Withdoll 16cm Tinies Discussion

I just wrote in to Withdoll to change the skin tone, hopefully they will allow it. Thank you for liking my tiny's Star Trek outfit! I actually commissioned blue, gold and red uniforms to be made. Pooky will be my next Star Trek officer and when my Lati Yellow girl comes in, I'll have all three! I might even consider building a starship bridge XD

 

Will definitely share the photos on social media when everyone is in For now, there is so much waiting to do for 2016 -_-

My Withdoll Mia arrived today. Here she is with the 1000Toys Synthetic Human...

 

Wow! These kids are great at posing! Although the the size of the head kinda bothers me. These would be cute babies/toddlers for bigger dolls

 

My tiny mod is almost done! Way too many decorations.

Question on clothes: I assume lati yellow/pukifee sizes fit these guys as well?

Here they are! Danyet is a Mia in rosy brown whose torso I modded to give them two sets of arms. I lengthened/strengthened the lower torso with milliput and sculpted breasts. I then drilled holes and sockets for the second set of arms in the torso, and through the upper abdomen. Lots of blushing and painting later, and here they are! Their wig was hastily made from the remnants of an old fur wig I had and is only on because the horns have some strong magnets. XD I need to make them a better wig, and some sort of nod to clothing, but right now I'm just really excited to have them assembled! Still stands and poses like a rock even with the added weight from the mods.

Thanks @aernath and @Goris ! I'm so happy with how they came together. I ended up using acrylic paint pens for the gold and white patterns which gave me a lot more control than a paintbrush would have.

@Musume Of course! I'm building them a little "spell house" where they can do their scrying, so I'll try to get some props finished and take some photos tomorrow when the light is better.

Love those little outfits. My one year old niece will love this picture. She was screaming dinosaur at the top of her of her lungs yesterday (thank you very much George from Peppa Pig! ), this would set her off again

Dinos? I'm sunk! I've been a dinosaur freak since I was five. Well, maybe if they're completely human dolls I can just join a split and get the outfit...

 

Oh no... I might be hoping on the tiny dino band wagon!!! I love the little one in the blue dino outfit, but if I do end up splurging for the dino outfit I'd go for green! What about you guys?

Ah! I found these by accident, and the toothy dinosaur hood pulled me in to looking at them!

I really like the face paint (haha!) and dinosaur suits. The Orange and Green are my favorites, but those tiny backpacks too!

Amber would be my choice, though I'm not so sure if I like the face in profile, is that a new sculpt? They are all so cute and covetable..!

@Musume I've seen a few four-armed tinies on the boards here and on Pinterest, and I always really liked how they looked. I'd been trying to choose a tiny to use, and had been leaning towards a Withdoll anyway because of their range of skin colors. When the halloween tinies came out I knew I had to go for it as I'm a sucker for hooves and horns. Design-wise I was inspired by Arabic henna and African fabric patterns. I free-handed them so I wouldn't ruin anything trying to make them symmetrical.

Also, Cookie's adorable! I love the red dot photo story.

I was just told by withdoll that my daughter's Pooky is shipping this week. Iiiih!

Logistical question.....Just got my third Withdoll tiny, fourth on order.

First two were humanoid--chocolate ice cream, and raspberry macaroon.

Third is Raul, from the angel/devil series around Halloween. He has horns (attach to wig with magnets) and both human and faun/sheep/goat (do we know which, anyway?) extremities.

Last night I swapped the human parts for the animal parts. Only the upper thighs appear to be marked with R/L. And the hooves are obvious. But the lower thighs, knee joints, and calves seem to be different, but I'm not sure how to tell which is right and which is left. And I'm starting to fear I'm going to have that problem when/if I put the human parts back on him......

Any advice?

(FWIW, the one on order is one of the penguins. I adore the dinosaurs, but have to draw a line. If only I could get the outfit by itself, I'd do it in a heartbeat!)

 

@Musume Thanks for the extra pictures, it really helps.

 

@marseille My Danyet has the hoof legs, and there are tiiiiiiny Rs and Ls on all of her pieces. To make it easier on myself I also made sure that when I was painting her I kept all of her left parts separate from her right parts so I wouldn't get confused. If you're taking off the legs I'd keep them in separate marked plastic bags to make it easier on yourself.

 

*Where* are they? I swear I looked! I'm thinking I'm going to have to keep the 'human' and 'animal' parts labeled. From the knees up, they're almost exactly the same!

 

@marseille I have an extra pair of hoof legs not on a doll so I can check them tonight, but I'm pretty sure the markings are inside the joint areas. They're tiny and I definitely missed them a few times!

 

I had never heard of this company, I love the tinies - so cute, but also most are sold out!

 

My little starry mage is home! She's the Penn from the penguin release, and I got her in the rose white resin, it's such a gorgeous colour I can't wait to do her faceup and get her proper mage clothes

 

Withdoll has re-released the Happy Ending Story dolls!

 

I think a gray Sasha wolf cub would be adorable... does anyone know what is the difference between light gray and light gray UV? Is it the same color with UV resisting additive? Is there any reason to not get the UV version of light gray?

I wish I hadn't spent all my doll money. The lambs are adorable! Does Withdoll generally re-release limited editions?

 

Oh yes - I don't know about their larger dolls, but starting with the Ice Cream Children (their first limiteds), all their tiny dolls have been re-released at least once, if not more often.

I just ordered Lamb Laney complete with everything! She was simply too cute to pass up. Now begins the long wait.

 

So do I. On the other hand, I'm still waiting for my Emma, whom I ordered on January 12th.

 

The next batch of cuties has been released. Has anyone ordered either The Little Prince or the Foxes? I just ordered little fox Lucy. Hmm, I wonder how she'll get along with little lamb Laney? This could be interesting. I don't expect to see either of them for a while. Emma took about 3 1/2 months from order to arrival.

 

Not yet. I think Lucy is my favorite, but I like the prince outfit.

 

I like the prince outfit, too, but in the end it was the foxes that spoke to me the loudest. Withdoll does the cutest animal outfits I've seen.

 

I just ordered the little fox Lucy too! This is gong to be my first Withdoll tiny and I'm super excited. Can't wait for her to get here! Her face and the little fox outfit were just too adorable to ignore.
