My first doll was a Lyseria/Myseria from Mystic Dolls, a french artist !

My first BJD was actually made of ABS, a Hujoo (Basic). My first resin BJD was a Resin Soul Dai. I no longer have either. I sold my Dai before realizing that I could try to hybridize her. Ah well live and learn.

 

My first doll was a Volks fullset I bought by an accident at a shop, I was so happy about it so I just took her home with me Later I found out that it's ok to wait for several months for the doll to be made and delivered, I doubt I'd get into the hobby if it would start for me like that - waiting months to start playing with the first doll seems a very difficult task imo, and keeping the wish to have it all that time seems like a miracle to me))

 

My first doll was a fairyland Rheia I falled in love with that beautiful face!

 

My very first doll was a Minoruworld Junior Minoru. I wasn't planning on getting that doll at all - I was actually looking at lati greens and lati yellows at the time (I think it was 2009 or 2008?). But then I saw this girl at the Marketplace here at DoA, and just fell in love with her. She was so pretty! She had a custom face-up by tanyastyle (Tanya), and she was so adorable - I couldn't decide right away if I wanted her or not. She was so far from what I had looked at up until then, but in the end - I couldn't stop thinking about her so I ended up buying her.

I don't have her anymore, but still miss her from time to time...

My first and only doll at the moment is a LUTS Senior Delf 65 Carmine.

i got him after 5 years of skirting around the edges of the BJD community it took me 2 and a half weeks or so after officially deciding to get a doll to find him ^^ i had a lot of specifications for the doll that i wanted since i wanted him for using as a drawing reference and had a specific character in mind aaaaaand wanting to keep the cost under $160 which is not the simplest thing to do ^^;
I got him without a face up so that i could do it myself ^-^ and it was love at first site when he got home i couldn't stop holding him i love holding his hands ^-^

Mine was B&G Morant. Not a very popular or well known company. I love his sculpt though. Maybe someday i'll get another from this company but so far nothing else from them strikes me.

 

The girl from Souldoll soulkids Yelena was my first doll, she is still with me and remains one of darling, for me her special ^^

 

This is an interesting question. The first doll I ordered was my DoC H. Kirill, however after purchasing him I was super impatient and also purchased a CP SS EL which arrived faster than the DoC H. Kirill did. Both dolls are still with me, although I have modified the SS EL to one with open eyes.

 

It looks like my first will be a Luts Abadon Senior Delf in light tan. He's on layaway right now. I can't wait to meet him.

 

The first doll I ordered was a 2010 Dollzone Ying fullset. But he came with a 1/3 Mo head and a baby dragon doll, both of whom I saw before him, so maybe he's technically more like my third.

 

My first doll was a Soom Rosette Muse Lady Delilah. I bought her second hand on the Norwegian forum. She has a very special place in my collection obviously because she was the first bjd I ever touched, but also because her character is at the very heart of my doll stories and helps tie my other characters together.

 

First doll was a customhouse Uri/Uriel, she was a gift from friends but I somehow lost her along the way to today Maybe that's part of the reason I ordered the new Uriel from LUTS when it became an option!

FeePle65 Roke Dragon was my very first doll. The problem is, Fairyland sets such a high quality standards, then it is difficult to tolerate failures of some other companies...

Sometimes I sort of regret it because she was never the kind of sculpt I had in mind, but I think that's because she's kind of outside my comfort zone. I think that's a good thing because I always want to challenge myself and my artistic abilities!

My first ACTUAL doll is a preorder I have with DDE for my Fairyland A-line NS Celine. However, I ordered another doll second hand so she has gotten to me quicker than my preorder. So I guess technically my first doll is a MNF Nanuri 2016 on a Moe body in NS. She is away right now for a faceup!

 

My first (and only, but not for too long anymore hopefully) was Mystic Kids Vanetta and she took over 3 month to arrive, I felt like I was pregnant lol

 

My first doll is Odin from Island Doll. He is a 73cm big boy which is really heavy because they use nice quality material. My friends gave me a lot of advise before I got him, they told me that I should start from a smaller doll like 1/6 or 1/4, because they are much more easier to take care of and their stuffs and clothing are easy to get. However, I don't regret as he is so handsome and I love him so much.

 

My first was an Angel Region Ami, before they where taken over by Soom. I really liked her but as time has passed I'm moving on from my older doll collection. This time my first doll is a MYOU doll 1/6 Bixuan! She is so cute and I love the YOSD size! Can't wait until she gets here! : D

 

My first doll that I ordered was Pink Vetch's Midori, however, my first doll to arrive (I ordered a week or so after ordering my first one hehe oops) was Mystic Kids Evelyn she's a 1/4 doll which I figured would be a good size for me and I was right! She seems perfect for me so far~

 

My first, and so far, only doll is an Iplehouse EID Asa I've named Akiko. She's second hand but in pristine condition. I got a very good deal on her and she's currently away for a new face-up. I'm super excited to get her back though.

 

It was Bella from DollChateau- i fell in love with Queena and her outfit first but she was too tall and more expensive with full set so i settled for lovely Bella and made original outfit and story just for her:3 I found out later that she is starter bjd for lot of people,but each is very original.

 

My first ever bjd was a minifee rendia. I didn't like her at all, i quickly sold her ^^

The first doll I ordered was a Luts SDF65 Cyan in white skin, but a Volks SD Rigel which I bought on ebay arrived two weeks before Cyan arrived...but still I consider Cyan as my first boy ^_^

My first was Adrienne, my Souldoll Clara. She arrived in September of 2005, and I still have her! Much to my surprise, given the ways of resin yellowing, she still looks great and I could never dream of parting with her

My very first resin BJD is Volks' Super Dollfie SD13 Megu in normal skin and I still have her!

 

i dont have him yet but my first doll is a kids sky lapis lazuli i cant wait to get him!

 

My first BJD was a hybrid, modoll head and Dragondoll body. The sculpt is of Lee Pace/Thranduil, and I actually bought him because I wanted a Thranduil toy rather than wanting a BJD! I collected action figures originally, and it bothered me that I couldn't find one of him. So when I saw the sculpt I decided it was like an action figure, but even more awesome because of the detail and opportunity for customising.

His clothes and wig are dodgy (my first attempts!) but he's going to get a new wig very soon, and possibly a new jacket. I have no regrets, I still think he's great. In fact, of all my dolls, he's the one that gets treated most carefully! (Because he has a faceup from modoll, whereas Iker was a custom sculpt... I got ten heads and did his face up myself, so I handle him a lot more because he's fixable!)

 

My first bjd was DollZone's Mo-2. I like that he looks kind of like he knows a secret. (It's probably what his name is supposed to be. He'll only tell me what it isn't!)
I regret not getting his fullset though, because he doesn't like any of the things I've made him so far. ^-^' But I still love him, even though he's being so picky.

 

My first doll was a Dollfie Dream Sheryl Nome, by Volks. I remember being so amazed by her size when I took her out of the box (*´▽｀*) ♥ It was a bit difficult to handle her at first, and I had trouble getting her to look as I imagined, but I'm starting to be really happy with her now!

My first resin girl was a SDM Mako, also by Volks ! I found her on a secondhand website and completly fell in love I hesitated a bit at first as she was a bit of a less-planned purchase than my DD (I had spent a lot of years looking around, and one year actively researching before ordering her) but I really don't regret getting her! She's just adorable, and I love the feel and texture of the resin, as well as her pretty face ( ;∀

 

My first one was a gift. She's the doll leaves Alex from the promotion. I love her, but since i purchased a few second and 4th hand dolls from firneds who wanted them to go to a home where they will get loved. I just bought my first First hand bjd today im excited!

 

My first doll was a aeyork/notdollab pandora with a Miriam faceplate. I bought her second hand from a seller in my own country before I even knew much about bjds. She is sold now though.

 

My first doll was a DollnDoll Loren (which they no longer sale in SD size anymore).
I got her in Feb or 2009 and still have her to this day.
I'm actually about to revamp her for the third time.
And I'm still excited to have her! ^__^
