What Do You Call Your "Group" of Dolls?

I call them my "girls"

 

I call them my "Party" seeing as they are D&D characters and that's what one usually calls a group of characters in a D&D game

 

I call them my "crew". I have no idea why or when I started calling them that, but it's always just stuck. Though in all honesty, when I refer to "my crew" I am usually just talking about my MSDs. I usually call any non-msd by they're name or sculpt XD

 

I just call it my dolls, or my collection. I tend not to indulge in cutesy-tawk in polite company.

If I'm among other dollfolk, it might also be referred to as the boys, or the harem. ^^

 

I think it depends. I've used "my boys", "my lot", "my group" and "my dolls"/"my doll collection".

 

I usually call them the Resin Folk or the Little Ones. Sometimes the Resin Kids will pop out here and there.

 

Together they are "the girls"
"little one/s" sometimes

 

I call them my "boys". they are all male, not realted to each other. Boys is the most generic appaying to them.

I say my dolls/my boys. I don't have a girl, but I'm hoping to have a genderfluid baby to bring home soon.

 

"Ok guys, you can hang out for a bit, but please don't touch the doll herd. They were /expensive/"

 

My resin kids, to differentiate them from my flesh-and-bone kids

 

Just simple "My Girls".. though sometimes it'll go into "my dolls" since not all of them are girls!

 

I call them "the/my guys" or "the crew".
I like the last one better, but it seems I always call them my guys. Poor Elysa...

Mine are "the girls" or "the crew" (since there will be boys at some point in the hopefully-not-too-distant future!). Sometimes "my resin roommates"

 

Usually either "The resin fellowship" or "Mes bebelles"

 

I either refer to mine as my/the resin crew or resin residents. Sometimes I'll just call them the dolls too.

The family, of course (not to be confused with the human family)

But overall it is a small family. ^^
I try not to say "my dolls", because they are a little more then only dolls.

 

Mine are, "My babies in the resin" xD

 

I usually call them my doll family,but lately I got in the habit of calling them my Babies.

 

Around non-doll people, they're generally just "my dolls". Around doll people, they're either "the resinbrats", "my/the crew", or "the Menagerie". Their collective unofficial title is "the Crass Menagerie", mostly because I'm kind of a nerd and I think it's funny.

 

I have found myself referring to them as "my girls." (I don't have any males in my collection, and I never plan too, male dolls just aren't my thing ^^; )


The Menagerie is actually a really good name, Hominiorax! I like it.

 

I always refer to them as my gang haha I went for a long time with just one doll though and I always called him my boy. ^^

 

I call them my boys or my pretty boys

 

Strange as it sounds; I refer to them as 'My lovelies.' Not in the creepy sense either; as in 'lovely friends'

 

Depends on which group I'm referring to. My Fairyland & friends tinies are my "posse."
My Elfdoll Catsies are one "cat-gang" because they are dollhouse size, and my Pipos cat and Luts cat anthros are another class of "cat-gang." I only refer to one cat-gang at a time.
My large dolls are collectively known as my "SDs" and they vary in size from 52cm to 70cm,
and my MSDs are referred to as my "Minifees" because I only have two.

 

Freeloaders, as in, "Look, you [expletive redacted] freeloaders, stand up straight already!"

I like to avoid scaring people so I call them my dollies in public, but to my close friends they're my "other friends." <<;

 

With people outside the household: 'My dolls'
With immediate family: 'The dolls'
With close friends: "My guys' or 'the boys'
^ They'll know who I'm talking about.

My mother actually refers to them as her grandchildren, ex. "Is that a... cigarette? You're letting my grandchild smoke?"

 

With friends who aren't into this hobby: "My dolls"
With my immediate family: "The dolls"
With my mum and friends who are into this hobby: "My kids" or "The kids".

 

I call my Volks dollfie dreams 'my girls' and my luts boys simply 'the boys'.
Everyone else simply calls them 'my dolls'.

 

Well, I call them my "doll family" with other dolls people, as well as my crew or doll crew. Sometimes when I walk into the room they're in, I greet them with a "hey, peeps". XD Lately, I've pet termed them as "the Resins". CoverGoth and I also call our dolls "Resin Rock Stars."

Mine are called the crew because they are suposed to be the crew of the airship Bohème.

I call them my girls/kids. I'll have to start using the term kids all the time soon, though! My first two male BJDs are arriving soon!

 

I only have two so far, and have only seen one of them, (the second is staying in her box until after I graduate), but I have come to think of the eventual group as "the tribe". They will all be 1/6 scale. The other group is 1/4 scale and so far all OT, are "the Tonner dolls" as that's the company that made them. If I add Resin Soul members to that group (or maybe before then) the will be "the residents and friends of Not-Yet-Named Estate", which is where they supposedly live. All together, plus the four porcelain ones, they are "my dolls". Quite unoriginal, I know.

 

My girls!!! I have only one bjd an Unoa Sist YES!!! I am quite newbie here!! I wish I had more money to have a larger family of bjd but that lays in the future!! So for now I only have my Blythes and my Unoa among other kind of dolls!! So My girls it is!!!!

For me it's just my 'dolls' or 'dollies'

 

I unoriginally call them my boys. i have one lone little girl banji from dollmore and she alone i call my baby girl. or the spoiled one as i tend to buy her the most gifts.

 

It depends on which part of the overall whole I'm talking about.

If it's all the dolls, it's a "collection." If it's a subset, it's a "family" or "narrative group."

Sometimes, I'll use a name or nickname for said family/narrative group, since each does have a proper name (they're all in my profile, for the curious). And sometimes, if I break it down even farther, I'll refer to them as a particular name or nickname for that little group, like "the boys," or "the leaders," that kind of thing. There's no one specific name I call them.

 

Sometimes I refer to mine as my gang but as I have one boy on a Resinsoul Gang body it seems that could be confusing so I try to use "my crew" more.

 

"my collection", or "my doll collection", if I think people might be confused. I mostly talk about specific dolls instead of the whole lot. Like "Victor got new eyes today", as opposed to "The dolls got new eyes" (I have too many to get something for all of them at once)

 

Verbally - the dolls.

Internally - Horde. (Literally)

 

They get called all sorts of things, "the girls" (because they're all girls), "the crew," "resin kids," "doll family," all seem to be the most common for me.

 

I usually just say doll since I only have one completed doll.

But once my boy arrives I am going to refer to them as a gaggle of resin creatures.

I call mine "goons" because they're all a bunch of weirdos lmao. If I were to show some decency, however, they're simply just my "doll crew".

 

My SDs are "the Court" (my medieval fantasy dolls) and The Art Dolls (current population 3, some rather heavily modded creatures)
My MSDs are "The Otherworld Gang" and the "Eddion Story gang" both named after their storylines.
The Tinies are just The Tinies, except for the Dojo Dolls, two pukifee Multiheads I have in my only totally modern story.

 

My/the girls, my pretty girls, for LTFs my little ones, for Chloe and NF (Coco and Mimi) the sisters.

 

I just call them my collection of dolls. I've always been a collector so I've my dolls have naturally acquired that term as well.
