Thank you so much! I enjoyed doing this project. It took two years to plan, almost two hours to build the set. My friends were involved.

Thank you all so much! It was a real challenge to prepare and photograph this project and it was very hot the day it happened, which may have contributed to me not noticing some small mistakes. But we were lucky, however, as the next day was very windy and the previous days were rainy.

There will be a sequel of photos (from the reception and the wedding ceremony) to follow by the end of this week. Thank you all for your kind words.

 

Part II

I apologize for the high contrast of the photos, but the light was very hard and it was impossible to wait for the evening because there were a lot of extreme soccer fans running around and there was a real fear that our dolls would not survive.

Thank you for your kind words! There were mistakes, but it was such a huge project with so many parts and built in hot weather that we did the best we could under the circumstances. I couldn't have done a lot of things without my family and friends. What I see as very positive is that participating in this project has raised the community spirit of the Czech BJD group. I am very happy for that sharing. Because each member of this community has his/her unique gifts.

Thanks a lot! It was a great reunion and it made me so happy that we were able to work together so well. I think I'm lucky to have friends. I'm trying to make our BJD community more active and I'm happy when it works.

I will be very much looking forward to the photos if you decide to go into a similar project! This one was very challenging and it wouldn't have looked so nice without the cooperation of friends. It always depends on how much realistic detail you want to give it. How much time preparing. It's incredibly variable. I'm the type of person who can make things complicated, even if it's a hobby. A lot of stress would go away if I didn't want everything to be like in real life.

Yes, that cake was totally and completely real. And the taste was excellent! My friend is very talented. I was so excited about the beautiful decoration and blue stripes because the whole wedding was blue and white.
We could have put more flowers on the table or re-posed the dolls more often, but despite the forecast, the weather was extremely hot and we were so tired...

These photos are the result of two years of planning, two months of prop making, and two hours of setting up the set. Posing the dolls was challenging, but in a larger group of collectors it was fun.

But I never want to do such a big photo project again. It was a bit stressful.
