What was Your first Doll?

My first planned doll was Doll Legend 25cm Yin Man, it has been over 3 months and she still as not arrived! I couldn't stand the wait any longer, so about a month ago, I purchased MYOU 27cm Mina from JunkySpot and received her in one week!!!!

My first doll is Katie A from souldoll. I'm still waiting for her to come in the mail, but I already love just the pictures I seen of her on their website.

My first doll was a Doll Family-A Vivian. They didn't sell her sculpt separately, so I bought the full doll anyway since I fell in love with her hard.

I've just recently paid for my first doll, a Doll Leaves Yoko! I got her during their spring event, so I also got an Ida head with my order! I'm so excited to get her, and I absolutely can't wait! The waiting is driving me crazy, and it's only been a couple of weeks since I ordered her!!

 

My first doll was a Bobobie Mei, but I don't own her anymore.

My first doll is Musedoll Ciel. I still love her very much and I keep going back to musedoll's website, although they already stopped producing any new dolls. I just can't quit my habit viewing their website for those beautiful dolls and pretty clothes.

 

My first doll is a Dollzone Megi-2, I believe he is a discontinued sculpt now. I have a love-hate relationship with him, no matter what I do he will never be able to be the character I envisioned him to be. So now he lives in his box and I have no idea what I should do with him.

 

My first doll was a Doll Love Hugh. He was really cute and glad he was my first doll. I fell out of love though, so I no longer have him ^^

 

My first doll that counts, was a DollZone Cosmo with light skin second hand with a faceup by ChiNo Tensi .
I say the first that counts because I had a Green elf of some sort that never came out of her box because I just dont care for owning fantasy dolls (love seeing photos of them, just dont want my own). I dont even know how long I had her.

 

My first doll that I ordered was Luts Soo original, had her about 10 years...

 

My first doll was Luts Kid Delf Bomi, ordered in August 2005. I have him still.

My first doll was Fairyland PukiPuki Pukisha named Momiji. She was my birthday present from friends. ^^ My first doll which I bought myself was Dollshe SA Husky. I bought him on DOA Marketplace in 2009. I have them still. =)

 

My first BJD, which I bought in 2012 on Ebay, was an Angel of Dream Qian. I'm thinking of selling her, but not sure if I will or not. I've come to love the tinies now and prefer to collect them.

 

My very first bjd was a Meadow Dolls Elleki.

 

My first doll was a Dollzone Vita-2. I like her a lot, but she isn't extra special yet. I guess I have to make her special.

A newbie here~ Just got my first BJD head - Distant Memory's Sunho and his body from DF-H is still on the way. I haven't done any faceups before so I'm really nervous to start doing faceup on him. Hope he'll turn out okay

 

My first doll will be a Fairyland Minifee Mirwen, with a small bust, cutie legs and in natural skin~ I'm getting her without a face-up so I can do it myself, she'll be based off my OC Ariona. I'm super excited!

 

My fist doll was DollMore's Rhodonite Sara (aka Cosmia), because I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to having a 2ft. tall doll living with me. As a horror nut, I know how that tends to turn out. I'd cite price as a factor as well, but now that I've fallen deeper into the rabbit hole, I've discovered that you can get a (legit) SD size doll for way less than I paid for her-- $300~ for 40~cm. And I didn't even get blushing or sanding!

 

My first doll was a Volks Heath, about ten years ago. I still have him out on display - many dolls later, he's still one of my favourites.

 

My first doll was a Ringdoll Lucifer. Took one look at the sculpt and decided I had to have him.

 

It took me 5 years to decide on my first doll and it was a Dollzone Hid full set single jointed w/white resin. I still have him

 

My 1st doll was a SD Nana made in 1999 . I got her in 2002 and no one at her 1st con knew what a Dollfie SD was . I still have her today, She is one of 2 dolls that are on my for keeps list.

 

My first doll was Luts Kid delf Hodoo boy that I bought back in 2009. I still have him ^_^

 

My first doll was Resinsoul Yao. I love her, she is just beautiful and the resin is super smooth. She is absolutely perfect!

 

My first doll is still in the making, but she's Dollmore's Dollpire Ballerina Dead Mansion Tara. A long name, I know. 8'D She's limited edition, maybe that's the reason for such a name monster. Warning! There's real raw meat in Dollmore's pictures of her.
I can't wait for her to get here. ^_^

 

Well, he's just a head, but my first BJD was a Switch Hahwa. Unfortunately I'm selling him, but he was still my first one haha.

 

I have two "first dolls"...
The first I paid was a SIO2 Dragen-Li (who is off-topic on this forum) but needs some 6 month to be realased and shipped... (I'm always waiting for).
And the 2nd I paid was my Okaeri, but she is the first arrived at home.

Here's what she looked like when I first got her with her factor make-up.


And here she is now - her factor make-up died after 6 years so Angel Toast did this perfect repaint for me.





Her nose looks really pronounced with her new face-up but its much less obvious in real life. Her lips are horrifying from the side angle. She only gets 3/4 photos and full face photos because of it.

I love her though now that I have some Volks and Iplehouse dolls I can tell her old environmental resin is much more plasticy. That said, Ringdoll custom made a knee repair for me with their new resin and it's lovely and thick. I love her face too. She never became very popular (I think I'm the only one on the forum who has her and I'm pretty sure I'm the only US owner as well but there might be one or two I don't know about) but I find her precious.

And Ringdoll's old body is THE BOSS at wearing heels. Anything that's too high for my Iplehouse girl (with her heel feet) goes straight onto Corby's flat feet like a dream. Ringdoll told me at the time that they weren't making heel feet because she could already wear heels, but I didn't understand until I did her review video on youtube what that meant.

Ignore the poor quality of this video - I just now paid off my student loans so I had to pick between dolls and cameras back in the day. Also that hair is not a wig - I just need a cut badly.

 

My first doll was a Dollfie Dream Kirika.

 

Mine was a Dollfie Dream Dynamite. I don't know why I chose her, but we didn't bond, so I sold her with a bunch of accessories and handmade clothes.

Mine was an impledoll moon that I bought secondhand. Ultimately I decided to sell her because I ultimately decided I don't like impledoll bodies ^^

She hasn't arrived yet, but she is a DC Evangeline (unless I cave and buy a FL Realpuki Papilio before she arrives). Evangeline is coming with a Nehemie event doll also (who I love but I don't think is on-topic for DoA).

 

My first doll is my lovely DollZone Annie, her name is Nyx. I fell in love with the attitude of her sculpt but later switched the old DZ body for a new one that had a bit more curve.

 

@Ansell You and I have the same first sculpt! I have a Dollzone Annie boy shipping to me right now from the previous owner.
