i usually call them "my babies". xD sometimes "the dollies" or when i'm talking directly to them (i talk to them a lot..) i just say "guys" or "loves".
Mine are a mixture of four, Dragon Clan, Demon Clan, Fallen Clan and the Wandering Clan, collectively though they are known as 'the hoard' XD
Mine get referred to as my doll fiends or resin fiends mostly *lol* although if it's just in conversation it's "the children".. although I'm hoping I don't get to the stage where I end up calling them my horde..
Well I only have two dolls right now but I tend to say "my boys" I guess...and the name will probably stick until I get a girl doll(the next like 3 or 4 dolls I want to get are all boys o.
We call ours a family, because there are SO many dolls in my house hold. Only one of them is mine lol. But there are 14 in total in the house I live in. So everyone is a family. My girl, only really likes and has met 5-6 others. lol. We don't have much time ot play yet.
I pretty much always refer to them simply as "my boys", since really the only people I talk to about my dolls are other doll owners, so they understand I'm not talking about any children or anything (I'm only 19 O_O)
Depends on who I'm talking to. Since I only have a couple I usually use their names, but I've also been known to call them by their species (the Night Terrors), 'the posse', or just 'the dolls'. XD
The gaggle or crew... I usually go with crew, but I've been noticing that I've been calling them a gaggle lately...
My friends call them my children lol I call them my boys (since I have only bought boys so far) and when I talk about them in public people really do think I have children
I started to call the group of my 3 SD dolls the "Kerala Pips," which was supposed to be their organization's (of thieves) name (like the Forty Elephants), but I stopped thinking of them in terms of that backstory, though I still like the name so I might continue to use it.
As a whole they are called "my babies" My MSD's are "the halflings/hobbits" and My tiny (soon to be tinies) is "my little fairy" or "my tiny girl"
I generally call them "my crew" or "my dolls" since calling them my "resin kids" or "resin family" seems sometimes odd to me. Especially around people who are not involved in the hobby. lol
I usually just say "My boys" or "The boys" 'cause I only have boys so far. If I'm talking to not doll people, it's usually just "my dolls/dollies". I've probably let other things slip, but I can't think of them at the moment. :P
Well we just moved and they all had to travel with my husband in his van. I kept telling him to take care of the "children". The movers would look very confused when we talked about him not turning the boxes upside down and keeping them out of the sun.
Depends, my "Resin Lot" is pretty commonly said, whilst if im refering to a specific group of dolls I own (in their stories) I say like "The Horde" or "My Rabbits" ahah
Seeing that right now all I have is boys my friends, who are not in the hobby, have dubbed them "the male harem" and the name just stuck lol
Usually for just Soraya, I used 'My baby' or 'princess' Since my second is on her way, I'll probably end up saying 'my babies', but mostly 'my girls'
I generally think of them as The Troupe, since I loosely regard my dolls as a company of actors who give life to the characters in my plays, vignettes, and photostories.
I think I answered this, I can't remember :s The Kids all together. The Girls for Kari, Merry and Lorrie. Or The Boys for Kit, Griffin and Pashley. (Yes Kit is a girl but she's a total 'dude')
I used to call them "my boys" until I got my first girl. After that it became "my children" instead. You should see the stares I get from old people thinking I am a multiple teenage mother
My family around here, my dolls to non-doll people. (And to some I don't mention them at all.) So nothing special really.
I refer to them as "my dolls" when I talk about them to my friends. They're all characters from the stories I write, but I can only wish I had a clever name for them. Sometimes I call them "you guys," like I'll say, "Okay you guys, time to get moving" if I have to get them off the floor or something. I wish I could come up with some kind of clever name for them.
My resins. Or rather, "The resins". I quite like that because it sounds like they're simply people made out of a different material ^^ Sometimes "The Creepy Crew", "The Creeps" or "You Hideous Bunch of Low-life Freaks." Also "YOU ****ING WHORES" which sounds great yelled in the middle of the night in the silence of an otherwise calm residential area.
I tend to call them "My boys" or "My Babies" XD. I do get funny looks for the last one, especially from my dad
It used to be "the boys", since all I had are boys... but that has drasticallly changed and for all of them, I just call them now "The Crumpets" or the "Rat-Pack"
It depends on my mood and how they annoy me XD.... So it goes from "Boys" to "B*tches" (yes it doesn't please them at all - except for Rosso and Héthaïre... they are used to it )
I usually refer to them as "my pukis" because the majority of them are Pukifees from Fairyland. Although I do own two Littlefees, they get lumped under the same name. Sometimes, though, I will refer to my LTFs as the "bigger pukis" for clarification. I also refer to all of them as my "dollies" or "dollie family" too.
Way back when I had less than five, I called them "the gents." Now, "the gents" usually only refers to my first three. I lovingly call the whole lot of them my urchins sometimes.
Evil. The Gaggle. Or possibly the Herd. Maybe Flock?? Sometimes Them (like the movie! Or was that They? Either way works XD). Usually I just call them the Crew or Horde (though I don't have zombies in there anywhere). Evil still slips out sometimes...
Right now, I sometimes call them "my girls" but mostly it's "Piper, & co." Although neither will last too long. Once Shoshana arrives they won't all be from the same storyline and once I get a boy... well, they won't all be girls. I'll probably call them "kidlets"
I called them my boys but I had to change it because now I have a tiny girl and I'm waiting for my first MSD girl so, I've been calling them as "my resin family" or "resin love"
normally i just say 'my dolls' occasionally i will say 'my girls' (normally i only use this phrase when talking to other people in the hobby) but usually in a way that is only semi-serious or casual. i'm emotionally attached to them but i don't view them as being people, because they're not.
"the resin children" or "the resin folks" To my friends who know the characters they represent from my novels they are "the Divinity" since most of them are based on gods. XD
'My/the resin kids' is the most common term I use, though 'the gang' sometimes slips out when I'm not really thinking about it. I refer to them by individual names, mostly, but that's gradually becoming more and more time-consuming as the family continues to grow...
'My doll collection' or 'doll family', excitingly original, I know. Sometimes, also 'the resins', if I refer to them in writing.
