Special Event Welcome to the Den of Angels 13th Anniversary Celebration!

Salutations on the anniversary of 13 years being this super awesome forum! You've helped me and I know other doll owners too! I have always had good luck on the 13th of the month so a big thumbs up to 13!

 

This will make the 8th anniversary I've been around for, and I only started trying to actively participate last year!
I always look forward to this time, since a lot of the lurkers come out to play. And I get to see everyone's creativity.

Crazy how time flies! Happy birthday DoA! Thanks for being a great resource to the hobby that keeps me sane. I think. I guess that's debatable.

 

I've been here since 2014 but this is the first time I've caught a celebration! I only had one or two dolls a year or so ago but now I'm up to 8 and growing!

 

wow 13 years ! congrats to everyone for supporting and loving the community for so long here's to another great 13 !

 

I'm a real newbie and have only known you for a few weeks now but so far I feel VERY lucky to be here and hope your next 13 years are filled with much kindness, laughter, sharing and true joy in collecting.

I'm one of the originals who remember the Yahoo Groups days. Buying a doll was a treasure hunt, with third parties and bank transfers.
Wow, times sure have changed.

I remember one of the first bjd videos I watched on Youtube was rikkistar talking about her DoA triathalon entry. Don't know if I'll have time to join, but I might try for fun.

 

13 is definitely a significant number. Prime number, Fibonacci number, first of the teens, year of a Bat Mitzvah, lucky to fare tredici (Italian), and lots of other things. Personally, I don't think it's lucky or unlucky. I do think it's a pretty cool number, though, because of all the meanings it has for people.

Happy 13th anniversary! Thirteen was my lucky number it seems. I won a bjd contest a few years back with number thirteen

 

Hee! Wow 13 years already.

I've always viewed 13 favourably... Though it may be related to the fact that most of the hotels I've stayed in have skipped the 4th floor, not the 13th.

(In Chinese, the word for Four sounds like the word for death for - those who didn't know why it's considered unlucky.)

13 years? Wow, it must have taken great effort to keep a community going for so long, and with such positive attitudes among the members! I joined DoA only around a year or two, and now a little less newbie. I have learned much and met some new friends through DoA. So I don't know if number 13 is lucky or not, but I know that I'm really lucky to be here. Time to celebrate! Happy birthday!

Happy birthday, DOA! Wow, time flies. August is my 12th anniversary of being a member here and September 6th will be my first doll's 12th birthday. Can't believe I joined that long ago! Very special. :')

 

I just got right on time (Slightly new). Number 13 is such a lucky number for me, same as black cats ... Hope to be able to post some new beauties in my store or maybe just make something for my girls to celebrate that this lovely community exists.

I kind of like the number 13. I think I've gotten used to paying more attention to it because my birthday is on the 13th of a month, though. I've only been on Den of Angels for a couple of years, but it's been great and I've gotten so much help from the kind people here. Happy 13th, DoA!

Wow to think that its been a whole year since i joined and got my first doll this is amazing!
