What does your doll refuse to wear??

For most of my crew? ... Shoes.

Amber wears his fancy little bow shoes, Shatterglass likes his "rockstar boots", and Harumatsu will put up with his stompy boots when he's wearing his "jedi" outfit... But any other time? Any of the other dolls? Nope. They're not having it.

I can't even keep socks on Crane's feet.
He's just determined to be barefoot... 0_o

 

Priscilla (my Lishe) fights me when I try to take off her little lingire undershirt/ bra bit! D:!! She also HATES pants... as in I tried Gabriel's (my Hound's) pants on her and it took me 20 minutes to get them on her... *sigh*

Gabriel won't wear boxers -.- or any shorts for that matter. Says he has chicken legs *rolls eyes*

Miette (Serendipty freyja14/ DoC Twing-key hybrid) will only wear white and pink. ONLY. Fights me horrendously about everythign else. And only blond wigs. No other color. >.>;;

Babette (Unoa Sist) Wears everythign with little fuss. She's sucha good girl! hehe!

Jeans. It'll be the apocalypse when Hayden takes off his jeans for another pair of pants.

Other than that... He refuses to wear leather of any kind. He says if gives him 'problems'. *rolls eyes*

 

Kyo has this I hate happy colors problem. He's a sucker for anything that is mostly the color black XD Oh and he refuses to crossdress- ever.

Marise on the other hand is the opposite of Kyo~ she's so girly, she loves pink and white the most. And stays clear of black XD except this one black sweater that is just so darling on her... and she sat in it for a while with no problems ^^

 

with Jenova it was clothing in general , he would sit around nekkid if I allowed him to do it <_<... but I have a 12 year old in the house who -does- know that boys have parts and all, but really doesn't need to see it on a daily basis >_< so we made a deal, he wears clothing and I let him go commando. So no undies for him [and yet his pants are constantly coming undone somehow... jerk]

other than that he's pretty good about it. But there are a few things I wouldn't even attempt to put on him because I know I'd find myself hurt in nasty ways [lol yeah yeah, theoretically speaking is what I mean xD] and that would be frilly girly things or corsets. If you ever see Jenova in a corset, expect the world to blow up shortly after ....

and in turn, the almost exact opposite goes for Fuan. Will not wear boy clothing at all. With him it's all dresses and lingerie. Where as his brother won't wear anything remotely girly [like polar opposites those two]

and none of mine save Hesue bother with socks. They don't like them at all and so I don't try and get them to wear any.

oh and undies... it seems like more than one here has issues with underwear for some reason...

 

Antioch and his ankle boots. . .he just won't have them. He also hates t-shirts. . .weird becuse his head is MUCh smaller then Edessas and Edessa can put on the same t-shirt with no trouble at all.
Acre has a hate for hats. She throws them off no matter what kind. . even her pink and black striped beanie.

 

My girl, Luca, will not wear anything unless it's too big, old, ripped, belongs to somebody else, hand-made, stained, generally ragged and worn-looking, antique...you get the picture. I can't buy clothes for her at all - well, unless they belonged to another doll a very, very long time ago... She detests underwear or anything remotely fitted or confining - and this includes shoes, unless they're too big and require thick, scrunchy socks to make them stay on :P

As for the boys - Sway will try anything once, fiddle with it, and figure out whether it suits him/lives up to his aesthetic/standards. Sash won't wear anything girly, and would wear black 24/7 with no qualms. He also never wears underwear.

 

Kiry will flat refuse to wear anything that is not feminine. As long as she can woman it up, she'll wear it, but you won't ever see her in butchwear. But i can't really get her to wear... girly girl stuff. She tollerated some pink stuff i made her because it was variety, but she does not like them. Right now she's in a skirts mood, so she won't even look at pants. What's the line from Working Girl? "You're the only woman here that dresses like a woman, not how a woman thinks a man would dress if he were a woman."​

 

pastels.. not ONE of my kids will go near them.. and they look at me with 'that look' (the one that warns me to sleep with one eye open) if I even THINK of white as more than an accent...

I dunno why.. seriously.. I thought ixia would be all girly and pink, and Kanone (Matilda) would DEFINITELY suit white and baby blue.. but NO.. its black and bright jewel colours for the whole gang :/ There goes all the great EGL outfits I had planned for alice :<

The other thing is hair in human colours - talk about SULK!! Dru will wear black.. and he's the only one.. but he prefers it with blue or orange streaks in it....so I have a collection of nearly TWO DOZEN non human coloured wigs.. purple seems to be the most popular so far.....

Anything with an EXTREME amount of ruffles, or that looks like it came off the type of doll your grandmother would collect. Now that's just creepy.

 

Muffin and Jamie, they're both boys, but they refuse to wear each other's clothes, i have to make TWO sets of everything or else one will always go naked

 

James won't wear anything too punk-ish, rock-star-y, or emo. He also won't wear 'casual' unless I stab him in the eye (well, threaten him to). He's a prissy, very classy young prince.

Henry, lol, Henry doesn't really care. He'll let me dress him up in whatever I want. His favourite clothes, however, are baggy khakis and over-sized sweaters. He likes to go barefoot.

Of course, this is all on the assumption they have clothes. Which they don't, not right now. James is only wearing apair of second-hand leather trousers I bought from DOA, and Henry is starkers. We keep him covered up in a baby blanket.

 

Corpse refuses to wear any form of MALE underwear, Devin thinks all underwear is unhealthy and is disgusted when C wears frilly nickers, Cain will wear anything, pretty much literally, as long as he is still either cute or tough, Brenda will not wear pants, at all, ever

 

Undies. My little boy likes to go free. I wish he would wear some, though, because I constantly have to answer questions about "the bulge". *rolls eyes*

 

ariel thought she wanted jeans but she refuses now... and viola won't wear shoes. ever ever.

 

Isazu doesn't like pants much. Stephanie hates clothes. all clothes. she is very proud of her body, i guess. similarly, Kichibei fights until i get the boots on, and then he quiets down.

Miki hates lace, which is a pity since she looks so cute in it

 

Well lets see. Shinku won't wear anything but HER dress. She has one dress, and she's quite happy with it (even though i'd be willing to pay cheerydoll prices for more), and Jun, well, all his clothes cost me an arm and a leg, particularly his SSW outfit. He doesn't wear shoes, or underwear, teenagers -_-;

 

Malach refuses to wear anything plaid. He absolutely hates plaid, which is funny because he begged for an outfit that has plaid pants. He claims he just wanted the top. Oh and anything that is remotely cutesy or girly. He thinks he is girly enough looking without me putting him in girly clothes.

Nikko will fight with me about wearing socks, but beyond that he will wear just about anything. Though there are days it is difficult to get a shirt on him.

 

Anything leather because it's tacky on him.

 

Brie will wear about anything you tell her is cute. Or makes her look cute. She's wary of pink. She prefers dresses. She has yet to refuse to wear anything bought for her, whether she destests them or loves them. She wears them because they were gifts. She wears them at least once and hides them henceforth.

Torrence... He prefers blacks, whites and grays. He'll wear cremes and some blues.... Absolutely loathes pink. Especially hot pink. Torrie'll wear suits, kimonos and just about anything dark, black and fierce looking. Anything else and you have a fight on your hands.

George refuses to wear any wig but his white Cancan bob or his blond leekeworld surly teen wig. I love him as a redhead but no... The wig fits perfectly then three seconds later it is flying across the room. He will not wear Dennis' clothes because he's afraid he'll catch something. I'd love to put him in bondage gear but the look of abject horror is withering.

Illya will not wear trousers of any sort. She is a girl, thank you.

Nana likes many things and isn't as crabby about trying on new stuff.

Dennis likes flares, loud shirts and real shoes. He will not wear anything poncy or
girly but may indeed let me handcuff him to things. Especially if Nana is adminstering the correction in a red corset...

 

Yoriko: Frills. Lace. Skirts. Dresses. She's a jeans girl, thank you very much. Though she's actually contemplating wearing a dress to get through to Fall that she's really a girl.

Fall: He's pretty much willing to wear anything, as long as he doesn't look like David. But he was glad to give up the leather pants, platform boots and black turtleneck to David.

David: Girly clothes, corsets, rainbow colors and happy prints. He loves his black leather, he does, and won't wear ANYTHING except his butt-kicking platform boots. Don't know what he'll do if his new body's feet don't fit those boots...

Yuki: Skirts & girly clothes. Things with buttons. He'd wear nothing if he could get away with it, but I won't let him for the most part.

Rikio: Girly clothes. Other than that he'll wear pretty much anything without complaint. He doesn't complain, you see.

Harumi: PANTS! OMG, the world would end if Harumi wore a pair of pants. Anything without lace on it somewhere. She wants as much lace as you can fit on a 1/6 scale set of clothes.

 

For my Shin boy? Pink, Lacey, Panties! That and short-shorts but the panties are a no no anywhere even in the house. The short-shorts he might wear in the privacy of my home. The reason I say panties is cuz a friend of mine wants a pic of him in them.

 

Well, I don't have a lot of clothing yet, but I know what they like:

Pwi: Anything un-girly. black, brown, non pastel colours. No reds, and absolutely NO pants.
She's a white and pastels girl. She woulnd't mind a straw hat, but I have yet to find one that fits her. (the problems of dressing oddly-sized OOAK dolls ^^'')

Xylaz: Bright colours. Cotton, hats, shorts (unless they're matched up with some leggings and don't show off too much leg skin =__='') Loose pants, underwear (unless it's silky >.>''), and anything that doesn't show off his manly chest.
He loves black, red, and dark red/burgandy. He adores leather and silky materials, and hates the fact that he doesn't have any butt-kicking boots yet (sheesh, the boy's not even here yet). He will however cross-dress, so long as the clothing's tastefull, and he doesn't have to sit around in it for more then a few hours. XD I'm going to have fun with this boy.

 

Anything trendy. It's just not gonna happen. She's rather Goth in style.

Kristoff likes to wear caftans, robes and middle eastern period clothing, although he'll wear modern clothing if he has too.

He likes the freedom of a flowing robe and he can get away with not wearing undies.

He does remind me though that they are not dresses, but traditional men's clothing. Okay! I get it!

 

Venus doesn't like anything ruffly or lolita. She likes bold and edgy. Dea is my ruffles, lace, lolita girl. Aurora is a boho girl.

 

Corsets. >___< Ruri refuses to wear corsets, and after a giant struggle to get one on her, she looks so uncomfortable and awkward that I can't leave her wearing it.

 

Well...Claude refuses to wear borrowed clothes. When I first got him and he had no pants, I tried to put a pair of pants from a big cloth doll I have, only temporarily--they were black, and velvet, and actually mostly fit, so I though that was a good solution--nope, he wasn't having any of it. ^^; I can only get him into 'second-hand' clothes if they've been modified specifically to fit him.

With Corinthienne, it's pants. I have a cute pair of jeans from a Teen Trends doll that fit her...but she just won't wear them. No way. Only skirts and dresses. On the other hand, she is more than willing to steal clothes from other dolls.

Shibu...not sure with him, yet. He's not the type to object to anything, really. I can't take off his orb necklace, though. Seriously. It came off accidentally and his arm flew out and caught it. <__<

...and Forgotten refuses to wear Shibu's clothes, even for just a little while. Even though they're sharing a body. Apparently, they're not goth enough for him. *sigh*

 

Karyuu is the only once who refuses to wear something which is not his style, or a dress >.<

 

Kelyn will not wear any shirt that is short-sleeved (looks undignified), and will not wear shorts (more undignified) and will not wear bright colors (...definitely not).

Seine won't wear something blue if it doesn't match his eyes (so vain).

Aneirin will not wear lcolor. Er, like. At all.

 

Vasiley won't wear anything that is too sexy/slutty and he doesn't like casual stuff..Sumiya doesn't like underwear unless it's pretty and people can see it XD and he won't wear wide stuff, anything that hides, as he puts it, "this gorgeous body of mine" ^^;; XD

 

Gwena won't wear anything "punk" -- no red & black, rips, tears, chains, hardware, etc. And if its not cute, she won't wear it either, so forget anything sophisticated!

Hayden's too sweet to flat-out refuse to wear certain things . . . but he just looks so utterly uncomfortable and wrong in them that I don't try to force him to. So anything leather, girly, or sexy is a definite no on him.

 

remedy won't really wear anything edgy at all. she likes pretty things with a vintage touch. though, she's got a dress that verges on lolita style, but its more on the sweet side so she lets it slide. none of my girls are particularly into goth-loli style, though. nothing against it (i've got other non-bjd who dress that way) but the resin love like to be pretty. eisley doesn't like red anymore, though she wore a lot of it when she arrived. munkie won't wear shoes or socks. she likes when her huge feet are hanging out all the time! none of them are really interested in "dressing up" though, either. nothing too shiny or sequin-y or anything like that.

 

Well, out of things she owns, Iglen will refuse to wear t-shirts. I bought her a couple of t-shirts and she gives me a look of hate and stuggles to put on each one. So, yes, that's a no-no.

..and she loves her blonde wig and hates taking it off, despite having a couple of others and looking just lovely in them too, so it goes both ways.

 

Now that I have Semi I can see she likes to steal my scissors to cut holes in her clothing. And I forbid her from wearing white...

 

Kerri will not wear pants. She'll wear skirts, most dresses, and skirts with leggings but no normal pants.

Kerri doesn't like over the top clothing. She wants to look normal which makes clothes shopping for her very hard. Because she doesn't want anything that punk (she wear a plaid skirt but with no chains, safety pins, holes or tears), gothic, or anything that has too lace.

She also hates oversize tee-shirts. She knows she has small boobs and a somewhat boyish hair cut. She doesn't want to be confused for a boy. So she loves fitted tee-shirts.

 

My Samiya is hard to shop for. She likes somewhat girly things, but I'm starting to only see her in nicely cut, prim and proper types of clothing. I'm trying to break her out of that soon enough. >.< Oh, and she has decided that she is an indefinite blonde.

My Balavan will NOT wear anything black. Only light colored things. Blue or grey pants/slacks, and light colored button-up shirts. That's ALL he'll wear.

The twins are picky... Rhiannon will ONLY wear Lolita dresses. REALLY cute lolita dresses, in pastel cool colors. Greens, and blues, and purples. And she will ALWAYS have Auburn hair. While, her sister, Lilith will also only wear cutesy, frilly lolita dresses. But almost always pink. Maybe some pastel orange and yellow.. but usually pink. Rhiannon HATES black, and thus she and her sister will never wear it.

My Cyber punk girly (currently unnamed yet): HATES light colors. Neon colors are good. White is okay, on occasion... but NOT frilly! She will only wear some huge kickbutt boots, and always has her goggles on her head, or some other accessory. And her man, one day, will be the same.

 

My doll-to-be, Andrei, tends toward more classical stuff... so no tee shirts unless he's sleeping and/or doesn't care due to some external stimulus. And nothing lacy or frilly.

(( And now I'll never get a chance to buy pretty fluffy lolita dresses... not for a couple more years anyway, when I get a job and enough disposable income for his sister... ))

Wigs seem to be the optional thing for my gang.

Last weekend at a meet (at LACon), I finally gave in to my Miko, who'd been flinging every wig I brought for him to the floor. Don't want to wear a wig, go bald, fine by me.

And it was after that, that my Kurenai & Miko pair were called lesbians. Whatever, the fluffy curly-wigged girl and the bald male 'girl?'

He accepted a wig from Volks the next day, though, when I went there.


But quite a few of my dolls just don't care if they're bald, or prefer it.

Hmm. Karo's a little weird about things that make him look too feminine. Today he asked that I put his old white base wig back on instead of the orange pigtails! I think he figured out that, A: Anis also come in girls, and B: Sultra looks alot more boyish than him, even in a skirt and pigtail. XD I guess now I'm just the home of the pigtail boy, not the boyS!

Sultra on the other hand.. he'll try anything! He's gone from a cute, Fruits style, to a total all black goth style, and now I think he's settled on his own sort of raver-esque style. Black shortshorts, striped socks, boots and rainbow tube tops. xD

Sultra looooves his jewelry. He's got some mardi-gras beads and hairclips that he just will not part with, even for bed. xD

Karo wore a very cute beany baby bandana there for about a month, but he took it off when he started wearing the orange pigtails. At this point I'll probably give it back to him. xD

 

Lucifer doesn't really like to wear shorts, unless they are leather and preferably really short. ^_^

He also doesn't like to wear white, especially white dress shirts.
He will occasionally wear white t-shirts or tank tops if they have pictures on them and he thinks they are cute, or more importantly, he thinks he looks cute in them! ^_~

Although he adores the ribbons, lace, and frills of the EGL look, he won't be caught dead in EGL dresses or skirts!
He prefers to wear blouses or tops in that style, with pants.

He flat out refuses to wear any girl's dresses or skirts at all.
However, he will happily wear the half skirt that came with one of his Asian style outfits. Lol!

He loves to wear anything that is black or purple, and he adores anything that is black leather and sexy! ^_~

He also has a pentegram necklace that he wears almost constantly. ^_^

 

Pants.

No, I mean, LONG pants haha. XD Nemian loves shorts. That, and I don't think he'd ever wear leather. It's just not him.

 

Hrm, none of my dolls like to wear black wigs. It simply doesn't click with any of them. But other than that, they are easygoing about clothing I choose for them.

 

The floating spirit that will be Deshwitat has threatened me with Chucky-style bodily harm if I ever put him in drag (he told me this, btw, while looking at pictures of Nezumitoo's Fuan (sorry Fuan!)).

Deshwitat: I'm serious about this. And no pink. Ever.

 

Basil is a manly kinda boy... he refuses to wear anything close to "feminine". I do plan on putting scarves around his waist and such, but that's all he'll allow.

my other nancyboy, he'll be in that one-off outfit forever. I kind of refuse to play with him :X

 

Yori refuses to wear dresses and anything pink, so pink dresses are way out of the question xD;;

Cepherus on the other hand, doesn't seem to like wearing anything but what he has on right now o_o;;
