These photos are wonderful!!! They make the world look amazing!!! And I love to see the dollies living with us

So here's my contribution..... I live in a small village near the middle of Michigan.

Here's Destruction looking out over part of the Peace-Athabasca Delta in northern Alberta, Canada. It's one of the largest inland deltas in the world. He's perched on one of the westernmost outcroppings (south of the 60th parallel) of the Canadian Shield, some of the oldest rocks in the world. ^-^



The delta is in Wood Buffalo National Park, the second largest national park in the world and the biggest in Canada at 44 806 square kilometres. Wood Buffalo is where I currently work. ^-^ But where Destruction is sitting is outside of the park, while the delta in the distance is inside the park. Up here, the park and the delta are the landmarks!

Well, I don't actually live here, but I took my darling girls to Mount Baker, about an hour from my home, last weekend. Its definitly some interesting scenery. Well, kinda. I just think the girls look great.

the beach is littered with lovely flat stones, and I love to build things with them...so, apparently, does Rada.



my builder boyfriend was really impressed with this stairway up to the amazing root system. in the background you can also see the stone "couch" I built!

On the Roof Terrance of the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, a performing arts centre here in Singapore. Locally, the Esplanade has been nicknamed the Durian.

Overlooking my moms green house. I keep meaning to take Sera in there and give her a tour, but it's really dusty, and I don't envy the scrubbing she'll have to get when we're done.

 

Vincent and I took the 20 minute trip to Chimney Beach, Lake Tahoe on Tuesday. Lake Tahoe is the reason I haven't moved out of state yet. Pardon the flyaways, it was absurdly windy that day.

 

Most of these were taken a few hours from my house, up on the Mogollon Rim, in a charming place called Potato Lake. I've wanted to take pictures there for a long time. Now I have






A shot of the lake itself. It's pretty tiny, but everything is really lush and green. I love it up there.

I'm from New Hampshire. It's pretty nice around here but it's nowhere near where I live. And because I don't have a car to drive, this is what I have to work with.

That's the basic scenery until you reach my town, or Dallas. w~

That's an apartment complex out there...it's near/in the Arts District. I suspect I took this at the END of a morning route or at the BEGINNING of an afternoon route...probably the latter XD

 

Well, since I got outside long enough today to take a few pictures, here's one of Rasputin looking out at the lake behind my house [and I do mean that literally - that post over his shoulder is literally about a foot behind that fence, and several feet deep in the water!]

Well it's nothing spectacular, but since I was taking photos of Dieter sitting by the window, I figured I'd try and get a good shoot of the backyard, the grassy hill behind our house and the rows of houses on top of the hill lol. I wish where I lived was more exciting or had some famous landmarks or something

Soye near the Anthony Van Dyck statue. He was a famous Flemish painter from the 17th century.


This is 'De Meir', the main shopping street/area of Antwerp.



Behold Antwerp's pride and joy ............. "Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal" or "The Cathedral of Our Lady" in Antwerp, built in 1351. It's listed on the World's Heritage Site list.

No, not really. It's just the actor Axel Daeseleire promoting the 'Ode to Antwerp's Dialect' week. Basically, it's an event where we appreciate Antwerp's dialect.
BTW We Flemish people have a LOT of dialects. Makes me pity foreigners learning Dutch. 'Cause once they hear us talk, they get all confused.

Thanks, JennyNemesis! It's a shopping center called Crocker Park, which is in Westlake, Ohio. Gorgeous place. They have a giant chess set which is fun to play with.

Alright, as promised [a few days ago], here are some pictures from my latest shoot with Mello! She brought her Volks Bianka, Ismene, and I brought Alice up to Lake Minnewaska [about 30 minutes away].

Over the weekend I took Isaac with me for some pics around my tiny hometown in Northern California. But, the sun wouldnt play nice at all and invaded in a lot of the photos.






These ones turned out kind of funny. I either had to focus on Isaac's face, or the scenery. But the scenery was kind of the point so I chose it instead ^^;

I have a contribution too! Home is Victoria, BC, but I'm in Japan for half a year, teaching English, so here are a few shots of my home-away-from-home, a "leopalace" in smalltown Gunma.

Ugly grey cement walls, and pretty tiled rooves. This place definitely has character...



In this picture, look for the mirrors in the background that help you see if traffic's coming, despite the fact that your view is always blocked by high cement walls right up to the corner.




Here's the view down the lane. Vasilisa wants to get out of this small town and back to somewhere with bright lights and big shopping (I think she's thinking of Tokyo...).

 

Ohh I've got some to add. Not all have dolls in, I hope that's ok.

But the thing I like best of all is that I live about 40 minutes away from Hollycombe steam collection, with original steam engines, steam strains, steam carousels and more. These pics, don't have dolls in them, but I'm sure you'll all appreciate the scenery:




This by the way, is the view of the South Downs and also the woodland surrounding Hollycombe. Both these are taken while riding the steam train.

 

This picture is so beautiful! She is just lovely, and I adore the background.

 

They're all so lovely. I can tell why photographers love these dolls especially.

This is what most of the town looks like. Nothing but houses and farm land.

 

I love Pa in the fall... Although not so much right now. We might get 1 to 4 inches of snow tomorrow. X_X It's too early for that. I'll take fall all year round.
