What is your BJD company and/or BJD artist Kryptonite?

Luts Bory. I'm going to be that person that has one in every size one day. Especially now that they've released a YoSD-size (honey delf!) version, and I've been wanting to see that specific sculpt forever! BB Bory so cute!
For artists, I was drawn in by Batchix when I first researched the hobby, so I'd say she has a special place in my heart. Though the artist-cast dolls I want to get right now are Summerbird Viola and/or OrangeTeaDolls Pollet.

 

LLT is always so good! They are the only company I have two sculpts from. Almost makes me wish I needed their body for someone.

 

Luts

 

For me , it will be LLT and Zees Studio dolls. Although I only own one doll from Zees Studio, both artists always have amazing dolls. LLT dolls are just too expensive for me to afford, I don't even know if I could afford one in the near future.

 

Dream Valley everything they have brought out lately i am in love with, i wish i could got the glen and aiden they released but my wallet was drained from a dollzone miyou.
as for favourite independent artist cuartosdolls.com is amazing but i don't think i could afford anything from there in the near future

 

I don't purchase anymore BJD, but I love SoulDoll's facial aesthetics, I own two full dolls and two floating heads from them -- they are old discontinued sculpts. I almost had a heart attack when I read they were stopping selling dolls, but then I read it was only temporary -- I don't plan on purchasing more resin, but I'm always fascinated by their beautiful head sculpts and eyes. I feel like might get a few more floating heads, if I can from them, so it was really sad when I thought they were done for good. I also quite fond of DollZone Sculpts, I only own two of the very early styles from them, but I love the way they have evolved over the years (wish I had the will to get more dolls, just to get a few from them but I won't). Lastly I love EOS/Limhwa, I wish I had gotten a Mono when I was still purchasing BJD, but I was always holding out for the artist to upgrade his body as she did for the girls; she never but she never did. Limhwa is like with SoulDoll for me, I love the faces the most, I wish I could own a few floating heads from her, but she doesn't sell bodies and heads separately and I don't collect female BJD (I own one female and don't need more). Doll Chateau and Dream Valley. While I actually don't currently own any dolls from either company, I keep going back to look because I just LOVE their work. Eventually, I am going to save up enough to get a DC girl! It might take me a few years, but I just have to have one. Since they discontinued most of their Youth girls, maybe by the time I can afford one, they'll have released several more.

But...looking at my current crew, I'd have to say Luts. I absolutely love Luts and almost every single Senior Delf doll they've released.

 

Granado and LLT, most definitely - I want to own all of their sculpts if I ever got rich enough! (Their dolls are on the more expensive side unfortunately but ONE DAY!!!!!)

 

Same here. I’m brand new to this but I’m already like “ok how much can my soul go for so that I can get all these Luts creations....”

 

Doll Chateau pulled me back in this year with the huge discontinuation event. I hadn't planned to order many more until next year and now I'm waiting on three full dolls, a head and a body. Oops! To be fair I'm not overly keen on their newer sculpts so it was a now or never situation.

 

For me, Miracle Doll! I have to keep restraining myself from buying every other head they have, especially the MSD ones. I just feel like they have the perfect ""ugly'" (and I mean that in the most affectionate way) edge to keep them from seeming quite like any other company I've encountered.

 

Iplehouse head sculpts. I would be drowning in them if Iplehouse sold their heads separately. But luckily I do not like their bodies at all, so I am safe. Lots of money saved...

 

It seems SOOM Petite Gem has gotten hold of my wallet and I plan on getting quite a few as they release new ones. They are just so cute.

 

I love the monster dolls that Aileen Dolls makes. I have two of the baby cyclops dolls. They seemed more focused on their little dragons though, so I think I'm sadly safe.

 

I love Fairyland especially the little ones, and Kim Lasher dolls I have more of them in my collection than any other

 

Soom Teeny Gems. I love them all, and they're so hard to resist.

Although the dolls I have most of are 5StarDoll 1/6 size dolls. I currently have 10 of them, and there will probably be one or two more.

 

Ringdoll, for sure. I keep telling myself I'm done with them for now (or at least until they get their wait times under control) but then they keep releasing new dolls that capture my heart and arrrgh, I just can't quit them!

 

Granado doll, for sure. I love practically every one of their sculpts but unfortunately they just don't work for the direction of my crew. I try to only buy dolls that will fit my characters and not just buy ones I like; it helps me save a lot better. I actaully bought several heads from them when they had a sale going and I was so upset to find that they just don't work for me but, boy, do I keep going back to Granado though.

Also Iplehouse straight up stole my soul the second I got two of my dolls from them. Practically my whole crew is now being planned to be shelled by them lol
Then I have two grails and both of them are by LLT so there's that company too.

 

Iplehouse. But for a new contender, Sartoria J's resins are certainly catching my attention!

 

Pygmalion. XD Every single sculpt is gorgeous.

 

DollsTown

 

I love almost all switch sculpts! If I decide one day to buy SD boy it will be definitely one if them^^

 

For the company that has taken up the most in my crew...I would have to say Impldoll. I have three of their girls, and absolutely adore a couple of the newer released girl bodies from them (muscular girl, and I'd love to get that one with the neck joint and shoulder joints for one girl in particular). I also plan to shell one of of my OCs into Plaice at some point.

For a company that I have one thing from, but fawn over the head sculpts of (and wouldn't mind getting a harem of if I had the $$$) would have to be Granado. I tend to only collect ones that fit my specific OCs, but those boys from Granado are just so...tempting. They're more on the masculine side without being too hyper-masculine, just the way I like 'em.

 

5th motif and Dollshe. I just love the realism (and the handsome men ).

 

I keep buying dolls from Dream Valley.

I've ordered from them twice now. And both times it was where I had what I wanted in my cart and I was just waiting for an event to happen to get in on the event dolls.... and both times I loved the dolls they released as limited for the event.

And even though I have only purchased one doll from Spiritdoll I am on their site a lot just looking at their bodies and of course I look at my doll (but I feel kind of weird looking at his body because he is a character... a person to me.)

 

I really love Magic Mirror dolls, I only have one so far but she is probably my favorite in my collection and I do have another one on layaway. Depths Dolls have also caught my eye lately and while I also only have one in my collection, I can tell I will definitely be getting more in the future.

However the company that has been consistently amazing my entire time in the hobby would have to be Peak’s Woods. Their dolls are gorgeous but they also have incredible customer service as well.

 

dika and ringdoll, ringdoll has taken my credit card and soul with their alice line and yume 100 release then dika is just a blessing for good looking sculpts

 

I love all of fairylands sculpts and sizes. I have yet to buy one yet, but Ive been saving for a rainy day . As for small artist, rap1993's Danni is soooooooo cute.

 

Definately mr. Dollshe's fan, I want to have almost all of his sculpts. He is so talented.

 

Volks has stolen my heart
I don't love every one of their dolls but every doll I am attracted to for the past several years is from them.
As far as doll related products, Enchanted Doll eyes are my newest addiction. I adore their Sweety Pearl series and several of their Unique and Milky eyes.

Also, twin tail wigs always draw me to female sculpts. There will be dolls that I felt indifferent about previously then randomly see one in a twin tail wig and be like "omg, so cute! Why did I never notice you before!?"

 

If I can only choose one, it would have to be IplehouseLLTFairylandIOSSouldollLutsVolks. That's just the absolute top of the line for irresistibly breaking my bank account. The second tier is much longer and even harder to pronounce.

 

I would have to say Iplehouse. I have owned quite a few Iplehouse dolls over the years, and I can't deny they're my favorite company.

 

I've bought all the dolls I'm going to (except for two that still need a body), but Volks has always appealed to me. It's no surprise that I own three .

 

Soom and Fairyland, definitely, with all that fantasy resin... sigh...

 

I've only just started my collection but I find myself drawn to many of the Iplehouse sculpts and also the ones at Dollshe. I really shouldn't order any more dolls for quite some time though, I have other things I need to prioritize with the money.

 

little monica owns me lol. im pretty picky about dolls i really like and even pickier about dolls i have to own, but theres five or six from little monica that i just need to have orz my one wish is that their SDs were a little more mature looking (to me they just look like they should still be msds) but i guess that saves me money lol. but i know i would like a more mature little monica doll!! i want two of their three grace harmonies so. please. do it for me. but also dont so i can not break the bank on dolls lol.

 

I really like volks though I'm more into their dollfie dreams but I do like some of their resin dolls such as sdm Noa and the sculpts that I see on instagram.

As for smaller artists, it would be Atelier Momoni. I would like to see the amazing posing that momoni has for myself someday.

Migidoll! I don't know why, but their sculptor has my number. I have two Migidolls and at least two more on my wishlist. Oasisdoll makes my favorite girls. If Sarina ever gets back into resin BJD making regularly, I'm doomed.

Volks has also really started to appeal to me in the last few years. I'm planning on an FCS girl eventually!

 

Mmm, gotta say Soom's little gems, I really love their fantasy sculpts and their little gem faces.

DollZone is great too, their faces are very unique and different (if they ever release a MSD sized doll with elf ears, I am in deep deep doo doo).

Doll Leaves has some great sculpts too, and their face-ups are quite nice! They also have a decent number of sculpts with fantasy ears too.

Should I just say basically anything with fantasy ears and leave it at that?

 

I'm with another person here when it comes to Luts Bory. I told myself only one. Just one. And /then/ they just had to release him as a sleeping head. I had to buy it. THEN they had to go and make him an elf for the very first time all of those years ago with the Moonlit song release. Had to buy that and all the add-ons. I'm sitting at 4 Borys now and it took everything in my power to avoid getting the new Honey Delf bory- especially now that he has elf ears too!!!

If it's not a Bory getting me, it's a cute doll with elf ears or vampire fangs. Soom has also got me good with those traits.

 

Maskcat Doll. They all look so poetic to me. I don't own any yet, it's hard to decide where to start.

Alice in Labyrinth Alice in Labyrinth - AiL-Dolls ....I seriously cannot resist their dolls!! ><

 

I mainly have two favs. Doll chateau have such amazing sculpts! I was so close to buying Ingemar but sadly other things came up. And Loongsoul!!! I can't get enough! The dolls are so aesthetically pleasing. If only the would sell heads separately though!

 

I'm in love with basically everything Soom has ever done. *sigh*

 

I am in the same boat as well. I love both 5th motif and Dollshe.

 

Dollzone - it's my bane. I have to tell myself, no! Almost 1/3 of my dolls are Dollzone.
Doll Leaves - second runner up, the dolls are just so cute!
Doll Chateau - I love the beauty of them.

I think I just need to avoid any company starting with 'doll'.

 

I really love dolls of the Doll Zone company, for me each release is like a holiday. And very, very LLT, they are literally incredible everyone, and I would buy Roderich in all colors and possible options, if I had such an opportunity.

 

Dearmine for sure, I would have an army of their tiny anthros.

 

Admittedly I'm just starting out, but so far I really love Ringdoll's grown sculpts... to the point where I keep looking through them over and over, reading reviews, etc, instead of looking at any new companies or sculpts. Maybe there's something more suitable for what I want in terms of shelling out my OTP, but for now they're hands-down my fav sculpts. There's so much out there it's overwhelming!

 

Dollshe most certainly!! I love their dolls so.

Though lately I am rather partial to RingDoll and Iplehouse.

 

After I got a Mizuki cyclops second hand, I've decided I'm going to join EVERY Villitunes preorder I can, because her dolls are so unique, colorful, and cute, and she is always such a sweet and happy person on Instagram. The cuteness literally makes my heart want to burst. I really feel like her dolls help me with my mood, even if I can't always create for them in the way I want.

I've also decided I want a lot of Lillycat MSDs, because I love their unique facial molds, body types, and the variety of skintones, too. The sculptor is also someone who seems to be a pretty admirable business woman. So far I have bought 3 this year.

 

I love a lot of the Iplehouse sculpts!

 

I'm a sucker for a lot of the limited sets Doll Chateau comes out with...I'm weak! But lately Doll Leaves and DollZone have been really growing on me. I'm really attracted to more unique sculpts that have a lot of possibility for posing!

 

It's Illusion Garden and Little Rebel for me. I adore all or most part of sculpts made by these extremely talented authors.
