World Where You Live (show me the scenery!)

Me and my housemate have been planning to run around York taking lots of pictures with our dolls, but the weather is really aweful at the moment >: I do have some older examples though, just to give everyone a taste...

Its awesome living in a medieval city.

I don't live in London, but I'm just outside a short train journey away.

Kira likes to visit the city often.

 

A couple shots from Zero's (and mine) trip to Lake George, New York. I don't leave there, but I do live in NY a few hours away.

 

Here's a shot overlooking one of the highly traveled road in the city.

 

Well I live in garland, tx but the first pic i bring is actually from ft.worth,tx at the botanical gardens... it's just ric and full of nice scenery and Takanori really loved it.



Went down to Garland's towne centre (lol it's not really the town centre, it's the city's half ass attempt to move the spirit of our downtown by making a huge outdoor mall) on night with some friends one night a couple of weeks ago




and when i fist found out how much i like that same fountain there.... wataru was tryin' to be cool.


And often the dolls will come out in the car with me when i am not driving... Ragnarok and the great garland traffic behind him.

 

The aftermath of our devastating (Federal Disaster Area level) ice storm here in Oklahoma. It's like this EVERYWHERE. Poor Muse is horrified.

 

haha sucks to be me in SG. I have the saddest scenery. LOL

It's sunny San Diego, California, where sun shines 200+ days a year.

 

Snowy world~~ I don't live there, it's in the north of Sweden, but we went there on the holiday ^^

 

I figured I should post again now that I went home for Christmas. My hometown is Gettysburg, PA, so my mom (who loves my doll nearly as much as I do) and I went out on the battlefield Christmas morning. Any Civil War buffs may recognize the sites, though it's not as pretty as in summer.

Here is a photo of my CH Honey Hani, Hannah, at the convent above our town. We live in Estepa, Seville Province in southern Spain. It is really beautiful here as you can see!



And here is a photo of Narsha when she visited a local donkey sanctuary to adopt a donkey. Still getting the focusing right on my camera!!!

 

Not really scenery but a common sight in the south....

My Waffle went with me to Japan. Here are some shots of her on our adventures!

 

When it finally stops raining here and blowing a gail I will vacate the sanctuary of my flat and get some decent pictures of the sea, which is at the end of my street! Untill then I have one crappish picture of the back allies (or ginnels as we call them up north!) behind my house.

 

Went out today with my mum and took these pictures. Figured I could post them here as they have scenery of where I live. These are on the way to my house. I have to cross the water to get to my road.

I love seeing all the other places...and I guess I can appreciate a bit of Kansas too, through my dolls eyes...and other people's. Sky, we do have a lot of that's for sure...and a lot of times even the sky has it's own personality, like in some of these pictures:

As Emily says, its boring here... And I am living in a small city, just 10 minutes walking down this mountain.She`s probably the only ball jointed doll within 50 miles ratio too... Need to buy her a friend.

I love this thread, so many interesting places ^_^ I want to do a tour around my city too, before I leave.

This is a picture I took on a mini-meetup in Stockholm. It's one of the central squares, Sergels Torg. I think it's really ugly .P Haha.
The stair they are sitting in is usually the emo-hangout <.< So it was kind of a joke when we made this picture. It was really cold so no emos there this day, even though weather usually doesn't stop them...

I must go to the hill near my house; then I can get a great shot of my town. This is dependent on several factors:

1. Need dollie minder to come with me
2. Need better weather (no wind!)
3. There are no children on the hill
4. There are no people dogging on the hill (gross! I'm not talking about walking the dog)

The last two are a problem because when number 3 is not there number 4 is. Trying to coincide all of the above points is proving to be difficult!

I'm sick and tired of people asking "So, you live in Mexico?" I hate it, and that's the only reason why I Always include usa after any reference to where I live. Didn't people ever take a geography class and learn New Mexico is a US STATE?
It's HOT out today. Like seriously, probably something close to 74 degrees Fahrenheit. It should NOT be this hot in February. It's not fair. But anyway, All pictures were taken in my backyard. (and they look bad because I resized them, and it destroyed the quality)

me - Well, not really. It's a strange tree. It has leaves on it, and they just sit there. They bloomed out, and have stuck there for 2 years. If the tree was dead, the leaves would have fallen off long ago. And yet, it never blooms again...

Even though it looks like his head is balancing on top of that wheelbarrow, and also looks like his legs are resting on the other thingies, they're not. He was sitting on top of the wheel all by himself. He amazes me... a lot.
