Would you rather have a white skinned or true black skinned doll?

Does it bother you that most of the sealents for face-up are toxic?

 

yup.

Would you rather have a bjd with just the minimum amount joints or one with a ton of extra ones?

 

I think it would depend on the type of clothes that the doll would be wearing but by default I would absolutely prefer a ton of extra joints!

Would you rather find a wig for your doll that's the right style but have to dye it the right colour, or make one that fits all your requirements?

Would you rather sell a doll in a successful transaction and have the buyer drastically change it making it not to your taste, or have the buyer never post the doll anywhere so it effectively disappears (but the transaction is still fine)?

 

id rather they drastically changed the doll even if it wasnt to my taste a) as id only sell my doll if i wasnt in love with it myself and b) even if it wasnt to my taste i'd know she/he wasn't sat in a box somewhere being forgotten and was out and about bringing joy.

would you rather have all your dolls in cute girly outfits or steam punk style outfits?

 

I prefer the cute girly outfits, steampunk is a bit dark for me. Pastels ahoy!

Would you rather have a beautiful body sculpt but with badly made joints, or an ugly sculpt with incorrect proportions but perfect, hyper poseable joints?

Would you rather have three very yellowed, very old BJDs or one pristine one?

 

I'll take quantity over quality in this case! I would prefer having more dollies to play with and spoil~

3 Very yellowed old dolls. Old dolls need love too, and there are some ways to reduce the yellowing at least a bit.

Would you rather have 5 yoSDs or 3 SDs?

 

5 yoSDs. SDs seem too big too me. and as no one else answered it, I'd rather get one in person. That's never happened though.

Would you rather go on a trip with one big doll or several tinies?

 

One SD any day!

I will answer dreamweaver too and say instant gratification! Plus you can see the faceup in person.

Would you rather have your favorite sculpt with a meh faceup, or a doll you'd never noticed before with a stunning faceup?

I'd rather have my favourite sculpt with a meeeh face up, since the face up after all can be changed anyways but the sculpt can't (except of modding of course) =3

If you plan to buy several dolls (like 3 or 4) from the same company/via the same bjd dealer would you rather buy them all at once or separately over several months or years?

 

If I had the money I'd buy them all at once (and think of a way to explain to my family for the few months it takes to get here)

Would you rather know how to do amazing faceups or amazing modifications?

 

Aw man, both of those sound awesome... I think I'll have to go with faceups though, just because while not every doll needs mods, they all need their faces painted! It'd be more useful ^^

PERFECT shoes! Most of them are in 'meh' shoes right now.

Hrm... Too small, probably. White putty helps alleviate the problem a bit ^^"

Would you rather have all your dolls resin be paper-white or inky-black?

 

Paper white! At least then you'd be able to paint and customise them with darker colours, I'd imagine it'd be quite limiting to have an inky black doll, at least faceup wise.

Would you rather, if given the choice, become a bjd or have one of your bjds become human!?

 

If given the choice, I think I'd rather have one of my BJDs become human.

Would you rather have a doll with one set of really good jointed hands or a whole lot of option hands?

 

A whole lot of option hands. (Goes with my tinies obsession)

Would you rather make you own custom doll clothes, or find clothes a similar style and modify them?

 

Make them myself! That's what I do for most of my dolls' clothes anyway.

Always the head. That's why I have a box of bodiless heads. XD

I think I would rather do re-stringing...less intimidating to me, for some reason.

I would rather two sculpts in perfect condition so I could look into selling them and wait for another doll similar, if not, my grail doll to come around.

Would you rather work and and work, running yourself ragged to save quickly for you next doll, or would you rather work a little, enjoying the pleasures of life and save for your next doll slowly.

 

I'd rather save up more slowly. I've done the opposite recently to have the funds for two soon to be discontinued dolls.

Would you rather have perfectly scaled living room or bedroom furniture?

 

Living room. I am hoping to put a living room set in my house at some point for them.

The hand. New hands are much easier to come by.

Would you rather have a perfect body in a slightly mismatched resin, or an okay body that was a perfect color match?

 

Perfect body with a slight mismatch. In fact, I have several already. I do not like settling for an "okay" body.

Would you rather have just one or two perfect outfits for each of your dolls, or lots of average, decent and plain clothes to choose from that you could make do with?

I am thinking I would rather have the former, when what I REALLY have is the latter!

Current collection. I've too many discontinued and unpopular sculpts, and I'd never be able to replace them.

Perfect wig. My dolls have lots of outfits, but only one or two wigs each.

A tiny, I think. But it really depends on the doll.

10 free bodies! I already have too many heads!

I would definitely rather cold and snowy! I think the snow is beautiful and I can't stand heat-- ;A;

I'd have a better time with untangling a wig then restringing.

One impressive doll, it's why I'm trying to achieve right now actually XD

I'd rather sell my computer. Since my mother, my father and my brother all have their own computers as well that I can use at any time it'd be no big deal for me. =D

Your friend offers you to buy any doll you want for you as a gift, no matter the cost. Would you rather use that chance to get a really expensive doll or tell your friend to buy you a fairly cheap one?

 

I would use it as an opportunity to get the next doll on my list who is also the cheapest left. Honestly any gift is wonderful and I wouldn't want to take advantage. Unless said friend was loaded and really just wanted to spend money on me

A TV show, because if I like the show there's more of it to watch.

I would rather be really good at sewing! Then I could make the complicated outfits I want on my dollies by myself~

On a similar topic, would you rather pay someone a lot of money to replicate an outfit for your doll or would you rather figure it out and piece it together yourself?

 

I'd rather piece it together myself. However, I'd probably get frustrated and have to outsource eventually.

Manly. I can sew, and there are way more feminine patterns out there for me to work with.
