Perfect face-up. I don't care for blushing so I'd probably get that removed, and I have enough wigs that I could toss a crappy one.

Would you rather go to a doll meetup or host one?

 

Host one! I've spent way too many $$$ on airplane tickets to get to them this year.

Would you rather style a lambskin wig or a mohair (no skin) wig?

 

Probably mohair. I don't really have a reason, though fur with the skin still on does kind of give me the creeps.

Would you rather have a doll meet in a crowded restaurant or outside in the sun?

 

At a crowded restaurant. Being a the fair skinned redhead type, the sun isn't good for me *or* my dolls :P

Imagine you got someone else's order by accident, with two (nice enough) dolls but not the one you ordered. Would you rather ship them back and wait even more for the one you ordered, or keep the "doll error in your favor"?

 

Most definitely ship the wrong order back. If it's a mistake that means someone got my singular doll which I painstakingly saved for, and wants their two dolls. Plus if the company goofed it should mean a reimbursement for shipping the doll back.

It's Halloween and your doll has no costume!!!! They call a friend but the only spare costume said friend has is a space outfit made of lame, you know that shinny stretchy material, and a skeleton kigarumi, one piece baggy jump suit style costume. Which does your doll pick?

 

Cordiel goes for the kigurumi. He loves kigurumi and might keep it. Leah passes out the candy, so she doesn't dress up.

Would you rather buy from only ONE company ever again, or in ONE size?

 

I'd rather buy from only one company. Doll-Zone is my usual spot to look things up BJD.

Would you rather paint doll eyes yourself or buy them professionally for more money on the net?

 

Buy them.

Permanently attached horns. That could be his character. But I'd still want to test out a lot of wigs on him! (or her!)

Would you rather have a doll with plain single-jointed knees or odd-when-bent but double-jointed knees?

 

Odd-looking double-jointed knees. ^_^ What can I say, I'm a sucker for posing.

Would you rather have a doll with the worst possible posing ability, but lovely aesthetics, or a doll that could do anything you wanted it to, but was less than pleasing to the eye when naked?

You always wanted a specific doll in one specific resin color. If he/she isn't not anymore available in this combination,
would you rather have the doll with another resin color or search for a similar BJD in that resin color?

 

something like that is happening to me at the moment I would always go for the sculpt that I love, regardless of available resin colour. would you rather lots of nice, but cheap dolls, or one, special/limited expensive doll? Quantity or quality?

 

Considering I have BOTH that's a bit hard for me to answer, but I have to admit I've gotten dolls in the MP reasonbly rather than brand new, & only have a couple REALLY expensive ones w/no real desire to have any more, so I guess I'd have to go w/quantity. Cause I cannot have only one doll....

Ok, would you rather have an attached wig (or sculpted hair) - or eyes that wouldn't come out ever? IE if you could never change a wig or eyes which would you choose to stay the same?

 

The hair. If the eyes can't be changed, then you can't move the eyes to look in different directions.

Would you rather have a full set doll, or not so you can get the wig, eyes, and clothes all your own? (I'm thinking of getting a full set)

 

I'm an absolute mess at designing and/or picking out clothes...so full-set I guess. But only if I'm sure I couldn't make the outfit!

Okay! Would you rather have a doll photoshoot in the pouring rain, or howling wind? Both of which are happening right outside my window...

 

Pouring rain. Both conditions are pretty sucky for photoshoots, but I think that windy conditions would be harder to deal with.

Your crew is going out to dinner. Majority rules. Do they end up getting pizza or sushi?

 

Pizza. I think both of my girlies would die before eating raw fish; it's odd because I'd personally choose sushi over pizza any day.

Choice between a bright pink version of a doll [you'd been longing to own for ages] or a smaller version of it (say reduced in size by 50%).

I would have to say a smaller version as pink is not a color I would normally consider for resin.

Small local meet with some friends. I prefer smaller gatherings anyway.

Military uniform, for sure. It's really hard finding a nice uniform for my SoulDoll Shaun; all the good ones are SD sized.

Would your doll prefer cookies or ice cream?

 

Leah likes cookies. Less messy and they travel. Sometimes Siri will wrap peanut butter cookies in napkins and put them in Leah's food pack when she goes out for a few days.

Would your doll rather go out or stay at home?

 

^ Qwill and Roane like to go out and dance. Hannah and Kaz are about 50/50. Kaz ends up at a lot of art functions as part of his job. Chulyen's a homebody.

I think the museum would be best for my group. I have a few bookworms, but I think most everyone would be happy at a museum. ^_^

As long as the people watching stayed out of the pictures, I'd rather be in the ideal public place. I'd be willing to put up with staring for beautiful scenery.

In the woods! Lucian is more forest-y than ocean-y anyway. Plus, it'd be a perfect spot for a future cosplay photoshoot! Two birds wih one stone!! "

Leah's all about coffee, which is a great disappointment to her traditional Japanese parents.

Too small. Too big would be hard to find clothing for, I imagine. And I could always mod on breasts. It would be more difficult to try to... sand down? too large of breasts.

I actually had this happen a few months ago and I managed to just grab my sds so I guess it would be my favorite dolls. (luckily my house wasn't damaged too badly it was just smoked out)

Win a free doll I don't care for because then I could trade it for a sculpt I would be happier with.

I wouldn't have the skills to create a unique a pretty sculpt -- fullset! I love clothes design, that would be...just..awesomely fun. ^_^

I'd rather have one that is a bit off. One that tangles too easily would drive me crazy.

...DoA any day. I think both of my dolls are underage to be using facebook. I think you have to be 13 to use it..?

To the park! There's a lovely walking park just across the street from me, but it is unfortunately closed for construction.
