Who is the doll in your avatar?

Mine is my Minifee Celine--she looks completely different now. But, I like the avatar because the blonde wig kinda reminds me of myself, so it's sort of my way of personalizing who I am without necessarily using my photo or changing up any of my current dolls.

 

I changed my avatar since last time I posted in this thread. My avatar is now my first bjd, Genesis (5 Star Tumnus) who has been with me since 2011, He is still my fave.

 

I've got both my girls, Robin and Wren! Couldn't choose just one lol

My current pic is a True Love Elsa with face up by Jane at Jane's Doll Land. Her name is Elysium she's my current favorite to make clothing for since she is a wild sort of elf. I have attempted to order her hair twice but it's fallen through both times so I'm thinking she doesn't need it lol

Mine is my Crobidoll Heena! Her face-up was commissioned by her previous owner and I adore it. She's the one who's most "me" out of all my dolls.

First avatar was my Peakswoods Gumiho Miro. It was a company photo. Second the doll I want, but couldn't buy is Dolks Rozen Maiden Shinku. Third and current avatar is Souldoll Lee Joon gi-C doll I desperately want, but heard he is discontinued early in 2008 because of some image rights problems. I wasn't in the hobby until 2021.

I actually searched for a bunny BJD, just so I could make an icon for the websites that I go to. I am so happy to have gotten this little guy. That is my Fairy Garden in the background.

 

I finally got tired of my Dragon Age Grey Warden sketch... so my avatar is now of my two dolls, Syr (Crobidoll Lance, left) and Justinian (Dollstown Mui, right). They are a couple, and my oldest and dearest dolls - since 2010-2011.

Alice Antionette is her name. In this photo she is portraying a Victorian girl.
She is from Connie Lowe, the resin doll sculpt Alice Anne in the small version which is msd size.
I won a drawing or lottery for the opportunity to purchase her this year {2023}. She is very fond of hats.
Another favorite is her Mad Hatter one which is enormous in perspective to her size but still is a perfect fit.
She has several wigs and personality changes to go along with them. I was thrilled with the opportunity to own her.

 

I recently changed my profile pic to Dylan, my Volks 48 Rinon in Sunlight ordered from Volks FCS a couple years ago. Her face up is the girl type coordinate. Her wig is a lilac fur wig by NightFactory on Etsy.

 

My current profile pic is Willow, minifee Mirwen i bought second hand last april ^^ She has the Fairyland face up, and a pearwood mohair wig by Natrume (Etsy)

 

That's my Mina! She's a gorgeous Maskcat Yael the crop was accidental but I liked the embroidered decoration on the dress and it looked mysterious, so I kept it that way.

 

Keshi, my Dollstown Soph B. She has faceup and wig by me, and captured in glass eyes (bought on dollmore). Here the dress is by Nekochaton, a french seamstress.

 

Rei. A semi-organic android. She is the one who first stole my dollheart. Dollmore Zaoll Luv in basic white version. In case you didn't recognize it.

 

He's a BJD that I had but that was lost to a thief when I moved from one state to another after a bad year where there was just one personal disaster after another.

I had no BJDs for almost six years after that. I could barely bring myself to look at doll forums online. But I'm housed again and I have a nice little doll collection and I am happy finally.

I still do miss the dolls I lost sometimes but the new ones I have now really helped me get over all that. I sure wish I had all the clothes and shoes and stuff that he took though.

I miss having a nice doll wardrobe to pick from, especially the shoes and wigs. Things are so much more expensive now. I can only do SO much, you know?
