Do you call it a group, a family, a cluster? What do you usually refer to your group of dolls as? For me, I tend to refer to them as my resin family, due to the fact that my two are brother and sister, so they're their own little family in some way.
Usually just 'my boys/guys', at least until the first girl I get. I use 'gang' or 'crew' now and again, when I'm talking about a future collection that includes both genders. Man, this makes me wish I was more creative about this... How about The Mongooses? That's a good team name. =^__^= Anneko
I call mine 'The Hidden cabaret' This makes them seem more of a cohesive group, and I got the name because I did a performance of Herr Drosslemeyer's Doll,( with The Doll) at a Steampunk show, called 'The Hidden Cabaret' So it all fits in quite nicely!
My girls are collectively known as the "dollieh krewe". That would be Megumi, Miyae, Belle, Ashe, and Chae-ri. I don't count the guys in with the group, really--they're all sort of free agents.
I usually refer to mine as 'My Crew.' Haha, I know its terribly clique but when you have what seems like so many, varying 'ages' and genders and lives... 'crew' just encompasses them much easier than most else lol.
My Creepers!! Though that's only on english websites, since I'm French I mostly call them "Mes bebelles" or "trucs, choses" all words for stuff, or "Ma gang; mes p'tit", my gang, little ones.... stuff like that :B Sometimes I'll say my guys and the twins *they are the only girls I have*.... I try not to say my dolls most of the time since they are a little more then only dolls :P
We have a few different names for different sections of the crew, since we have a few different storylines, but collectively they're called 'the dolls,' 'the crew,' and 'the boys'...even though we have a coulpe of girls now, lol! So it's 'the boys, and Delphi and Kippy.' XD
I often call them the/my "Resins." Though I suppose I could call them the Irisians, after the planet they're supposed to be from.
Well, I call em' my boys but I also like to refer to them as the 'Resin Mafia' ^_^ The story they fit in with has a bit of a 'mob' feel to it
I normally call them my girls... but I have a boy coming in a few days. So I'll be calling my group, or the guys (guys as a general term of people)
mine are "doll-pack" as i had been dogged way before i got dolled or just MSDs (that's the size i go for) for which i came with a team name "Massive Sanity Damage" so i could include my two plush bastards and any different size doll that might come in the future
'my kids'. I have no real kids and never will, so they really are the closest thing I have to kids. :P
Hmm I tend to say "My Lot" or "The Dolls" Never thought about coming up with a name for the group though. Story line/online wise it's "Suvi's Unseelie Doll World" though XD
It really depends on what group I'm referring to or who I'm talking about them to, such as Lakota's crew is called "The Midnight Garden" as each of them are symbolized by a certain flower in the story, like Lakota is an Orchid. But if I'm talking to my mum rather than my friends or fellow doll-lovers I just say "Lakota's gang".
When I had only boys, they were "the guys" but now I call them either "the Resinoids," or "the Band and the Fans." Those that are floating heads, which I keep in a basket I refer to as "the headbasket." Ryu
i call them "the kids" or "my two" right now cause i only have two yo's but when my msd sized dolls comes i might have to change that on account of him being older.
I call mine "my boys/guys", "My lodgers" and "The insane group." People who know of my collection call them as "All the king's men" or "Kiro's evil friends".
I call them the 'kids' but when my daughter is around it's the 'resin kids'! I have also used, the wee ones, dollie kids....whatever!
I have only boys (until my glot.comes) so I say "the boys" "my boys" and sometimes call them my babies lol I lack real children and don't really want any so my mum calls them my kids and her grandchildren. Lol
My spleen eaters.XD My bestfriend thinks dolls are creepy and declares very firmly that they will eat his spleen. Sooo they've kinda become that in my mind.
Mine are "the tribe". I didn't want to call them my dolls since I already have a collection of other dolls (kokeshi and Living Dead's mostly). When my demon twins came last year they just kind-of 'adopted' my first boy's surname since it fit well with their names as well, any new additions will become members of the tribe too (but they have to go through the initiation ceremony).
I just call them "the dolls'. I try not to refer to them as if they were actually alive because I am trying to keep a low profile about them around my family and non-doll collecting friends. The less they know about them, the better.
I call them "the bishis" or "my bishis" or... "bishibishis" ! I love to call them like this, I think it is the perfect name for them
For me, it depends who I'm talking to, I guess? Non-bjd people, I call them "My dolls." or "My dollies." For bjd people, I call them "My boys." usually. "The boys." from time to time, too.
In the past I tended to call them my resin, or my resin crew, or my crew. Once I realized that I allocate stuff amongst them and take them places based on seniority, I started calling them my resin union .
I usually just call them "The Boys", but sometimes "Lost Boys" or "The Harem" when I'm teasing my husband. Since I only have two girls who aren't tinies, I call them "The Twins", since that's what they are.
I also refer to them as "The Boys" plus the variant of "My Boys" depending on the context, and also "The Beauties."
My kids, the boys, chicos (<- usually with that expression lol), my passel. I like to use passel as often as possible, its an under-used word <w< *likes dromedary for the same reason*
I usually call them "my dollies" -- otherwise, it's "my resin darlings" or "my babies". I think that maybe once a few more come home I'll actually start referring to them as "the coven" (as I should) xD
My herd. Or, flock of resin chiddlers. (Chiddlers instead of children feels a lot more natural to me.) 8D
'The ladies' I tend to say as in 'Where are the ladies?' 'Hey ladies!' to my two SD females. I always refer to small dolls as 'tinks'!
