michael's angelic ancestor, and would like to discover the truth.

Andromeda Aella Smith (a.k.a. Rommie) is the eldest of three siblings. Her parents were killed in a car crash. Instead of letting the authorities take charge of them, she ran away with her brother and sister, and did her best to raise them on her own. One night, her little sister wandered off. She and her brother went out to look for their sister, agreeing to meet up again at a certain place and time, but when she got to the meeting spot, her brother and sister weren't there. To this day, she still doesn't know what happened to them, but has never given up hope of finding them.

Perseus Alexander Smith (a.k.a. Xander) shares much the same backstory as Andromeda, since he is her younger brother. Xander spent a long time searching for his sisters and finally located Cassie, who had been living in a foster home. Xander helped Cassie run away from her foster home. Ever since then, they've been terrified by the possibility of being separated. Recently, they've found out where their older sister lives and they are on their way home.

Cassiopeia Helen Smith (a.k.a. Cassie) is the youngest Smith sibling and shares their backstory. When Cassie got separated from her brother and sister, she was found by the police and ended up living in a series of foster homes, all of which she managed to run away from. She was always caught again and placed in a different foster home each time. She finally got away from the system once and for all when Xander found her. Now she and Xander are on their way to be reunited with their sister.

Sini Iloa is, as far as she knows, the only survivor of the unexplained disaster that destroyed her starship. Sini is from the planet Eris, and was on a mission to observe Earth. Sini and several of her crewmates escaped their dying ship in pods, but she has never been able to locate anyone else from her ship since her pod crashed to earth. It was Tyler and Michael who found her when they were out for a walk one afternoon. Since she's been here, she and Tyler have fallen in love, each of them finding unexpected acceptance from the other.

In a city called Al De Cedora, this is where it all starts...

DoC Zen, Reiya Kotoki-
A wandering bard who loves to travel around the kingdom and meeting new people.
It was on one of his travels that he meets a mercenary, Devin, and they travel around.
A sweet and gentle boy, Reiya also likes sweet food.

Luts CP Shine, Devin Vierence Krisence-
A mercenary for hire. He is actually a Viscount, heir of Count/ Earl Devonshire.
However he was disowned when he joined the Mercenary class, instead of becoming a Crusader his father wanted.
Due to some circumstances and intervention by his cousin, Vangil, he was reinstated his title.
Has a tendency to be brash, hot headed at times too.

Luts SDF Abadon on SSDF body, Vangil Rhystrat Raleigh-
The charismatic High Wizard, guilds master of Cedora Raleigh and the 2nd son of the Marquess of Wesford.
Well loved and respected by his guild members and society. Can be over confident at times too.
Having his gems pouch pickpocketed by the assassin Lydith, and finally catching up to him.
He forces the young assassin to join his guild and his quest to kill the Dark Lord.

Volks SD10 Kanata, Lydith Ilsei-
The 19 years old baby faced assassin.
His Dancer mother died when he was young, leaving him with his compulsive gambling father.
He was sold to the traid leader by his father, to clear his gambling debts.
After being trained by them to be an assassin, Lydith killed their leader and ran away.
He was caught by Vangil for stealing his gems pouch, and life seems to spiral down- or maybe not.

Luts Winter Event 2009 Wintery on SDF body, Winseris Lerion Raleigh-
Gunslinger, guilds master of Izclair Raleigh and the 3rd son of Marquess Wesford.
Calm, quick and precise, just like his gunner skills.
A romantic as well, he is currently courting his sister's best friend.

DoT E-an, Audrey Eliza Raleigh-
The youngest child and only daughter of Marquess Wesford, taking after her mother as an Elementalist.
Prides herself in being a noble, likes pretty things, and does not hesitate to throw a major lightning storm especially on Vangil.
She also likes to tease Lydith and his relationship with Vangil, much to the latter's annoyance.

Leekeworld D Chouette, Kilein Riviera Raleigh-
Novice, assassin class.
Kilein grew up in an orphanage, and he rescued Lydith after the last battle with the Dark Lord.
When Vangil finally found Lydith and they were about to leave, Kilein insisted going with them as Ly had promised to teach him how to use a katar.
Hence, Vangil adopted Kilein as his son and heir to the guild.
Mischevious and has a thing for annoying Vangil aswell.

Luts HDF Pitta, Florinda Cathleyn-
Novice, priestess class.
Like Kilein, this sweet, loving and sometimes cry baby little girl, grew up in the same orphanage too.
When Kilein decided to leave with Vangil & Lydith to train as an assassin, she decided to follow them too.
Saying, 'If Kilein becomes an assassin, then I'll be a Priestess! So that I can heal you!'

 

Aiden (MNF Luka / Dollzone hybrid) - His mother died when he was young, and after that his family situation was almost unbearable. He now lives with his guardian Michael, who loves him very much and is very protective. Even the giant lady person isn't quite sure what happened between point A and B, there. If it involves inadvertent kidnapping, it would seem Aiden's former family is happy to be rid of him. O.o;; Aiden is much better off where he is, with new friends and a new "family" to spend a proper childhood with.

Michael (Dollzone 72cm Cosmo) - Former Catholic priest who has since abandoned the lunacy, as he puts it, Michael is now keeping watch over his ward Aiden. He was once part of a love triangle with Asura, with Jian's permission, but is now solely devoted to Nightweaver's Angelo. Michael has dreams and visions of alternate universe versions of himself and some of the other people he comes in contact with, so he is more likely to guess a new arrival's character in general, one reason why he dislikes both Karls. (I totally cheated and copy-pasta'd this from his bio at my doll site, with minor edits.)

Ashe (Soulldoll Kanguk / Dollzone hybrid) - Half Japanese, half Chinese, he was raised in his mother's "establishment" that was run like a Geisha house with *ahem* adult entertainment type things going on. His mother was imprisoned while he was away and she eventually died in prison, but Ashe got revenge by assassinating the official in charge and escaping to the West. He now takes private contracts of the killing-people type, and keeps his martial arts and sniping skills honed. He is also known to do pro-bono work for the sake of vigilante justice.

Emyrren (Soom Epidos Unikenta / Dollzone hybrid) - Once a prince in another world of magic and fantasy, he was betrayed and framed for the murder of his father. He fled and found a portal that led him to another fantasy world (the Forgotten Realms universe). After spending quite a few years as an adventurer, another portal led him to the world he lives in now, as a resident of a house full of odd-sized beings. Emyrren is partnered with a beautiful dancer named Lharanthis, and even though they are both male, they have twins thanks to the wonders of magic.

 

This is Anya's backstory. I feel like I've learnt a lot from this. Thank you.

A shy, nameless, terribly small girl who was found in a deserted library, trapped under a fallen bookcase in a gloomy hallway. She ate the pages to survive and cried for their loss; she learnt their content before ingesting them. She was named "Anya" to mean "Radiance", for her will to live on and lives near a great library where she can satisfy her passion for reading books, now that she has a caring family to look after her. Anya likes to sleep in her padded case, as it gives her the comfort that she had forgone for years.

 

Morgan Coldswell
Also known as Jack the Ripper, Morgan is a medical doctor fist, and is trying to clean out Whitechaple from a demon who is plaguing the women there. He lost his wife five years ago to the demon who is now infecting women in the lower class. He's been working on his Alchemical degree so he can better fight the monsters. He works alone most of the time, but that's about to change with a Doctor working on the Ripper case might mean a knew love in his life, and maybe a new lease on life.

 

Lydia Lucifer Valentine:
I grew up a 'child of the Old Gentry' in Toulouse, France (but I was born in Nevers), before my parents sent me to Montreal (Canada) for high school, to ease my transition into speaking the Queen's English (though Canadian French is wildly different). Having graduated a year early and continued onto college right away, at the prestigious Miskatonic University in Arkham Massachusetts, studying Physics on a full scholarship (as per my parents' dreams for me). Since gaining private tutors in violin and painting, I have learned much more about the world, and have discovered other avenues beyond Physics which I can explore, only previously heard of in my many volumes of books. My parents have no idea I've deviated from Physics in favour of Metaphysics and Cryptozoology.

 

Okay! Deep breath.

Nowe: Fae prince of the realm of Elysium he fled his throne to avoid starting a civil war between the fae and nefarian. Upon his arrival on the human plane he saved Hakuouka Rin from committing suicide and turned him into his personal slave. Soon after meeting Rin's friend's protegee, Yuliya, he becomes friends with her. Together with his brother and her they later flee from bounty hunters after 'exotic species' such as they are, eventually to return to his homeplane.

Eien: Brother to Nowe and used as a scapegoat to shoulder the burden of the Elysian throne after his brother left. Following him soon after he ends up living with him and soon becomes enamored with Yuliya's twin demon, Eulia. Together with the girls and his brother they embark on a journey to find the secret to turn them mortal, his arcane powers coming in handy.

Yui: Yuliya's brother who suffers from the same condition as her, hosting a Changeling demon inside of him. The way they found to keep his evil alter ego in check was to have him dress in girls' clothes as the demon refused to surface due to being too prideful. After his sister left with Nowe and the others he was entrusted with taking care of his sister's cat child, Noche, and so he did, growing up with him, working as he always had in a bakery cafe. Managing to learn how to keep his demon in check during the early stage of his adulthood he aims to live the quiet life he always wanted with Noche as his partner.

Saint: A cheerful young man whose real name is Shainto and who suffers from a heart condition. His real passion in life is... bread... and apparently he has signed up for more volunteering jobs than one can count. One day he becomes acquainted to a small demon called Nanashi -but who he calls Midori-chan due to his green hair- and becomes his friend. After many ups and downs the two end up 'dating' in some form and then soon form a relationship. Despite their incompatibility in lifespan, Saint has promised to return to Nana as an angel if he has to.

C: Once betrayed by the woman he loved he gave everything, including his name, away when he joined the Organization to start anew. Through a mission involving probation of Nowe and his small crew he meets one of Rin's friends, Patrick, and after a rather violent affair begins coming closer with him, welcoming him in the Organization as his partner soon after. Slowly starting to give in and opening himself up a bit he finds himself in a relationship with him, eventually getting married.

Hyorin: ex-part of a travelling company of entertainers she's now training to become an idol. She can sing well and dance to about anything with little effort and spends her free time watching asian dramas and dreaming about her Prince Charming. One day she meets newcomer Ramiel at her mother's dance lessons and decides to have him tag along and aim for the top with her since he's so talented and cute. She often drives her managers insane by being ridiculously demanding...

Alva: One of Hyorin's managers whose codename is 'blue', has a twin sister whose name is Paulina. She is the most dynamic of the two and believes that women don't need men in their lives to thrive, or that men should eventually submit to women. At first she was against Ramiel joining Hyorin in her efforts as she believed he would drag her down but soon after changed her mind.

Finnick: A tiny child born of a tulip, grown from one of several special seeds created by the God of nature and everything. He has two 'fathers' as he happened to grow in a flower shop owned by Ootoribashi Mizuiro and his partner in life, Xiu Bai. Just a bit timid as a child, he grew up to be a little rebel during puberty, taking on skateboard and sneaking out of the house as his favorite pastimes. His most favorite person is his 'brother', Haine, another flower child born of a red rose.

Arystar: a fox sprite who just tries to get by. He's happily married to another fox sprite who goes by the name of Anna who he loves dearly. If given the choice he will always place his wife's needs before his own. Arystar eventually befriends one of the prince's of Hell with whom he often hangs out to drink coffee and eat cakes, much to the former's twin's dismay. Together with Anna they are currently living in the home of one of the members of the Organization.

Lucifer: youngest of the princes of Hell and one half of fraternal twins, his brother is Bellial. Lucifer despises his father, siblings and demons in general -including an inability to come to terms with himself-. After leaving Hell behind he starts an 'anything' business accepting requests for... well, anything. He's been doing his best to tolerate his twin brother ever since he came back around and has grown closer with him since.

Irie: a literal database on feet, she was constructed by an inventor by the name of Karl. She's blissfully ignorant about the most practical things despite her head being able to store countless amounts of information. She is very attached to her master and is prone to following him around for no reason at all. Apparently she has eventually developed the habit of staring at the starry sky at night for some reason.

~*Aeryn*~
Little is known about Aeryn and her sister, only that they grew up in an ophanage
together. While her younger sibling befriended everyone and all, Aeryn kept herself to
herself, staying emerged in poetry and music...At the age of 16 Aeryn was told to leave
the orphanage, reluctantly she did, promising to collect her lil sister when she reached
16. She now lives with a collection of misfits, all thrown together for no reason at all
:P Except that they all share that they don't belong and are running from lives or pasts
they don't want.

~*Ellabell & Oli*~
Twins. Ellabell is the eldest by 2minutes, 43 seconds and 7mini-seconds, much to Oli's
dismay...
There is a war atm in thier homeland. Thier mother sent them and thier older sister away,
to somewhere safer, but thier older sister turned back at the last moment to be with her
bf, and they were seperated. Now they stay in the care of a strange human creature
(They've never met any before), and wait for thier parents and sister to get them and
take them home...

~*Nyrea*~
a strange creature elemented from a figment of imagination...
It's thought that she's the inner child of the person who imagined her up, due to
insecurities about leaving childhood and taking responsibility.

~*Jaxith, Wrathion & Eliza*~
The master of a demononic realm Fathered many offspring, all with different mothers, as
most met thier end at childbirth. Most offspring was mindless, but 3 were not:
Jaxith is very unique being half human. Aparently his human mother was deeply inlove with
the demon master, but Jaxith's birth killed her. When Jaxith reached teenhood, his
inherited demonic power began to materialise. Resentment and frustration at his inability
to hide and control his demon half, drove him to resent his father even more then he
already did. When a firesnake told him that his mother didn't love his father, and that
she was kidnaped and raped, he fled the demon realm to the human realm, vowing not to go
back there.
Eliza is an oddity amoungst her siblings. It's thought she has the same birth mother as
her brother Wrathion, but she isn't the same. She lacks any control of her demon stregth,
and her father says her biggest weakness is her unnatural show of compassion and the fact
she possesses it. She also has no nature thirst for destruction, like all her other
siblings, except Jax who's human side overrides those kinds of thirsts. She looks upto
her brother Jaxith as he is undestructive as she wants to be. She resents her father's
lack of favour and so when Jax abandoned her, she ran away to be whereever he was...
Wrathion is the only pure demon child of the demon master, intended to be the heir to the
throne of the demon realm. His feelings for his father and siblings are untainted, but
takes a certain attachment to his brother Jaxith, as they spent most of thier childhood
together, even if most of the time Jaxith was victim to Wrathions cruel games and
teasing, even though he was slightly older, wrathion's pure demon stregth was far
supirior. He was disapointed with Jax for running out on the family, But had to find him
as his father demanded it, as he wanted his only daughter back home safe, and jax aswell
or destroyed, his choice. But it would appear Wrathion has developed a taste for the
human realm and thier behavior...

~*Reeves*~
Reeves is a feral Druid. He was in an accident of some kind, but where and what is unknown, all that is understood as that his memory was lost... He regenerated and healed from all wounds sustained, but forgot his name and the ability to shapeshift, so his form stayed that of an elf crossed with a wolf. He gave himself the name Reeves and wandered through realms looking for new purpose... He found her.

 

Here we go.

Teal: Ridiculously-dressed demon spawn brings the dead back to life and minces about the place robbing graves without getting dirt on his stupid high heels.

Clairvius: Posh zombie with an Oedipal complex and a penchant for lace and doll-houses, should have been the owner of a Haitian sugar-mill if his jealous uncle hadn't gotten him undeaded.

Wolfe: Mad medical genius gone seriously, seriously wrong, sports a scalpel and an immortality fetish.

Felix: Creepy Scottish pervert hangs for grave-robbing, two hundred years later is brought back to life and resumes former creepy activities.

Selkie: Washed-up seal boy gets dumped by his lover, skin stolen by his mother-in-law, causes storms and eats fish and sleeps and sulks.

13: Frog/seaslug/sponge/human hybrid, loves tea, also loves trying to kill everyone, fits snugly into a straitjacket and deep-freeze for easy transportation.

Topaz: Awkward grungy demon-spawn accidentally kills people and gets a bit angsty about it, rides around on trains for a while, gets quite grubby.

Matilda: Precocious but irritating little brat is done in by headmistress, returns from the dead, has vengeance thwarted and moves things about with the power of her eyes, allowing for awesome pranks.

Amleth: Droopy Danish prince vows to kill uncle for murder of father, messes around a bit, fails, gets turned into the undead and goes swooping about on Viking longboats slaughtering Europe, enjoys crosswords.

Raz: Religious healer to Russian tsar and arrogant wizard type, gets turned into a tooth-fairy to curb his vast hedonistic appetites, enjoys scaring children and blowing things up.

 

Yaret Fairfax was born in mid-Fourth Century Northumbria to a teenage Angle girl, a result of a breeding experiment by an advanced humanoid race called the Alva, known to the ancient humans as the elves. Despite being a very successful hybrid endowed with the powers of both races, he had a rather miserable life on Earth, and at the age of 27 was taken to the Otherworld to dwell with his father's kin. After over a thousand years of serving Alvaheim in military capacity, he retired to his home planet, where he established an official Haven - a neutral ground for non-human lifeforms residing on Earth - where he currently lives with his human spouse Anna and their growing family.

Anna Reily is a human woman who, as a young teen, accidentally crossed into the Otherworld and survived. After returning, she chose to pretend it never happened, eventually believing it had been a figment of her imagination and a delusion. This traumatic event informed her professional interest in mental illness and psychology in general. Reuniting with Yaret Fairfax, who she had met on her adventure in the Otherworld, made her reassess her experience deeming it real rather than imaginary. Currently married to Yaret, she works as a therapist with mostly hon-human clients.

 

Yuka (5stardoll Chu):
Yuka is just a normal, sad girl. She was never loved by her parents and sent to boarding school. All she really wants is a friend to be happy with.

Fleur Royale: An ordinary girl with lots of charm, Fleur has moved away from her family to find herself. She's on a mission to figure out who she is after her parents revealed that she's a changeling. She has started to have outbursts of magic since she moved into the Curiosity Shop. Fleur was accidently left in place of a human child but her biological family wasn't able to return for her.

Alwyn Taylor: A young teen from a world inspired by the 20s and 30s. She is a magicain's apprentince and is trying to bring a doll to life. She has to learn magic mostly from books though, since her master magicain avoids teaching her. She is in a relationship with her best friend, who is learning to be an Illusionist.

Druella: Dru is the human child that Fleur(see above) replaced. Druella was raised by Fleur's biological family. She tracked down Fleur in an attempt to bring her back to her homeland but has so far been unsuccesful in convincing Fleur to go anywhere.

 

Ramses is a Elfdoll/Mir, named for both Pharoah Ramses II (1279-1213BC) of Egypt and a character of the same name in a series of books by Elizabeth Peters. He is sensual and beautiful, brilliant, a dominant personality, and a scholar of Egyptology. He is currently breathlessly awaiting the arrival of the lady he hopes to be his one true love, a Carina by Iplehouse, to be named Nefertari. He is also an artist who works in many media, chiefly costume design, woodwork, silver smithing and jewelry making. He flirts beguilingly with anyone breathing, but has never been in a serious relationship.

 

Oneiro Darkwatch (Soom Ender) is a Greek immortal hiding in plain sight using his built up wealth to do what he loves best...build ships and break or absorb lesser businesses. Oneiro comes across as an arrogant, self-assured and domineering male that seems to love only money and fast women. He uses his business to search for a soul he lost eons ago. Sometime in the past five years he felt that soul awaken and the pulse from it rocked him to his knees. Since then his billions have multiplied as he drives his business to the brink of risk searching for that soul.

 

Alexandre (Ringdoll Sol) is a male ballet dancer & model from a little town in France that no-one seems to care about. Two years ago, he lost his parents within almost twelve months of each other. He only took up modelling to earn a living whilst his ballet career was taking off, but it soon became his full-time occupation after his parents' deaths. He still dreams of, one day, starring on-stage as the title character in Onegin.

 

Lorina was a young girl in a post apocalyptic world just a few years after a zombie pandemic wiped out most of the population. She lived in an isolated castle with a few others including an orphaned boy named Ari. When they were older Lorina and Ari had a daughter named Emie, but poor Lorina was killed soon after. She was reincarnated as Mariana. So Ari and Lorina only exist as part of a grown-up Ilari's (Ari's) memories while he, Emie, and Mariana represent the current timeline.

Judas/Zero (Minifee Shiwoo)
He's a Lab made Zombie that flips through two different personalities. When his eyes change to Blue he's Judas, when they change to Black he's Zero. As Judas he's an angry "Teenage" boy who yells, throws his xbox controllers, eats whatever he can shove in his mouth and takes over the couch. As Zero, he forgets how to speak, curls up and sleeps most of the time, and colors pictures a lot.

 

Riley is a half American half French musician in his 20's just trying to make it in Brooklyn. His hair gives him a brooding look, but in actuality it's to cover his scars (and blind eye) his mother inflicted on him in a drunken rage at 16. He has a select few friends, but otherwise keeps to himself, while helping to run a swanky bookstore/cafe. And after one long night at work, he finds that his entire life is about to change.

Moswen (AoD Chi)
Moswen is an Awh'anise Throwback born to be a Shal-hazal (a person who can enter the dreams of others). He is unique because of his Throwback nature which is considered ultra violent and unpredictable by the very violent Awh'anise. He has the most bizarre karma in the universe and what often seems bad at first works out to be the best possible outcome in the end even if the road to get from bad to great is long and winding. Through his karmic twists he met Kijika, his Lor'fei (a partner that his very life is unbreakably tied to) and the absolute love of his life. Furthering the karmic twists in Moswen's life, the males of Kijika's species on his maternal side can and do become pregnant (unbeknownst to Moswen the first time it happened), which allowed Moswen and Kijika to have two biological children together.

Kijika (AoD/LE Doll Adonis collab)
Kijika is half Vylfian, half Naemo and a prince on his maternal side. He is also a necromantic officer in the Naemo Army of the Dead and the head Royal Librarian. In Moswen he finds someone who loves him utterly for who he is and who has no desire for any royal favours from Kijika. Moswen helped Kijika to accept who he was and gives him unconditional love, support and the children Kijika longed for. While Moswen may frustrate Kijika at times with his overprotective nature, Kijika loves the fun Moswen drags him into and having a sparring partner who gives him a hard workout.

Taka (icon) - A boy trying to cope with his ability to see the world as it truly is and the creatures that inhabit it. His older brother has a similar ability to a lesser degree, both having inherited it from their father. He is half Japanese and is American. Extroverted though afraid of rejection, he has few friends but maintains a positive attitude. He is still a sarcastic pain in the butt, though.

Lee - Taka's slightly older friend who has no remarkable abilities asside from the slow realization of his inherent gayness. He is very social and sensible yet tends to pull pranks with Taka for fun. He is half Japanese/half Korean and 100% American (via adoption as an infant).

Ryan - A happy little boy who collects dances like trading cards. You will regret the day you turn on Gangnam Style within his earshot. He is also mildly psychic but requires physical touch in order to read minds (a version of Taka's ability).

They are all human.

 

Benjin. (Crobidoll ver. Matsuri Lance)

Likes the animals, being outside, walking in the woods or through the wheat fields, drawing, sailing, the ocean, the sky, the grass, the sun. Despises the Temple and its Healers, for they incant and invoke conjurations of things that don't exist. A thatcher by trade and a student of nature, he left home to travel, eventually finding a merchant ship on which to sail. He spends his time sketching and dreaming of the simpler life he left behind in the woods. Doesn't believe in anything he can't see for his own eyes... until, of course, the day he comes to realize he is an elemental and a vessel for nature magic.

 

Charles Payton Christian (Migidoll Cho)

An only child born to your average American family, who as a small kid seemed to have issues finding common ground with other children (aka, making friends) and found himself bullied instead. Not seeing fault in himself, he assumed they were to blame and retaliated to the point that one bully ended up poisoned and in the hospital. Charlie was, and still is, unable to see the problem with taking actions that send people to the hospital when those people annoy him more than usual. Which led to his being institutionalized off and on for the better part of three years in his teens. Not all his annoyances (aka, victims) make it to the hospital in time.



Future story, not back story, is that he tolerates Makale (shown above) more than most, and has been listening to him chatter all afternoon (since I took this game pic > in the theme thread), and I picked him because his first birthday is this month, the 20th, the day before the world ends!~

 

Sorry, no elves, vampires, demons or godlings among my crew...

Katja (CP Lishe) is a part time model dating Ellesar, an ecologist (MNM/Raurencio). Both rent rooms in Konane's (Elfdoll Soah) house, since she is raising her younger sisters, Kamea (Elfdoll Little Soah) and Kai (Elfdoll Yumi). Konane is engaged to Lan (MNM/DIM), but is currently sharing her room with another sister, Kar'yn (Elfdoll Smiling Soah), who is just home from her stint with Habitat for Humanity. Interested in Kar'yn is Vaalen (BBD Valentine), who met her at the university where they are students, she full time, he part time, since he is raising a daughter, Kari (Elfdoll Dami) and needs to work. Konane and Lan are both teachers there, she teaching physics and he mathematics.
2013 will see a doll wedding, and the addition of at least one baby.

 

Since I will be ordering him soon, and because he has the funnest backstory in five sentences... I'll talk about Setsume!

Penn "Setsume":

Setsume is finally getting his life together: he's on his way to starting a new life, complete with a clean slate and a new name. He just needs to do one more dirty job -- one more job to get the money he needs to gain custody of his estranged little brother, one more job to cut himself free from the scummy fellas he's surrounded himself with -- just one more job.
That's where the trouble begins... when the job turns sour and a dead body surfaces, Setsume flees and tries to put the whole thing behind him. And Setsume's well on his way to forgetting about it -- until he steps out of the shower to find the dead body standing in his bathroom, one boot in the toilet, and very much alive. With this stranger claiming to be from another world, bad news stalking Setsume at every turn, assassins after Setsume's head and custody for his baby brother just out of reach, will Setsume manage to break free of his messy past, or will he find himself falling into old habits?

While he's technically not my doll YET... he'll be ordered on Saturday and hopefully on his way soon enough! :3 Since he's my latest project, I wanted to share him with you. Hehe.

 

Effie(Resinsoul Yao): Effie was found all alone in a cave by a forest elf. She is named by the Lord of the Woods after the mountains she was found near. After living with the elves for 15 years she leaves the forest to find her long lost parents. She finds her mother in the court of the high elves and finds her father in a traveling troupe of entertainers. She's half high elf, half satyr and has many magical talents.

Seris(Lumedoll Rischa): Seris is a satyr and was born in the spring. His parents are entertainers who travel with Effie's father all over the magical realm. He has many talents himself; from juggling, acting and dancing to singing, playing instruments and sword play. He meets Effie when she comes to find her father and they fall for each other. His magical ability isn't as vast as Effie's, but he makes up for it with his charm.

Francis(Pipos Mecy): Francis is a forest fairy turned rogue. Instead of staying in his home woods and making merry, he's decided to go ranging. His talents lay more in tracking, hunting and fighting than in magic or encouraging forest life; he might be small, but he's got a big bite! He's got a bad attitude and he's not afraid of anything. He meets Effie in an inn when she's on her way to find her mother, and later finds out that he, himself, is the direct decedent of an ancient forest king.

Laksani(Resinsoul Yao): Laksani is Effie's half sister from her father's side. She travels with her father in his troupe and has almost as many talents as Seris. She's got a fiery attitude and an overactive sex drive.XD Her mother is one of the dancers/acrobats in her father's troupe and she's inherited her very bright red, curly hair. She's recently broken off a two year relationship with a forest elf named Nina.

I have two more characters on their way and will update their info when they arrive.

 

Vince

A doll with a mind of his own, Vince has no desire whatsoever to become a real boy. He enjoys being catered to and lavished with attention, but he is not completely selfish. If the only service he can provide is to be a source of cheer, then at least he can use his sweet face and cuddleability for good... He does not understand that the other dolls have set characters and worlds other than 'his', though. He thinks the other dolls I brought home are for him as much as for me and considers them his family even though they shouldn't really know he exists.

 

Astor [Minifee Modded Scar Breakaway in Normal Skin on Dollzone B45-010 Boy Body with Renata Arms]

A fanatical 12th century Irish noble who became infatuated with stories of (and then later volunteered his life and soul in the name of) the Unseelie King. He became warped and twisted by his own will into an undying monster of the flora. On foggy nights, he lures hypnotized victims into the moor and faerie circles with his carved pumpkin lanterns, and thus became known as 'The Jack of Lanterns'. He has an unstable, jolly, and almost manic personality. Despite his grotesque appearances and dense shrubbery, he still wears whatever is fashionable of the time period that he is living in, often in his favourite colours -- black and orange.​

He is my "son". His physical looks were based on the description of Artemis Fowl. He grew up being home schooled. He tries to learn something new everyday. And he keeps a secret for me.
