I know right. This is my first time ordering from WITHdoll and I didn't expected it to be done so quick.

I was just told that my little fox Lucy will take another 2 weeks to ship

It is probably because of the faceup and clothing. The Fox Lucy that has shipped already was blank. But at least you have a time frame of when to expect her ^^

 

I ordered the same options on the same day, so I guess that 2 weeks applies to me, too.

 

Yeah, I'm just bummed because I was told she would ship last week.

I've always suspected complaining makes things take longer, but you may well be right!

 

I just noticed that my order status has changed "On Shipping"! My Efl Ruby is coming! I am so excited!

You seem to have used an older list, because 2 shipping notices from May and one order from August have disappeared.

I just paid off my Cecily~

I can't wait! I was originally going to pay off Adriana first but because Cecily was a bit cheaper I went with her first Now the real wait begins

 

Withdoll is officially giving me a headache.

I lost my Vera head on its way to the faceup artist and Withdoll was kind enough to let me buy a replacement almost 2 months ago. 3 weeks ago I asked if they had a shipping estimate and was told my head would ship the same week. Last week, after not having received any shipping notice I asked again and was given the same message, but received an e-mail yesterday that my head was shipped.

But, the tracking number they gave me is just the order number from my original february order copy pasted, and the e-mail about the shipping didn't even come from the withdoll e-mail, it came from an "All Duality" address.

I'm so confused, is it even worth asking them again for a correct tracking number? I didn't have an order number this time seeing as everything was done via the QnA board, but this all seems rather odd to me.

I would still contact them and explain the email you received and ask for a real tracking number. Good luck ^^

giggling because as soon as I read your username on the alerts I knew a pumpkin head had to have been ordered XD

Glad to see it be ordered though. I would love to see more of them floating around. They make such interesting dolls. If I did not have so much going on this month I would try to order one myself XD

Oh trust me, the moment I saw it I legit screamed.
I have an OC with a pumpkin head I and I cosplayed them last Halloween, and I absolutely HAVE to re-create the costume in small scale. I would never forgive myself if I missed out on the pumpkin head! :P

I'll probably put it on the Emma body for a few pictures when I get it, but it won't be there permanently.
It'll probably end up on a DC body eventually, I love their aesthetic and already want 2 of their bodies for other characters lol

I was actually wondering if it would do well on a DC body XD I think it should probably work okay, I have a DC K02 body that I have tried my Withdoll heads on for fun and it didnt seem to be a bad fit. What color of skin were you thinking about?

I was thinking white or grey, they're like a ghost/spirit type being, so either would really make them look spooky. :3c

MY ELF EMMA HAS SHIPPED!!!!!

I am so excited AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! Elf Emma had become one of my grail dolls but it didnt feel like I was really getting her until now!

The head is going to be put on the male body I got my Elf Egon on and Elf egon will go on the female body Elf Emma is coming on. The two will be siblings named Imirie and Miridan. Imirie is all faceuped and has her eyes and wig, I just need to put her white eyelashes in and sew her some clothes. Am in the middle of a move though so that will have to wait a bit. Miridan is going to have to wait a bit as well before I can order his proper eyes and wig to match his sister, but I will probably post pics of him when he gets here regardless.

Congrats on getting your Ruby in!

 

The tracking for my Elf Emma didnt work until this morning, where it says just today it is at the Korean sorting center. Which I have seen happen a few times before so it really isnt a big deal to wait a few more days. I assume they had just printed the shipping label before but didnt get it to the shipping center until now.

Still hoping to get the package this friday or saturday though. I am in the midst of a move and do not want to stress which address it is going to.

 

Well either the tracking or the actual post office is being dumb. Yesterday it said at 9am it left the post office of the town next to me which is about an hour away. So I figured it would get here by 10am yesterday but our post office wouldnt scan and sort it until their overnight shift and it would arrive today as per their norm. But this morning the update of leaving the next town over yesterday at 9am is gone and now it says it left there yesterday at 3pm :/ Wish the postal system wasn't so weird lately.

Soooo I MIGHT get Elf Emma today or I will get it tomorrow.

Mine just shipped yesterday and she's already in my province..Might get her tomorrow! I'm surprised it's on time seeing as people who ordered in May still haven't received theirs. Do faceups always add that much time?

 

I have no idea what's going on with my order. I didn't order any face-up or blushing. I messaged them a few days ago, and no one since I have posted has gotten a response on the Q and A board. :/

 

There was Korean holiday last week, they were probably closed on holiday like other companies. I hope you'll get an answer soon ..! :0
Btw, when did you pay off your layaway? Because their page says it takes 8 weeks after full payment.

 

Ah, that makes sense. I'll likely get a response towards the end of the week then.

Only 8 weeks? Gosh, I was told 10. I paid it off June 18th, so it's been close to 14 weeks, not including the month before I finished my payment.

Besides the holiday they just had its probably also taking awhile because of your order being in RosyBrown UV. Darker skin tones seem to take longer since they tend to need to cast parts a few times to make sure the doll is an even color. (This issue is why they no longer offer the darker skins in non UV. It was taking them too many casts with the other resins and losing them a lot of money. UV resin is more consistent but it still can take a few castings to get it all matched well enough)

I was actually a bit surprised to get my Brown Tan UV doll so soon. I wasn't expecting it for another two or three weeks based on how long it took to get my last Brown Tan UV order.

I know, and if that's the case, I appreciate them taking the time to make my boy as best as possible. It would just be nice to have an update from Withdoll so I have something to pass along to the person who bought the armor off of my order. Maybe one of these days soon I'll just get a surprise package or something. That would certainly be nice.

 

I don't typically post into WRs, so I'm only now, very belatedly, adding my order in. I've been lurking here for a while, trying to see if I can get any idea of what's going on with WithDoll, but figured it might be helpful to post since I see someone else is having similar trouble to my own.

I ordered Vera 2/26, and made my final layaway payment on 4/29. I'm still waiting. I figured since I ordered her with the fullset, sword, and all, she might take a bit longer than the standard 8 weeks post-payment date.

I finally gave up and posted on their board on August 15 (15+ weeks after my final payment) to ask if there had been a problem, and if I could get an update. I thought they might let me know if there was a delay with getting the shoes or outfit from their supplier, or something of that nature. They just gave me an apology for the delay, with no explanation, and told me my doll would ship "next week."

More than 4 weeks later, on September 15th, I posted again to get an update. I was told the delay was due to the holiday -- which, as I understand it, only started in September. I'm not sure how that stopped my doll from shipping out when she was originally due (June-July) or when they said in August. I was given another "next week" estimate. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated; it's been over 20 weeks since my final payment. I really want to get my doll, and I'm trying very hard to be patient and understanding, but the dishonest answers have been incredibly disheartening.

@RenegadeStarSign I really hope you get better information than I have. I'll keep fingers crossed for you.

 

I hear you, @Malaryush ! Yours is the only order above mine that hasn't shipped. And out of all the little foxes, mine is the only one that hasn't shipped. There was nothing special about my order and I paid up front. An identical order shipped two weeks ago. I hate to bother them, because it's a small company and I don't want to take someone away from the more important work of getting the dolls out, but darn it, I want my dolls.

"Next week" appears to be the standard answer when someone asks when a doll will ship. WithDoll is not the only company that responds that way.

Well, there went just about any hope for this delay being resolved any time soon. Thank you so much for posting though. There is some comfort in knowing it's not just me.

Yeah, I've noticed that tendency. Happened to me with a custom resin matching service I had done with Mirodoll. I know things can take time, especially since I did go with the darkest resin possible, but an answer on how things are going beyond the "it will ship next week" response, or heck, even that answer would be great. It means they're noticing I've messaged them about it. Means I might someday actually get my doll...

I got a response from Withdoll! They said it will ship today! I don't know how true this actually is, and I'm not updating the list until I get a working tracking number, but there's an actual chance my baby boy will be home soon!

 

Congrats @RenegadeStarSign ! If it's true, that means there is hope for me and for Malaryush. (And I'm with you: it's not real until you get a working EMS number.)

 

At long last my little fox Lucy has shipped! No flight number yet, but she has been "received by air carrier".

I took some cruddy phone photos for the box opening, but I want to use my camera to take nice photos of him for here. I feel terrible though, I didn't have a thing waiting for him at home. He's so small, and so pretty, I just don't know what this boy should be...

 

Little fox Lucy is here! I can't believe it took her only 2 days to get here. She left Korea on Monday and arrived today shortly after noon. I'm not doing a box opening. Photo will be on the Withdoll Tinies thread.

Thank you for the concern! Fortunately, I actually have good news, at last! I was out of town on a trip for work over the weekend, so I hadn't been checking in, but when I got back Monday, I had a tracking number. It wasn't working at first, so I wasn't sure how much faith to have, but my package arrived yesterday, and I finally had time to get the box opened today. Everything arrived safely. I'm still a little unhappy with how the whole thing went down, but I have to say she looks stunning, and I'm so glad to finally have her home!



I'm so glad your package arrived as well! Hopefully that means whatever trouble they were having has been sorted out, and with any luck nobody else will have those odd, long waits!
