Kim [AR Dana] and Faye [DM Asha], my first two dolls! I particularly like this picture because it fits their story perfectly. If you look carefully Faye looks like she has tears running down her cheek, and Kim looks shifty. They look like they're conspiring, and the red background gives a sense of danger.

. . . okay, maybe I'm the only one who sees all that.

 

Mine is of my (at the time) WIP Elfdoll Emma head, after I sanded his nose tip down. I was taking before and after shots for my doll blog and decided I needed a new avatar and went to town with it on Photoshop. Now Jin-Sang is all put together but I haven't taken any new pictures worthy of avatar-ness, LOL.

Kaiya, a Satoko Ohno mod/repaint of Volks SchoolHead A. That photo is also about 6 years old; it isn't terribly good, but I had just gotten my very first digital camera that same year and had no idea how to use it. This was just one of the first half-artsy pictures I'd ever taken that I actually liked enough to show in public.

I've never changed my avatar in over 5 years of membership... I have a feeling that if I started doing that, I'd develop a whole sub-hobby of working on new avatar pictures. ;;^^

 

Soom Shoshon, although his look has changed a bit. At the moment he's wearing a Kanawild wig in Summerset red. He's a hottie. ^_^

 

I tend to change my avatar but currently its my DiM Jen01 mod. ^^ I'm very happy with this photo and I'm almost convinced to keep it for good. XD;

The lips in my avatar belong to my Soom MD Cuprit, Nouva. I guess I might be a bit odd, but I always gravitate to my doll's lips when I'm cropping a photo - there's just something so lush and expressive about them.

'Just changed my avi for the first time in about three years...
It's not a doll at all this time. It's one of my 'City of Heroes' MMO characters, Grey Kestrel (Who may eventually find her way into resin form, just like her cousin Palrah did. I'm considering an EID Yur for her, since he's an EID Akando. ), looking out over Saint Martial.

 

Technically it's Aster my Dollzone Hong in white skin, while I was waiting for him. I whipped him up a Dream Selfy via dreamself.me and then edited it in photoshop for a more realistic white skin tone and whatnot. I even got together his Dollmore outfit with a few tweaks to what was closest in Dream Selfy. Considering Aster's character has become the one I imagine myself most as, I doubt I'll change my avatar anytime soon. :3
