What does your doll refuse to wear??

Remy refuses to wear anything 'smart'. He came with a tux style suit, and can I get him into it! I never thought a doll could fight back that much. But put him in jeans & t's and he's happy.
Mercia will only wear long skirts. I made her a short dress and she refuses point blank to wear it. I tried it on her the day she arrived and she just refused to hold any pose at all. I've yet to try her in jeans.
Oh and she won't wear shoes.

 

I can relate to that. Celeste doesn't want to wear anything particularly frilly, but it has to look nice. Finding normal clothes, yes very hard. I'm still trying to find a shirt that she likes and doesn't just tolerate. x.x

 

Well, Jie refuses to wear anything modern. Closest she'll go is like..fifties formal. Choie, however, I belive will wear what I put her in, but we'll see how far I can take that.

 

Kairi refuses too let me dress her at all. I think she wants to be a nudist. But she refuses headbands.

Well, so far I have found 1 thing in the year I've had my Quinn (DOT E-an). She HATES heels. She would wear one of the pairs of heels (having 2 at the time), but now that I've bought her boots, she's more cooperative! She'll actually stand where she wouldn't have any of it before. It was the craziest thing.

But, I can get Cara (LTF Chiwoo Elf) to practically do anything. Even wear Quinn's shoes XD

 

Do you have heel feet for her? I need to get them for my E-An, as I can put low heels on her and have them look OK, but she can't stand in them to save her life, I had to put her on a stand. (Which she's on all the time anyway, cause I'm afraid of her falling over...)

 

As for my girl, Belka... hmmm. Now that I think about it, she doesn't seem to particulary dislike anything. She likes lolita clothes, she likes simple&clean girl clothes, she would like to wear punk and kimono... In fact, I think I'm the one who would refuse her wearing something too short (not again anyway). However, she doesn't seem to like panties much. Always tries to wiggle out of them when I ut anything off her.

My other doll, Ilya, hasn't arrived yet, but he originated as a character what, about a year ago? He is supposed to be Belka's yonger brother (with her automatically putting herself as his boss ^^"""" haha, kids). He doesn't seem to care for clothes much, but is more agreeable towards plain styles. And he promtly said "Nothing girly". He's a very boyish boy =)

Belka would like to have some matching outfits with him. Ilya isn't too thrilled about it, but he would put up with anything as long as it isn't girly.

 

Character-wise, none of my boys will do ruffly or girly or old fashioned at ALL. Amir will not do sloppy or cheap. Loki hates to dress up. Mike won't wear anything that isn't black or dark colored.

Doll-wise, when Amir was an AoD Chen, before the upgrade, a lot of shoes were too small for his feet and a lot of pants had...um...problems due to his...endowments...>.> Mike (DiM Robel on AoD v2 body) has the same issue. and nothing seems to fit Lucien, my BBB Nissa...I think he likes being naked.

 

My soon to be ordered Crystal... >.> she hates pink.. i keep trying to find clothes for her before i get her.... and.. every time something pink shows up, i just get this smack in the back of my head o.o..... it's weird.....I gave up....i am just gonna make her some clothes...

 

I don't quite have anything Elodae refuses to wear, but there is an outfit that makes her VERY unhappy. She was naked for a long time because I was unable to sew for her and couldn't afford to buy her clothes online. Eventually, we went to Toys'R'Us and looked around for a suitable outfit. We found a soccer outfit for a similar height, but more childlike, doll that looked like it might fit, so we went ahead and bought it!

Elodae didn't fight putting it on too much, but I have never seen a doll look more pissed off. She was so unhappy to be in that outfit, but I didn't want to just leave her sitting around naked in the living room! I felt so bad! Even my mom commented on how angry she looked.

 

One refuses to wear glasses and natural hair colors

most of the dolls I've had had problems with at least one joints on their legs and so when they would wear pants the joint was pretty much impossible to put back in place <.< (usually it's the thigh joint)

and shoes. they can never pose a well with shoes -__- you would think a long boot would help their ankles to be stronger, but noooooo. instead it just makes the foot unbalanced in the boot.
that or the pants gets in the way and push off the shoes!

 

SAe never wants to wear his pants properly, always wants to show his butt while sitting down XD
he also refuses to take of his converse...unless his feets are allowed to go off with them -__-

 

Dresses. Though I guess it makes sense, because I'm talking about a boy. o.o

He's sulking a bit because he knows he'll have to model my incoming LTF's dresses.

 

If it's not black, Liam won't wear it. Easy as that. He seems to think he's an extra from The Lost Boys.

And unless they both have the exact same thing, Julia and Valentina won't wear it. They have to match. All the time. No exceptions. Must be a twin thing.

 

Renji will not do anything girly. Trey says he won't, but Renji thinks some of his tight punk pants are a bit fey. Dana will NOT wear the little bunny slippers he has (so CUTE ~sigh~) Macsen won't do dresses either - he hates girls (13 ya know) & girly clothes. Debbie? She LOVES to play dress up Refuses to put on her PJs at night but that's because it means she's going to bed & will miss stuff LOL

 

Pants and short sleeve shirts :/ Her character is supposed to wear girly dresses but I thought it would be cool to dress her up for some photos and she was having none of it! At least she cooperated right away with the character she was supposed to be

 

One of my dolls refuses to wear anything that isn't home made. It's quite annoying really because I'm not that good at sewing clothing. She's still in this ugly gold dress I made her when I first got her...

 

Layla refuses to wear fur wigs. She says they just don't look good on her. That and dark, punky, and gothy clothes.

 

My raver boy Dak is a happy looking fellow 99% of the time but you should what he does when I try to dress him nicely for any occasion XD Last Easter I thought it would be fun to get the boys all gussied up in formal clothes, and boy did he hate it. Kicking, flailing, refusing to let me put dress pants oh him... Finally got the little rotter dressed but boy did he look disgruntled.

 

One of my dolls refuse to wear anything I sew. Her knees always do that buckling thing I've mentioned before, and it becomes difficult to steady her so I can put something on her. I haven't sewn anything in a couple of months, but regardless of whether it fits properly or not (it usually doesn't), there's a lot of struggle.

 

No dresses for the big boys. However robes and kimono-like outfits are okay at least for the demon. I tried a skirt on my Shiwoo and he just looked very annoyed with me. Like "If you ever try this again..." kind of look.

 

Absolutely no dresses. They are both boys but Hydee has been known to wear girl kimono. But no dresses. Ever.

 

Sometimes I find it difficult to put on clothes that haven't been used in some time. O_o I wanted one of my girls to wear a dress I sewed half a year ago again and it was like it shrunk or something. Didn't wash it, though, strange...
As for their characters I have some clothes they won't wear.

Mayou: Short skirts and anything showing too much skin.
Awa: Short pants
R.V: girly clothes in general, especially frilly dresses
ZhenMing: Shoes and too tight clothes
Yang: T-shirts
Angmata: Pants
Uta: any clothes but the ones he's wearing now
Arem: Hats
Hebera: Pants
Vinto: doesn't mind and would wear anything

My elf Binx hates his shoes! Whenever I put them on him, he instantly curls into a fetal position and wont pose right until I take them off XD

 

I'm so lucky with Chaeri--there isn't anything she really refuses to wear. She'll happily wear anything I offer her. I wish my other dolls were so agreeable about clothes, honestly. Most of the others pick one outfit and won't wear anything else. Miyae has yet to find anything she really likes. Grr.

 

Hanabi refuses to wear the kimono or yukata correctly, but I force her, sometimes x3
And Katha... she doesn't like wearing any type of clothes, but I force her too xD

 

My Gregory refuses to wear collar, though he has cat ears. He just gave me that "WTF?" look when I tried to put it on. X D
Probably he is too prideful for that kind of thing.

 

Skinny jeans XD She hates them and so do I XD.

 

This. My boys Mac & Kenny are 14 - Kenny MIGHT wear something cute but Mac? He's a DZ Mo & they so can GLARE. I tried putting a cute little cub-eared hat on him ~sigh~ sulking ensued.
I put some pleather shorts on Trey & he looked so hot in them but, noooooo, wants his pants back.

Lianna insists on cleavage while Chloe wants hippie stuff & Frannie, well she's 17 & wants stuff to die for (I confer w/my daughter for her outfits LOL) I had her in what I thought was such a nice little outfit & she just sat sulking until I changed it.

Dana Jackson (AS Dana) is so sweet - I can dress him in anything (including Little Lord Fauntleroy SteamPunk) & he's just fine LOL

 

Rudy will not wear a suit. Not to anything.

Sally will wear anything.

 

Right now Carnival refuses to wear anything. I have yet to find something that fits his character and that he looks good in. I have no idea what I'm going to do with him.

 

Bailou is a sweetheart who'll wear anything I put on her. But Cuisine, my PKF, absolutely refuses to wear pants. She's such a feminine girl.

 

Joren doesn't really "refuse" to wear anything, but she seems happiest when I just let her sit around in her undies!

 

If it isn't cool or if it isn't cute, my boy isn't wearing it. Though we can both agree that he shouldn't wear anything that isn't up to our standards. (*> u o*) Like you will not find him wearing a polo shirt and khakis. (*O _ O*) So we pretty much agree on clothing since we have pretty similar tastes. ^^

Also maybe it's just me, but I cannot get any headdresses on his head. I don't know if I am just not putting it on right but I can't do it. I just ordered another one recently so hopefully that one will work out well.

 

Audrey refuses to cover her ladyparts with ANYTHING. Underwear gets caught in her leg joint, pants fall off, skirts and dresses ride up, leggings somehow come down... It pains me greatly to have such an obscene young lady ;-;

 

Dren will not wear shoes, partly because of her ankle problem.
Rhiannon will not wear anything at all! Except jewelry. Clothes just look so restricting on her and wrong.
At the moment, Trystan will not wear a wig so he's sporting a bald look. He throws his head back and knocks them off. Hopefully I'll find a suitable wig soon.
I get the sense that Smaug will not wear anything at all, and that Ichabod will only wear the finest suits. I'll just have to wait and see.

 

I knitted a pink shirt to my boy Mylo.
He's a Minifee active line with magnets hands so in demostration he throws his hands off.

 

My doll just really does not like shoes. And he's not terribly fond of black clothes either.

 

Pink, pink, tacky red and pink. I don't know why, but her eyes.. her eyes burn right through my skull with hatred whenever I even remotely consider buying fabric in those colours. True story =D

 

My Gabriel would refuse anything punkish or modern goth-looking. It's not his nature and plus they look weird on him for some strange reason. I also had a hard time getting him to don the black turtleneck I recently bought.

 

My girl Yume refuses to wear anything that are too feminine ~(Lolita and lace cute thing are forbidden >_>)
Kira hates colourful clothes ~ He loves black, and stand white, grey and wine D:

shoes are the hardestthings to put on my girls! its so frusterating but i know they will look so cute in the end!

 

Everything. None of them like wearing clothes or wigs, so they tend to knock around the house nude. When I do make them get dressed, Aisling refuses to keep her shoes on for more than a few seconds and ditches them ever chance she gets. Fionan will keep his clothes on, but they always end up rumpled and disheveled before he'll settle down for a shoot.

 

Cesavier hates wearing shoes. He'll happily live in socks or bare feet, and occasional he'll consent to wearing his big stompy boots, but generally his feet are awkward to get in to shoes and his knee pops out. He squirms about until I give up. He's more mischievous with it than anything.

Seraphine refuses to wear pants. She kicks her legs and glares at me. She looks her happiest in pink, frilly dresses... not something I had envisioned for her at all, but her glare could sink ships!

 

Kei's a laidback guy so there's not anything he'll refuse to wear. There's an outfit I'm eyeing that's wayyy too girly for him... but he'll deal with it.

 

Faolin refuses to wear pink floral. I have no idea why, but he has torn things before that are that. He claims he will destroy anything like thatbefore he puts it on. XD

 

Andy will absolutely not wear anything dark. No leather or jewelry with chains, and if I try to dress him like that, he will flop around and look disgusted. His distaste for dark clothing completely ruined my Halloween photoshoot.

 

Adia does not wear pants. Leggings are fine as long as there is a dress or skirt over them. She just looks bulky and awkward in pants and goes all jellylegs in them!

 

My PukiFee, Tabitha, won't wear the hoodie I just made for her. I think it's because the hood messes with her wig and Bit likes her hair to be neat and tidy.

 

Eden and Harley will wear anything without a fuss, but Anya does not like wearing the sweater I originally bought for her. Her elbows will twist out of place and she looks incredibly sad. She won't wear her original wig either; it falls off her head. However, Anya will wear completely outlandish clothes, like a rainbow dress and mardi gras beads...

Though there is one thing Harley won't wear, and it's panties. Her underwear just goes right down. How unfortunate, considering she likes wearing skirts!

 

RIBBONS?! Seriously? My doll doesnt like ribbons at all. i bought her socks with ribbons and when i put it on her the ribbons FELL OFF!! i thought probably it is just an accident. then all her shoes need to be tied and all i know is to do the ribbon tie. she refuse to stand up?! then i tried to do a rabbit tie (it is like bunny ears so i called it like that) and she will stand all day. today my theory was comfirmed . i bought her undies which happened to have a ribbon then it miraculously fell off....... P.P i love ribbons and she hates it

 

Mine hates company made wigs. Since my little boy has an oval head shape rather than a circle, the thing either gets misaligned or flips off.

 

Girl clothes for my boys is a big NO.

Kyoshi doesn't wear punk clothes, he's my casual little prince and the only one who pulls off the nerd look.

Rosiel is my punk guy and he would not wear kyoshi's wardrobe :P sometimes they both agree to wear simple clothes like jeans and shirts but when it comes to their styles, they are like sweet and sour!

Dantes, he's very casual. I noticed that he doesn't like punk, rock or sport clothes. He's always well dressed.

Santii, he wears 'prince' clothes^^ he doesn't feel like himself in everyday clothes.

Orien...He's my skater boy, and doesn't like casual clothes.

For my pukis, no hoodies or coats and my girl loves pink and colorful clothes.

So many different styles...my wallet is always crying!! >.<

 

Finch is a stubborn little boy and doesn’t like to wear clothes period—mostly because he’s so incredibly tiny and unusual compared to most YoSDs, that nothing actually fits him properly >x<

 

my girl wont wear anything i make...she has big boobs, a jlo butt and man shoulders. plus she thinks im a terrible seamstress..she rips everything i make.

 

well for Julian it's dresses XD Kelebek will cross-dress no problem (actually seems to enjoy it) but if you even try to put a dress on Julian jokingly, he will flip out and fy forward, head-butting you in a painful smashing manner that gets his point across ^_^;
