A period outfit, I love historical clothing.

faceup!! I can't sew for peanuts.
Would you rather pay exorbitant amounts of money and have your doll arrive within a day but not have tracking OR pay very little for shipping and have a tracking number and your doll arrives in a week?

 

A week. That's still very fast and I'd rather spend money on doll stuff than shipping.

Would you rather get wigs or new eyes for all your dolls?

 

Wigs.

Would you rather get new doll props or new doll outfits?

 

Props. I've got a few in mind that I would really like to get my hands on...!

Would you rather repair a pre-existing faceup when it wears or chips, or wipe it and start over?

 

The perfect ones, as long as it means 1 for each of my dolls.

I would rather take photos of my dolls at a beach. That setting would be perfect for them.

Would you rather have your grail doll and never be able to get another doll, or to have unlimited access to dolls that you do not like as much?

 

I don't really have a grail doll, so unlimited access to all the dolls sounds great.

Would you rather get new furniture or new clothes for your dolls?

 

Furniture I like to make my own clothes.

Would you rather have all of your dolls have seams that you can't sand down or stains along the seam lines but no seams left behind?

 

Stains if they can be removed; otherwise, seam lines that cannot be sanded down

Would you rather be able to have dozens of dolls but never be able to travel far from home, or only have a few dolls and have to travel globally all the time with your dolls?

 

I would rather have a few dolls and travel globally all the time with them.

Knock them off the table. There is squishy stuff next to the one they are on so the chances of them breaking are smaller. Sticky soda is horror.

Would you rather have your doll get a well done, bright colored manicure, or have a poorly done french manicure?

 

Heehee... Zeke would kill me, but I think it'd be funny to see him with bright colorful nails~

Would you rather travel with your favorite SD or larger, or your least favorite YoSD or smaller?

 

SD, because I don't have any YoSDs.

Would you rather lose your favorite doll outfit, or your favorite wig?

 

Wig, because it would be cheaper to replace it.

Would you rather do a doll faceup or sew an outfit for a doll?

 

Either one, really. I've done both. I seem to be better at faceups though... Sewing has never been my specialty.

Would you rather your doll broke a finger or chipped off a part of their knee joint?

 

I'd rather their finger broke. I could either repair it or buy a new pair of hands, though knowing me I'd have plenty of extra hands in case something happened!

Would you rather do a face up or send it out to be done?

 

oh my gosh! I'd have someone else (who has a stronger constitution than I do) eat it. My poor lil tummy gets so upset with the littlest thing, I cannot imagine how it'd react to resin >_< However I wouldn't want anyone to eat my precious doll bb :P

Would you rather your doll only had a left hand or a right hand, with no way to replace the opposite one?

 

I'd rather they have the left hand. I'm not sure why.

Would you rather have the perfect wig that's a little too big or perfect eyes that are a little too small?

 

I have the eyes already and it sucks, you can add elastic bands to a doll's head to make a wig fit - so wig!

Would you rather have a yellowed face or a yellowed body?

 

I think I'll go for the yellow face since you can hide a lot with the right face-up and some blushing here and there.

Would you rather have a doll strung too tight or too loose?

 

Too loose. You can always restring and tighten her up!
Would you rather sacrifice chocolate in order to keep your bjds or sacrifice one of your dolls in order to have a life time supply of any kind of junk food of your choice?

I think probably legs. Don't ask me why though.

Friend's house, I trust my friend. I don't trust my little brother who lives with me, and I don't trust my house's clutter.

Only girls! When I had a boy doll, we didn't really get along too well XD

Only dolly thigh highs, because then I could at least mod them into ankle length socks.

Draw! Easily.

Random wig! I'm pretty easy when it comes to hairstyles, but I'm picky as heck about shoes.

Would you rather restring your doll or do a face up on it?

 

Restring my doll. I have no talent at all for faceups.

Would you rather give your doll away to a friend who lives close by and lets you see the doll whenever you want or sell it to someone who lives far away and lets you see pictures whenever you want but never play with the doll again?

 

Sell because at least I can use the money for more doll stuff.

Would you rather have a ton of doll friends online and none in person, or a couple in person and none online?

 

I'd rather in person than online (assuming we're like close friends and not just more of aquaintances)

Would you rather see have all your girl dolls have tattoos or all your boy dolls?

 

I have five (or six) pairs of shoes - all gorgeous and all perfect with particular outfits. I would rather have my boys tattooed, though one of my girls has a face tattoo.

Do you think changing the wig (color, style and length) changes the fundamental personality of your doll?

 

Not sure how that is a would you rather so I shall answer it as if the question was this: Would you rather change the color, style or length of your doll's wig? ) Hope that is ok?)

I would rather change the style. Most of my dolls have or will have multiple wigs for different looks. Their hair color and the general length don't change as much

Would you rather "cook" a full meal for your dolls (IE bake clay or something ) or build them a piece of furniture?

 

Build them furniture!! I love that sort of thing, and would probably have a woodshop if I wasn't living in an apartment. XD

Full outfit for sure. Wig sounds difficult xD

A yellowed doll if it was evenly yellowed.

faceup in person. I'm horrible at expressing myself properly and I often use hand gestures and incorrect words :P I'm much better at expressing myself in person because a lot of my expression is non-verbal.
Would you rather have an ABS SD sized doll, or a resin Tiny doll?

 

I love all kinds of dolls, don't care for material but I prefer smaller dolls so I would rather have the resin tiny doll.

Would you rather have your dream/grail doll but could never change the default eyes/wig/face up or have any other doll except your grail but be able to customize it however you want?

 

The second choice. I don't really have a set grail, but it's very important to me that my dolls are custom ^^"

The former!! I'm currently sorta broke with not much forseeable substantial income in the near future XD I have many dolls that I like and there are way more that I want. If I didn't have dolls I don't know what I'd do!

Free tiny, because i make most of my doll outfits by myself.

I am tired and can't think of something fun so I am going to re ask a question I think got skipped: If you lost a doll would you rather have it returned to you with serious damage or have some sort of insurance cover the cost of the missing doll but never see the original doll again?

 

The insurance option. With any luck, I could buy another of the same sculpt, give them a similar faceup... And, well, hope for the best.

Would you rather have a forest or a city setting to take doll photos in?

 

FOREST!!!! My centaur girl loooves the natural look.
Would you rather have well trained pets that LOVE your dolls but are careful with them, or poorly trained pets that hate your dolls and aren't afraid to show it?!
i.e. option 1: your cat's always loving up on your doll so she's full of cat hair, but never damaged. option 2: your pet purposefully pushes your doll off their shelves or bites them or pees on them... XD

 

I'll go with loving kitties and fur covered doll clothes. That's what lint rollers are for!

Would you rather have a bright red doll or a bright green doll?

 

Difficult, I think I'll go with the bright green BJD. The red would probably startle me everytime I take it out.

Would you rather get no shipping notice for several months on an order but then extremely fast shipping (like only a few days) or have a shipping notice way sooner than you would have imagined but then the shipping takes several weeks for some reason? (Does that even make sense how I say it? XD)

 

Makes sense to me! I would rather have the shipping notice. Getting frustrated wondering when it is going to ship is way worse then getting frustrated with it sitting in a shipping warehouse.

Would you rather sculpt your own doll so that it is perfect or buy a sculpt that is almost perfect but has one big flaw?

 

^ Though flaws do not bother me, I would rather sculpt my own since I have always wanted to try that! With me sculpting, I could make them look exactly as I want, and some already made dolls just do not fit.

Free face-up! I can sew, but have no experience doing face-ups. or the materials.
