Ummmm would you rather only be allowed to buy new accessories for the next 3 years or only be allowed to buy new dolls?

 

As long as I could make accessories, I pick dolls.

Would you rather go a month without your dolls, or have them there, but bald, naked, and eyeless for 6 months?

 

Oh no, that's so hard!! If they were at my apartment with my roommate though, I could have her send me a daily picture or so and she could set up scenes with her dolls too, so that might be ok.

Would you rather be only able to buy one doll you really like every three years, or up to 10 dolls you only sort of like every year, regardless of price?

 

Ooo that's a tough one for me. I guess I'm going to go with 10 dolls that I sort of like, just because 3 years is SUCH a long time and I'm so impatient. Plus I can turn a doll whose sculpt I sort of like into something unique and special through customization, so I imagine I would love them all the same

Would you rather own a pricey "quality" doll that had just an okay sculpt and faceup, or have a "low quality" doll that had a beautiful sculpt and faceup?

 

I'd take the "low quality" any day over a high dollar doll that doesn't even look good. That is an all win scenario right there.

Would you rather pay a ridiculous amount of money for a second hand doll, or buy it from the company at normal price, but they end up sending you the wrong doll?

 

I'd rather have pay the company price and get the wrong doll, at least they would fix their mistake you would just have to wait a little longer

Would you rather attempt to make the perfect accessories for your doll or buy something that isn't quite what you wanted?

Well, I guess it comes down to what it is, really! I can sculpt and cast props if I have to, I can make some jewelry, simple clothes, etc., but I have no faith in myself when it comes to very specific and complex clothes, shoemaking, very involved metalworking, or wig making ovo;;;
Of course, there's always commissioning someone more qualified to do the job if you don't mind paying~

Would you rather be a faceup god or be equally genius at making clothes?

 

Making clothes. I love to sew and make clothes, but I know I could be way better. I don't enjoy doing faceups very much.

Would you rather get a LE full set with all the option parts, or get 3 nude basic dolls?

 

I would rather get three nude dolls. Increase the hoard faster

Would you rather have fully dressed dolls, but with no faceup/body blushing, or a faceup/body blushing but no clothes?

I would rather have all SDs. It's the big boys (and girls) for me.

Would you rather have a doll that looks like your favorite celebrity or one that represents your own character?

 

Definitely one that represents my own character! Its so much more personal and after your finished creating it you can sit back and be like....that was all me, my own character just became a reality!

Would you rather have a slightly damaged second hand doll of your dreams or your second favorite doll brand new?

 

Definitely the slightly damaged one! As long as the damage wasn't too bad. I really have to love a doll before buying, so always first preference!

Would you rather buy a fantasy-style doll (eg with pointed ears, horns) or a more realistic looking doll?

 

Fantasy doll all the way!

Would you rather sell a doll you really like to get your dream doll or would you wait for another one to come around years later when you had the money?

Would you rather have the smaller version of your favorite sculpt or get one similar but the right size.

 

smaller version. my first doll was a minifee woosoo because I couldn't afford the big one, and I turned out to love him more than the big one (while on the other hand, I definitely don't like iplehouse Eric as much as I love Claude)

when looking for a seconhand doll, would you rather settle for a doll with the exact body type that you want (and maybe faceup / extras that you like), but the wrong colour OR get one the right colour but with the wrong body type? (think of companies who have different bust size, extra joints and that kind of options)

 

Wrong color but right body type. I'm picky about body types, resin color not so much!

Would you rather only buy dolls that you somewhat like but have super fast shipping so you get it in a week or only buy amazingly beautiful and perfect dolls that you'd have to wait 6+ months for each one.

 

I would prefer to buy the dolls I thought were amazingly beautiful! I want to LOVE my dolls. It takes me a long time to shop for them, so the wait isn't a big bother.

Would you rather your doll had an under bust joint or ribcage joint?

 

I'm not sure what the difference is, but I'll go for... ribcage? It might look healthier slouching that way.

If you had an elf doll, would you prefer a realistic elf with the traditional pointed ears, or an extremely stylized elf with fancier ears?

 

I will actually be doing a mod for my Sabik to give him longer, more prominent ears. I think they look really cool.

Would you rather buy a doll you want second hand for a lot more than the original but with extra stuff (faceup, clothes, wig etc.) or for really cheap but in not so great condition?

 

More expensive but original with extra stuff because yay extra stuff!

Would you rather your dolls have strictly defined genders (girls look really girly and vice versa) or be more androgynous?

 

That's a hard one, because it depends on the doll's personality for me ^^ so I'm 50/50 on that one. I'm not 100% big on the "girly girls", except when it comes to Chiisa... mainly because I'm a tomboy at heart myself. Kadan on the other hand... he's a little skater boy. Then again, he's currently my ONLY boy so I can't say much.

You have money to go on a dolly shopping spree, would you buy more jewelry and accessories, clothes and shoes, or wigs and eyes?

 

I would get lots of wigs and eyes. I'm so picky about eyes and the only pair I like so far is always out of stock and in blue (I need green). So I would just buy a ton of eyes until I found others I liked. I would also get lots of the same fur wigs and save them for the future.

Would you rather buy an outfit as a set, or in individual pieces?

 

^ separate pieces Cuz I don't always like all the parts that come in full sets

Haha he would probably want more clothing and accessories, it would be pretty tight living quarters with another one in the house right now and sharing isn't his favorite thing to do...

One with the faceup. It's fun shopping for clothes, wigs, shoes, and eyes anyway!

Would you rather have one head and a bunch of bodies or one body and a bunch of floating heads?

 

Heads, having a bunch of floating heads is somehow less weird than owning a bazillion bodies. Plus, they could all share the body. It's almost like having a bunch of different dolls.

Would you rather have one wig to share between all your dolls, or one pair of eyes. (Assuming either would fit all of them)

Floatin heads so I can practice face-ups.

Pure white, I love pale dolls.

I'll take hands and feet that are too big. Volks is starting to do that with their Dollfie Dream big sized hands anyway. ^_^;;;

Probably a doll that couldn't stand. If I could sit my dolls down at night, I would freak out thinking that they could topple over in the middle of the night. Plus, I've had a doll that couldn't stand for a while and it's really not that bad. Still plenty of good pictures can come out of sitting poses.

Would you rather have a doll that's always cross eyed, or one with hair that's always ridiculously messed up?

 

Definitely cross eyed, I find that so adorable on some dolls and I'm ocd when it comes to messy wigs.

Would you rather have a doll that was sculpted after you or after your favorite actor/actress?

 

Favorite actor/ actress. An Alan Rickman or David Tennant doll would be cool!

Would you rather have your dolls all have similar styles or all really different styles? (Hair, clothes, eyes, ect?)

I'll take the crack. I'm sure I can hide it or work it into the doll's personality somehow.

I'd rather them be photogenic. I'm used to my dolls not standing very well anyway.

If you discovered the new doll you ordered came with two differently blushed hands (one more reddish than the other,especially the nails), would you rather wipe off both hands immediately or live with it until it's time for blushing them anew anyway?

 

I don't blush hands (that failed miserably). But if I did I'd rather redo them. I've done a few faceups, and I've always redone them if I think it's uneven.

Would you rather have a huge dollhouse room completely outfitted down to working wall outlets and perfectly scaled furniture but only one doll and low on doll funds, or have every doll you've ever wanted but no space at all to keep them?

 

Holy cow, I'd take the doll house Like wow, I would want that so bad.

I would rather have a perfect character face-up. I can make clothes but my face-up skills are really lacking. ^_^

Well if getting my dream doll depended on sending the other doll back, then I would!

Would you rather have a ton of shoes that didnt fit your dolls right, or too many wigs in the wrong styles and colors?

 

Tons of shoes. I'm really picky about wigs and they need to look perfect. Most of the time my dolls just go barefoot anyways.

Would you rather own clothes that are too small for your dolls, or shoes that are too big?

 

Shoes that are too big...I can always stuff them or make them wear socks.

If you were given a gift certificate to a random doll shop for $300 but could only spend it on either only wigs or only shoes, what would you rather spend it on?

All Tan dolls.

tan dolls. I worry greatly about their colour and refuse to get them out, but I hate white skin...

Well, neither would make sense, but Vega does have some pretty cool clothes now, so I'd want his outfit.

Broken. At least I could fix it or send it off to get fixed.

Feminine boys because that's what most of my characters look like.
