Hmm no soom dolls ever! They were one of the first websites I stalked not gonna lie! But I haven't fallen for one of their dolls in a long time and have fallen out of love with the one I did. ;u;

Would you rather have a bjd that would 'yellow' to have pastel pink skin or one that would 'yellow' to another outrageous color but a color unknown to you until it revealed itself through age? o:

 

I would pick the one that "yellows" to pastel pink. I don't mind pastels. The random one has a chance of giving colors I really don't care for, like neons.

Would you rather have a doll with disproportionally large ears or disproportionally large nose?

 

Depends. If the ears were elf ears, I'd say ears. I prefer the really long elf ears over the short ones. If not, I'd say nose. I like a strong nose; gives a sculpt a little something different, a bit of character.

Would you rather have a collection of dolls you could only see on the weekends, or one doll that you could see every day?

 

See them all on the weekends.

Would you rather have all SDs or no SDs?

 

HMNN..im going to say id rather have no SDs
Only because i live in a small dorm and have almost NO room!!

Would you rather accidentally forget your doll at a con (With the chance of being able to pick it up again!!) Or find drop your doll and break an important part of it?

 

...I think I'd rather forget my doll at a con. Hopefully some nice dolly person will hold onto them until I finish panicking and retrace my steps.

You have a surprise nasty expensive bill pop up! Would you rather: sell a doll to help cover it, or try to get the money elsewhere? [i.e. ramen for all three meals for a month]

 

Try to get the money from eslewhere. Selling a doll is a last resort like......selling a kidney!
A friend wants to start doll collecting: would you rather, sell them one of your older doll (you might be able to buy it back later) or convice them to buy a brand new doll (we'er talking like limited edition Price)?

 

I don't think I could bring myself to sell them my older doll... I love all my dolls so much, and I'd be scared that they would lose interest and get rid of it/never play with it. So I would rather convince them to buy a brand new doll.

If someone gave you a doll as a Christmas present and you didn't like it, would you rather sell it and get a doll that you do want (and risk upsetting the person) or keep it and try your best to make it fit in with your collection?

 

Sell it, they'd understand.

Would you rather get a mature or childish looking doll?

 

Childish. I'm fond of cute things and that aethetic better fits childish dolls.

Would you rather have only tinies or no tinies at all?

 

I'd rather have no tinies at all...Not too sure if yosds count as a tiny, then I want two and only two. Or even just one. I do enjoy the larger scale dolls c:

Would you rather take photos of your doll inside or out?

 

Inside, but next to a window.

You have a spare room din your house and money's not a big issue: Would you rather buy tons of dolls and fill the room or use the space to spoil the dolls you already have? (ie. doll sized walk in closet and entire house for them)

 

I think I would spoil them and get more dolls, Provided that that room also had my sew stuff in it.

Moneys getting low and your on your last payment for a doll but you come up a bit short, would you rather try to sell less used doll acssories to try to make the payment on time or ask one of you doll friends to loan you some money to make the payment?

 

Sell less used doll accessories - item's can be replaced later on, awkward friendship rifts, not always. I don't consider a doll payment important enough to borrow money.

You have a super klutzy moment, and both your beloved doll & your beloved camera are flying to the floor. You can only save one, and they are both worth about the same amount of money. Which would you save?

 

My doll. I am way more attached to my doll than my camera. I can always get a new camera of that model, of the doll I may not be able to replace it.

Would you rather have one SD sized doll that you adore, or 3 smaller dolls that you like?

 

I'd Say one SD as long as I can have multiple heads.

Would you rather meet your favorit TV/Movies Star in person or Win the Lottery?

 

Win the lottery! For sure.

If money was no option, would you rather get all the dolls you want right now and have them arrive at the same time, or get one doll, allow yourself time to make that doll perfect, and then get the next doll (and repeat until you have all the dolls you want)?

 

I am perfectly happy with just my one doll, but if I was a serious collector as apposed to a serious player, I'd say one at a time. I may order a second before the first arrives, but I'd only want one every few months until the novelty of a new doll wears off a bit.

Would you rather get a new doll or get a new pet?

 

New Doll. I can bearly take care of my self let aloan and Much smaller being.

Christmas Movie Choice: Nightmare Before Christmas or A Christmas Story?

Don't want it to end because I've got one too many clients in a hurry to launch their projects because it's the new year.

Would you rather have a doll that you could never put a wig on or a doll you could never give a faceup? (For whatever sorcery would prevent you from doing so, just roll with it.)

 

Eeh, wig I guess. I'd just make them a thief who always wear a hood. :3

Would you rather get a perfect doll you hate, or one you love that's so yellowed/stained you couldn't hide/fix it?

 

I'd say Yellowed and Stained. That means there is a story there and I'm a sucker for a good story.

Buy brand new clothing for your doll only to find it dosn't fit or can't find the right props for you dolls character?

 

Can't find the props. I don't necessarily "need" props for good pictures, but I do need fitting clothing

Would you rather buy a wig for one doll and not have it fit, but it fits on another doll you own or would you rather have the wig fit but in a different color? Also, you can't return/refund either of them.

 

I think I'd rather have it in a different colour. My dolls often change their hair colour anyway

So, imagine your new doll has just arrived and you have to go pick it up from the post office. But your only form of transport is your own feet, and the post office is an hour's walk away. Would you rather walk and get it straight away (and have to lift a heavy doll box for an hour to get it home), or wait a few days until someone can give you a lift?

 

An hour's walk? No biggie! ) Walk for sure. I'm hella impatient. xD

If your doll could only wear one themed outfit for the entire year (as in, 12 months) would you rather they wore a Christmas themed outfit or a Halloween themed one?

 

Christmas! I love Christmas, but Halloween is kind of meh.

Would you rather have a super girly girl doll or a super manyly man doll?

 

I'd rather have a super girly doll. I mean dresses and stockings and heels and curly wigs and just cute stuff would be awesome and keep me busy.

If your dolls came to life for a day would you rather them be human sized or stay whatever size they are?

 

Stay the size they are. That'd be fun and a lot less bodies in my tiny little apartment.

If your doll did come to life, would you rather they ate awful junkfood that's bad for you or good and healthy but expensive food?

 

I would say healthy stuff. Its six of one half dozen of the other with the economy as it is.

Wait a super-long time for the awesome item. Not the first time or the last.

I'd rather have a bone white doll - it's easier to bring color into a bone white doll than a black one in my mind. u vu

A doll that could walk and move. I think I would find it creepy if it could change its expression!

Never buy another doll again. I think I would be satified with just changeing the clothing and other thing on the ones I have.

I'd rather make something similar, but cheaper. That way I could buy more wigs, other cloths, so on and so forth!!

Would you rather have a feminine male or masculine female doll? (Like, face sculpt and body wise...even though girly guys are quite easy to find... >.>)

 

Once upon a time I would have said feminine male, but my tastes have done a complete 180 these last few years and nowadays masculine female doll is waaaaay more my thing. I love my girls. I actually have a masculine female doll planned and I have a feeling she's going to be one of my favourites. Super excited about her.

If your dolls came to life, would you rather be able to see them but not hear them, or hear them but not see them?

 

Definitely see her but not hear her, I would hate not seeing her plus it may be a little creepy hearing things but not seeing anything.

Would you rather all your boy dolls turned into girls or all your girl dolls became the opposite of their current sizes? (If that makes any sense ^^')

 

My girl can become a different size. She's 62cm and has four arms... she's rather unwieldy. Any size reduction might be an improvement.

Would you rather have to dress all your dolls in sock dresses or paper towel mockups?

 

Sock dresses. DOA had a contest to make an outfit from socks, and some of them turned out spectacular.

Would you rather have a blue ice fairy or a green forest spirit doll?

 

Blue ice fairy. I've always liked fairies and I've got disney's Frozen on the brain right now.

Water faerie because I'm creating a race of blue people. lol

Light, it's always nice to have a little extra light when you need it.


Would you rather have the ability to make amazing, detailed doll clothing or the ability to paint flawless face ups?

 

Oh, that one's really tough. I make my own doll clothing so the obvious answer is amazing, detailed clothing. But I have always been so jealous of people who can paint good face ups! I think I would trade my sewing ability for face up painting ability. I think it is overall a better skill to have. That way I wouldn't have to send all my dolls away to complete strangers to get painted and not get to see them for weeks or even months.

Would you rather be really good at sewing one particular kind of clothing (like, jeans or shirts or fancy dresses) or be just alright at sewing a wide range of different kinds of clothing?

 

Considering my life is filled with mediocrity spread across a bevy of different hobbies, I'd really like to be spectacular at sewing 19th/20th century clothing and fantasy dresses.

Would your doll rather be poor at a job they love or rich at a job they hate?

Pronounced nose; those can be super cute for my personal aesthetics. Like a little beak :3

Would you rather have a doll with scented resin that always smells delicious/wonderful, or a doll that never yellows?

 

I asked Lovely about this, and her answer made me laugh. She would want the scented doll, but I'd prefer the doll the doesn't yellow.

Faceup for sure! I've been working hard to improve mine so that'd be awesome!

Face up of my dreams. Since Ive never done a face up befor it would be so cool to have the ablity to do this.

limited edition clothing. My dolls don't really need extra parts. Except high heel feet maybe. Limited edition clothing would be more useful and exciting to me

And because we seem to have skipped illegallyginger's question: I'd rather have my dream doll in a different size. I think I could reshuffle my plans to make a doll in the wrong size be right. But I'd never be content if I never found it at all.

Would you rather have a doll with a beautiful body that poses perfectly but has just an averagely attractive face, or a doll with an ugly, difficult to pose body and your idea of the perfect face?

 

Wonderful posing abilities with an average looking face. Doll heads are relatively easy to replace, but bodies that can pose really well (and look beautiful while doing it) are hard to come across.

Would your doll rather eat dumplings or cereal? (I'm hungry. Can't you tell?)

 

Dumplings! At least then I could sneak in some veggies!

Like colour? If so, then eyes. I'm not too picky about them, but Cao is forever a silver-haird dude. B>

Edger is more of a tea drinker, while Jarith is a forced juice drinker (last time I let him near Caffeine, things got broken)
