I'd much prefer the horse, and I'd especially like one like the antique Japanese ones: White with lacquer saddle and orange tack.

Would you rather have a doll in a pastel fantasy color or a deep saturated hue?

 

Pastel~ I have never thought of the option, but now it sounds amazing!

Would you rather have a doll with fantasy legs or arms?

 

Fantasy legs, i might need the hands for props.

Would you rather have a natural colored wig or a crazy colored wig?

 

Natural coloured. I have a thing for realism (not that real people can't have crazy coloured hair)

Would you rather play and pose your doll constantly and have them break, or would you rather keep them safely in the box where they won't be damaged or become yellow yet hardly even seen?

 

I'd rather play with my doll.

Would you rather have to restring a doll you have never restringed before, or make a simple body modification you have never done before?

 

Restring! If you get it wrong you can always try again.

Would you rather have your doll stolen and returned to you damaged or stolen and insurance paying you to get a new doll?

Would you rather get the chance to collaborate with a professional to design your own sculpt, or get any one sculpt for free?

 

Collaborate to design. That is really strange coming from me as I'm
completely creative challenged but ever since I started collecting I've
been looking for a satisfactorily mature 1/4 size boy sculpt. Mature 1/4
girls are easy but try to find a boyfriend for them.

Would you rather photograph your doll in a formal garden or in a
riverside park?

 

Riverside park. I have one near my house and it is the perfect place for photos

Would you rather put your dolls for display up on a high shelf or have them sitting on the ground?

 

As much as heights scare me for dolls, the floor is way more dangerous in my room... family members walking about when I'm not there, or even worse, horribly sleepy me not watching where I step.

Would you rather dress your male doll in female clothes or your female doll in very male clothes? (in both cases the clothes fit oddly)

 

Oh well, if I have to do... I maybe dress Caleb like a girl, but I don't think that's gonna be sexy in anyway xD Also I don't have any girl.


Would you rather take photografies for your doll in a sunny day or night with moonlight?

 

Sunny day. My camera can not handle the moonlight.

Would you rather have to touch your doll with sticky hands or have to wear gloves always when picking them up?

 

Sticky hands. That way I wouldn't drop them!

Would you rather one of your dolls comes to life and transformed into human size OR would you rather one of your dolls comes to life and YOU are shrunk to doll size?

 

I'd rather one of them come to life and be human-sized. I'm already horribly clumsy and it would be a thousand times worse if I was suddenly two feet tall.

Would you rather have one of your favorite outfits in doll size or one of your doll's outfits in your size?

 

One of my doll's outfits in my size. Dolls have awesome clothes.

Would you rather get a new outfit for your doll or new eyes and wig for your doll?

 

New eyes and wig. I sew and am terribly picky about clothes matching what I see in my head.

Would you rather win a shopping spree at a doll company you don't like for $2000 or one at a company you do like for $500?

 

One I do like for $500! I only collect tinies so that would cover a whole doll!

$900 doll you can have immeadietly or $300 doll you have to wait 10 months for?

I'd rather have the 3 less expensive dolls and admire my grail from afar.

Would you rather have the sculpt you desperately want in the wrong resin color or an "okay" sculpt in the perfect resin?

 

How wrong is the resin color? If its a matter of a shade or two I would get the wrong resin color. BUT if I needed like white skin and got it in green say I don't know that I would want to deal with that and would select the okay doll in the correct color.

Would you rather take your dolls on vacation with you out of the country or have them with you on a vacation in your local area?

 

in the local area...after my most expensive doll broke 2 fingers...i have been very protect my dolls..

would you rather your doll only have one outfit or diffecult outfits?

 

definatly difficult, i cant imagine living my life like a cartoon character with one set outfit

would you rather your mother clean your room and goodwill your dolls or come home to your dog chewing on them (these arent things you want obviously kind of picking the better of the two)

Ten sounds better in my case, the faceups I paint tend to have a lot of layers to them ^^"

Good scenery. Lighting can be manipulated and brought in, and apertures and the like on a camera can be adjusted to make the most of poor lighting.

Would you rather take your dolls to a big aquarium for a photoshoot or to a nice botanical garden?

 

Botanical Garden, though the aquarium would be neat as well.

One fantastic outfit. Gotta be right or not at all.

reshape their eyes, dying a doll can end really badly.. at lest with at bad eye mod you can still have a perfect body..

Several cheaper ones, so I can shell more characters!

Beautiful single joints. I'm sick of having to cover up so-so double joints.

Multi jointed. I prefer posability over aesthetics, but if it was a doll that would be going shirtless a lot I might feel different.

Would you rather have a doll with facial hair, or a doll with no hair?

 

A doll with facial hair. I already have one Although I do like the idea of a doll with no hair.

Would you rather have a set of food and drink accessories for your doll or have a set of craft accessories that were doll sized for your doll? i.e. a mini easel and paint set or something.

 

I have a painting easel for my kids and it is the coolest prop

Reality settings. It makes any surreal or fantasy elements that much more fantastic.

Would you rather have a horror-themed doll or a fantasy-themed doll?

 

Fantasy, I actually get scared of horror themed dolls! (I get scared of horror themed everything if I have to be honest)

Would you rather have an immense wardrobe for your dolls with tons of outfits but just that, or a lot of props/house but a very limited wardrobe?

 

Props. As long as they each have their own outfit.

Would you rather have a doll with fantasy parts (hooves, horns, ect) or in fantasy colors?

 

I'd definitely choose fantasy parts over colors, much more exciting! Especially hooves and horns, they're a big weakness of mine.

Would you rather mod your doll if you discovered certain features of the sculpt you can't stand anymore, or sell it?

 

Mod. I've done it before, I'll do it again.

Flawed and quirky. Chances are the character I would have would be flawed and quirky.

Would you rather have a camera that takes high quality pictures with a doll you don't love that much. Or a camera that takes low quality pictures with a doll you adore?

 

Camera who takes low quality pictures. I like sharing my dolls but they are mine over all and want them to be the representations of my characters that I want them to be.

Would you rather give up browsing doll sites for a year or give up DoA for a year?

 

DoA for a year--I actually did that, but not the doll sites. XD

Improve on an existing one.

Hard one. I think it would depend on the sculpts and if I liked them.

Neither. I'm scared I'd stain her either way!! She'll stay at home and only come out for meets or for a garden photoshoot. No food-stains or accidental spills, please!

Larger! I love big dolls, though my wallet doesn't!

Snobbish restaurant. XD I love making people turn heads. I'd put him in his nicest suit and even bring in one of those clip-on high chairs they sell to little girls for their American Girl-sized dolls. I'd probably tell the waiter that he'd like to see the wine menu too.

Would you rather take your doll to a birthday party or a cocktail party?

 

I think a cocktail party, maybe...probably safer and not as rowdy.

Would you rather mod a bad sculpt or repair a perfect sculpt that is broken?

 

Repair a perfect sculpt that is broken. At least that way I would have an idea what it would look like.

Would you rather photograph your dolls with a beautiful backdrop but in terrible outfits or a terrible backdrop but beautiful clothes?

 

Beautiful clothes, because I can always try find a better background later. Or at least, a neutral one.

Would you rather paint your own fingernails, or your doll's nails?

 

My fingernails. I'm a nail technician, so I am trained to paint nails. Though I imagine a dolls nails wouldn't be too hard once I practice. But for now, my nails are much easier!!

Would you rather own a beautiful doll with permanently glued in eyelashes or a bad sculpt with remove-able eyelashes?

 

Beautiful doll with glued in lashes hands down! I hate eyelash application.

Would you rather have your doll stained by their wig or yellowed by the sun?

 

An inexpensive doll i like.

Would you rather take 3 damaged dolls or 1 mint condition doll?

 

Inexpensive doll that I like a lot. I have no desire to resell a doll, so its monetary value doesn't mean much to me. If I love it, then I love it, whether it's expensive or not.

Would you rather have a doll with a stained face from a bad face up but great sculpt or bad sculpt with no stains?

 

I'll answer both questions. I'd rather have 1 mint condition doll because I can't mod to save my life, and I'd takes a bad sculpt with no stains- in my book, there's no such thing as a "bad" sculpt anyway. The right face up and customization can make any sculp look good.

Would you rather take your doll to the beach on a really crowded and sunny day with no umbrella, or take your doll to the house of a relative with very young and rambunctious children?

 

I'd rather not do either! But if you twisted my arm, I'd take a tiny to the beach.

You have a total weight limit on your dolls. Would you rather a large doll, or several smaller dolls?
