Well, I don't know why I'm doing this to myself, other than I completely fell in love with the girl's JWD body, and I ordered two of them today!!!! I haven't been this excited since.... December? LOL Seriously though, I really am looking forward to these but I put them on 6 months layaway, so it'll be a while

I finally caved in for another elf boy I have an elf Egon on layaway with BJDivas. He's going to be my character Miu.

I've seen a couple of waiting rooms lately with un-updated wait lists, it makes me sad. They're the most available resource people have for keeping track of production times.

I've got him on a 6-month layaway, we'll see if he comes in before then what my finances look like. He'll be brother-in-law to my other Withdoll boy, Lierre (elf Ash). It'll be fun to have more of the family together

 

I did the exact same thing, 6 month layaway. I also hope my finances will be such that I can pay them off early I'm really excited to see the bodies even if they won't work out for the heads I have, I will definitely find something for them

 

My SWD Vera from Dec/Jan was shipped on the 5th of March. Look like it's still waiting for a flight; I see the flight number but haven't moved since the 6th. Anyone knows the average wait time at the moment for EMS from Korea to US? Is it it still a couple of months?

 

In the last couple of months I've had two packages come EMS from Korea and they made it in about 2-3 days. Granted, they were smaller boxes (one was a head and one was a disassembled body). It may be taking longer because she's in a big box?

 

Could be, but there is an EMS express and regular, and with the insane price hikes lately, it could be they sent it regular and that gets a lower priority. I don't know, I'm really just guessing @aireoko ??? But thanks for letting us know, that's pretty quick! It makes me happy to think that the wait won't be so long for mine! Of course I ordered through BJdivas so it'll be a little longer.

 

My SWD Vera arrived today. So current EMS to the US from Korea is about 3 weeks. Not bad to be honest, I was expecting 1.5 months.

Funny thing is that I literally got a cup full of solid resin. Note from withdoll that it's due to new EMS policy. I assume there a certain minimum weight now with the box sizes. I was confused at first and thought they sent me a candle before I read the note.

@IngieBee she is beautiful and I really like her size! I bought her blank so I can't wait to get a face up on her. Down side is now I want a real skin version of her/another withdoll

OK, has anyone forgotten to update us here who are going crazy waiting (OK, so I'm the only crazy one). Any news on dollies????? I've been spending too much money while waiting It's a terrible symptom to have when your wallet is so constricted!

 

I'm only on payment 2/6 for my Egon elf so I'm not getting antsy yet, but I certainly understand the feeling!

Wow, that's a long time! I have a 9 month Fairyland layaway at DDE so I don't allow myself to even think on that one at all, LOL. I'm hoping that Withdoll will arrive before the 6 months and that I'll be able to pay them off

Any idea if the dolls are ordered when the layaway starts or if they wait until so much was paid?

 

Mine is with BJDivas, so it’s whenever they submit their order with Withdoll.

 

Yah, mine is too. I think DDE actually submits the order right away, but they are a very big company that must have the capital to do this for their customers (dolls are horribly expensive, ugh!) and if BJDivas can't take that kind of risk, they may not submit the order until the end or something. So... hum... I'm thinking I may need to try and pay it off faster because I am absolutely dying to see the withdoll bodies!!!

 

Dolls ordered on layaway through dealers are always ordered when the layaway starts. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to get these limiteds, or have them arrive early. If someone's layaway falls through that's what the in-stock section is for

 

Yes, that's normal. I hope that is the case with BJDivas, I have no idea. This is my first order with them, and frankly, I didn't think about the possibility of it not being ordered right away until now

Wow, it's been quite here. I was hoping my bodies would come in early (don't we all?) But still no word from BJDivas. Of course it hasn't been quite 4 months yet. I'd love to get a notice and pay them off any time here ( I speak to the dolly gods here) LOL

 

Yeah, it is quiet here. Sometimes I forget I have my guy on layaway... oops, his boyfriend might smack me if he heard me say that I should make sure I get eyes for him soon.

 

I'm waiting for my Theo thank goodness they made him a basic doll! I was so disappointed when I missed the limited version.

There aren't any orders since we ordered, BabySnow, so it's pretty hard to figure out what a normal wait is??

@St. Reinhardt , I don't see your info on the actual waitlist (it's not easy to do, so I understand) When did you order please?

 

Yeah, and it's been a while since my last Withdoll order, so I really don't have a clue. Under normal circumstances I might've expected something by now, but given a lot of things still are feeling the effects of the pandemic, it wouldn't surprise me if it was another month or two. Hopefully sooner!

I'm also wondering about the wait, because my Cathy came to me one month after I ordered her. I'm hoping I receive Theo end of this month.

 

My spouse ordered a real skin boy with face-up I think the same day you ordered yours, he arrived in the middle of June. I don't know if that helps you guys at all with constructing a timeline. That being said, even if it takes longer I think using a dealer for Withdoll is a smart move since they don't contact you at all. Would definitely have preferred an extra month or two wait to tossing money into the void and hoping everything went alright

 

Ooh, really? Exciting, I might see my boy soon then! Years ago I ordered directly from Withdoll and everything was fine- well, a piece was missing, but they were very good about sending it out to me after I let them know- but I did this one through the dealer for the longer layaway

 

That is good news @mollusk , as this month is my last payment (I did 6 months) and I hope BJDivas didn't forget to order mine as it was just when they had the ... was it flooding?... disaster.

 

I'm shocked I'm not already in this thread, but I ordered the Ian scowl full doll on May 6th with BJDivas, and paid him off mid June I think? I did a 2 month bi-weekly layaway cause it lined up with my paychecks. I am going nuts waiting for him!! He'll be my first guy (I have four girls) and I have heard such good things about their resin. He'll be so well dressed when he gets here, cause I have been excited/stressed sewing all month!

 

Congratulations @chatdemon I'm still anxiously awaiting word on my order. One more payment to go, and 4.5 months I guess so far. I feel like I've been waiting a year

 

@IngieBee o_O 4.5 months? Jeez, that seems like it's on the upper end of WD from what I've heard. I waited 8mo for a Dream Valley doll, but I don't remember being half as antsy as I am waiting for this guy. Some people seem to get their dolls so fast! I'll be curious to see what all the other BJDivas experiences are with WD, it's my first time ordering from them.

 

Yah, I hope my order didn't get lost, or that it's just Covid because like I've said, I did order while they were dealing with that flood or some such (fire?) and had to move out, then a month or so later, move back in. It is very possible my order was lost in the shuffle, but I think I already checked in on them once, I'll have to see if it was in regarding checking the order... probably not though???

 

I ordered my girls through Bjdivas and it was fine. It did take longer than usual, but I also ordered special colours and face-ups during an event.

 

Well, since I ordered with a 6 month layaway, and still have one more payment to make, maybe they have the doll, and just haven't told me I could pay it off?

I am still waiting for any updates for my doll… I ordered him in late October through a dealer and presumably he’s there, but he’s apparently been sitting there for nearly four months now in storage due to other issues… he’s been paid off for a long time. I’ve been waiting for about nine months now and the wait is dreadful.

 

I think it might've been around 6-7 months? I'd have to check my records to be sure, though.

 

Wait, @Epona , is it BJDivas ? Have you talked to them? They had a crazy thing happen around March.

They told me the dolls arrived around that time and it seems they've been in storage since then. About 3 weeks ago they told me they were just getting to the dolls in that Withdoll order.

 

Oh OK, yah, sounds like that emergency relocation and back messed everything up. Sorry your order got caught up in all of it @Epona

 

Well, it's better than thinking he's in the postal void, so there is that! I am glad that they told me that's why there is the delay. So, if this also helps shed any light on anyone else waiting for older Withdoll orders, hopefully our dolls will be shipping soon enough. ^^; I live very close to them though, so I kind of wish I could just pick him up in person.

Well, I paid my final payment on Sunday, it's been 5 months (a 6 month layaway) and now I'm hoping my two bodies will come home soon. I wonder how much longer it will be??

 

I got a shipping notice that my Theo has shipped! Wooo! Just under 2 months-I was expecting at least one more even with him being blank.

 

I ordered a bwd on April 24th, it shipped on July 24th, and arrived today.

 

Just received a tracking number for my Theo I hope he arrives within this week!

 

Hum, I paid off my order at BJDivas almost a month ago but haven't heard from them. I wrote them a week ago, and got the "do not inquire again or else message, but it's been a week?? So I wrote again on facebook, got the same message, only now saying don't do it on multiple platforms, so I wonder if I just stuck myself to "the bottom of the list"

Messaging multiple times will slow down the response time cause then they have to go looking for all of the messages. That aside, I think the person running BJDivas has been unwell. It's been "helper person" making the Facebook updates the last couple of times. So that's probably also affecting response times :<

I finally received my doll bodies today and they are gorgeous! I think they are the best MSD bodies I've ever had!

 

On the 9th I made an order for a Theo in Beige with Withdoll directly. I keep looking at the calendar to see how much time has passed for him lol! I think he should probably ship out in October, since it looks like Withdoll has been around a 2-3 month wait. I am really excited although, I kind of wish I got him with a faceup... but... I haven't decided if I wanna mod little elf ears onto him, so I decided to put off ordering the faceup... His faceup is so pretty though, Withdoll does a great job.

I am really excited to finally get him. I suppose I should probably focus on getting clothing for him though.

 

I ordered my Theo in Beige and with faceup, and I asked if they could perhaps paint him like the limited edition Theo, and they did I'm so in love with my Theo haha.

Theo arrived yesterday! I placed the order August 8th and he came on October 1st, so it took just under two months including shipping. Really glad to finally have him home... curious to see what event dolls Withdoll might do soon, though.
