Websites for Image hosting

    1. Hello all,

It seems photobucket is being really strict and removing images in my albums if there is any doll nudity. I was wondering what you were all using and if anyone else has had these issues. I figured dolls would be okay because it is more art than anything. Just feel frustrated that they keep taking down photos and breaking links.

    2. Give a try on Flickr, lots of space and you won't have problems with nudity.

    3. i use flickr for large sets and imgur for "here look at this picture i took"

    4. I have never had any problems with Flickr. Maybe give them a try.

    5. I love Flickr as well, I switched switched from Photobucket a couple years ago and it's much more user friendly in my opinion!

    6. I also use Flickr and have good results

    7. Glad I saw this thread. I have been using photobucket and get so frustrated with it. I have a Flickr account but haven't done much with it. I think moving forward I will give it a try.

    8. Photobucket has become basically unusable nowadays with all the adverts and glitches, which is a shame. I left flickr after yahoo ruined it but maybe I should go back. I wish there were a third option.

    9. I use Google drive for free but you can pay for it and get a lot more storage.

    10. I prefer Imgur, personally, because of the big image size!

    11. Flickr is pretty great storage-wise, my only complaint is that you have to really work for a direct image file URL to your own photos (this tutorial details the process). Imgur is pretty bare-bones, but super easy to use.

    12. to mimic everyone, I also use Flickr. I started to use it because my IOS allows me to upload directly to flickr and has for years. I also have a private domain that I upload things to, but those are normally only business related. A lot of my friends use their private domains for their own hosting.

    13. It works! Thanks everyone!

    16. For me Flickr doesn't work; the only reason I'd use it is to be able to post pictures here, but in the past when I've linked pics from Flickr the image didn't show up, just the link. And if no one can see the picture without having to leave the site, then I feel like I'm not going to get as much feedback. (Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong but it shouldn't be that hard anyway.)
Instead I post pics on DeviantArt, usually in my scraps folder. If you have a core membership you can post multiple pics at once. I haven't had core for a while but I still use it. There isn't any limit to the amount of pictures you post, and if you want, there's even a BJD category to post in.

    17. I really like Flickr, but I already have an account for other images. Same for Deviantart. I mostly post stuff to Instagram, but I really think of making an other Flickr account just for dolls - when I finally have enough finished dolls :)

    18. If I want it to be high quality I probably use google photos, but if its just to show people to ask for help than I upload on a locked tumblr account that I made just for that

    19. I greatly prefer Imgur to any other photo host. I find it extremely user friendly and have never had any issues with it. Another thing I like is that the direct URLs are pretty short. Flickr is alright, I made an account to share my doll photos. I haven't used it much, I still like Imgur better.

    20. I've been having trouble in the past few weeks uploading things onto Flickr. The uploading progress bar will stay up for minutes before saying it can't upload my pictures. I tried different web browsers, and I'm lucky if one image uploads. Has this been happening to anyone else?
