I use my Sony A7ii + Sony f1.8/85mm. In the future, I think about 50mm or less... I am still beginner. It's a process. Studying better photographers helps.
I have a Sony Alpha 58 with 18-200 mm lenses I bought it years ago and I'm still as happy as on the first day with it
Recently got a Nikon D3400 with 18-55mm and 70-300 kit lenses. I want to experiment a bit before getting a lens for my dolls specifically, but I think I will probably get a prime lens so I can photograph in low light. Just need to see what focal length I like best for that.
Been using Canon 70D for a few years now. Previously used a 18-55mm kit lens but switched to a 50mm f1.8 lens bout 2-3 years back.
I use a Sony Alpha 5100. The lens is 16-50 mm. Curious about other lenses but am still relatively new to pictures. All I know is that low aperture is my friend haha.
Fuji X-T3 now. I have a few lenses but I'm favoring my Kamlan 28mm f1.4. I have the mikaton speedmaster 35mm f 0.95 that I'm trying to master using - it has a super narrow focal range making it really tough for dolls.
I just bought a Canon EOS 90D (within the last few days actually). I've been wanting a DSLR for a long while (many years) and managed to finally save up a bit to buy one. I bought the body only, and then a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 on recommendation as my first lens.
I do think image composition is way more important than the camera used (at least in good lighting conditions). Currently I use a Nikon D810 I got second hand. As for lenses I love my super old 50mm f/1.8 (made before digital cameras were a thing) but I recently got a macro lens (60mm f/2.8) as a birthday gift.
I use an SLR, Samsung NX30. You don't need a crazy good camera to get nice photos of your dolls, nowadays even iPhone cameras work just as well with the 'bokeh' effect!
It's amazing how the convenience of the phone wins over a DSLR sometimes. I was so guilty of this for almost a year! The process of uploading them and editing, I was too lazy lol
I use Canon EOS 5D mark II. It's a little heavy when used for outdoor photos but absolutely worth it!
DoA doesn't have an upload feature. You can only link pictures from a photohosting/sharing site like Imgur and Flickr. You want to use the BBCode option when sharing pics on here so that the actual picture will show up in your post and not just a link.
I use a Nikon D7000 that I got secondhand. Supposedly it's a bit old, seems it was released in 2010? It's the first "proper" camera I ever used though, I got it a little while before I took a photography class, like four or so years ago. As for lenses, I don't really take note / remember which one I used for each specific picture. There's a few that I rotate through for different things, but my memory is mainly visual, so I tend to differentiate them as "the lens that has this shape/size and was good for xyz types of pictures" and not their actual names/specs. Here's a picture or two I've taken with it: I don't really feel like I'm getting the best results out of it because of lack of knowledge, but it's definitely leagues better than any photos taken with my cellphone camera.
According to Apple more images are captured with an iPhone than with all other image capture devices combined. Perusing the statistics on Flickr seems to support that statement. Personally I use a Nikon D750
Been using my Canon 800D with the 50 mm f/1.8 lens for a year now. (New wig and eyes are on the way for this boy)
Fuji XT-2 here. Love the smaller size. APS-C is more than adequate for hobbyist use, and the JPG colours for Fuji film recipes look gorgeous.
Canon 5D mkIII (preowned) and either my Canon 50mm lens or my old, no longer autofocusing Sigma 105mm macro. The latter is now a pain to use as my close up vision has gone to poop due to my age, really need to get another better macro lens.
I got my very first camera this summer. It's Cannon T7. I mostly use 50mm lens. It's good entry level DSLR camera with lower price. I used to spend a loootttt of time on editing crappy photos on iPhone 10. (Which does even worse job than iPhone 8)
I've owned a Nikon D32000 for close to a decade and to this day I haven't found another camera with a better price to sensor ratio. It struggles with color accuracy but being able to shoot in RAW means I can fix it in post.
i personally use a kodak easyshare c743. it's super outdated, but i love the nostalgia of digi cams and the cute little shutter noises they make when you snap a pic. it also gives a pretty dream-like look due to its age!
I have had my Canon Rebel T6 since 2018 and mostly use a 50mm lens. Photos come out super clear and bokeh is nice~
