Volks Waiting Room v3!

Thank you! I can't wait to have her. I'm kinda hoping her and my Sakuya both pop up on the same day. That'd be a extra nice treat!

I hope so~ President's Day slows everything down x.x USPS is pretty good at finding and moving packages to where they need to go though, so I'm sure she'll manage her way to you quickly. At least they still technically work even when it's things like this. xD The lack of update would drive me crazy too though..x.x

 

Having multiple dolls arrive on the same day is a great day indeed! I hope that happens for you!

My tracking updated on 2/20 but so far it's still at 'Origin Post is Preparing Shipment', but at least things are happening! I was really hoping to have her by tomorrow but it looks like that's not happening. Ah well!

To edit what I said earlier, the tracking updated again and she's in Customs in New York! That's exciting. I've never had anything enter through that way before--always San Francisco, and just recently, Miami.

 

I hope so! Saber Lily got shipped today, but she's coming from Hawaii. Sakuya should be shipped any day and she's within the state...so she should take like 2 days. The chances are super high! :3 It's too bad though that Lily's tracking has decided it doesn't feel like working at all. .___.'' Well...as long as she gets her safe and sound! ^^''

At least it's working! I hope she gets to you soon. It seems that the tracking service has been a little slow. Maybe she'll surprise you? :3

 

Aww! I wouldn't worry about her tracking! It took about two and a half/three days for my tracking to begin working (but only because it hit over the weekend), but it usually works by the next day if it's a weekday. That's exciting that there's a possibility you'll get them on the same day!

My tracking updated again and she's in New York right now! If she's as fast now as her body was, I should expect her Friday or Saturday. Yay! So close now.

 

Well, apparently within Hawaii it can be really common for them to simply not activate the tracking number. Seeing as it still hasn't worked I've pretty much come to the conclusion she'll just pop up when she wants. xD I hope Friday or Saturday. I'll be home and waiting then!
I got a surprise though! The day I got a shipping notice for my Sakuya...she arrived. Literally, like, 30 minutes after I got the message. She won't get a proper box opening now till I have her all finished.

Yay! I hope she arrives on Friday for you. It'd be great to have her all completed. :3

I think my girl will show up either Saturday or Monday. She just left customs today but she'll get to me fairly quickly. I can be patient for a few more days, I suppose.

 

Wow it's already nearing the end of February. Can't believe time goes so fast since I've order Saber Alter. I'll be so excited when I recieve my shipping notice from Volks.

 

Saber Lily is in my town! :O Her tracking literally has not updated till now! O.o Well yay for my postal people actually activating the tracking!

Thank you~ I got contact already from the face-up artist so I can expect to be able to ship her off soon! >w< I am really excited because I'll be getting her body really soon too!

I hope she does arrive today, that'd be awfully nice, but patience is good! :3 It'll be worth it either way, and this Monday isn't a holiday!

@Gunter von Christ: I am with the second batch of International orders. I hope she will arrive before I leave to the USA for 6 weeks in July @___@. Dutch customs have a hand in keeping my packages up to 3 weeks before even sending my a note about it <__<. I dont want my parents to have to deal with the payment for the custom fees, because I know this one will be fully billed xD.

Oh, I'm sure she'll be home before then! We in the USA won't be seeing the first round coming in till late April/early May most likely! (That's the batch I'm in) and it'd be quite impressive if they managed to push all the way to July! Ouch. x.x Yeah, I don't see Volks lying about the value...x.x That's gonna hurt!

My saber isn't going to stay saber. She's going to be my Chiharu's army brat wifu. So I'll eventually need to make her army print cargo pants, a tank top and get her combat boots. Also a barret cuz she'll be Canadian armed forces of course. OH and dog tags. XD It was that neat and tidy hair that made me thing army. She doesn't have a name yet. But I'll think of one eventually.

 

The SDGr nono i won from the dolpa arrived just now~
Omg i didnt realize she was going to be so big! I guess its just been a while xD

I havent bought anything for her yet,
luckily i had a pair of pants and a shirt left over from my last sd boy (yugiri) which somewhat fit xD

She came with a whole nother set of legs,
i guess those are for her flat feet since she came with high heeled attached?
I thought they would just be calf part tho not whole new thighs too xD lol.

Her head is going to someone else tho so i didnt take the protector off in the very few photos i took.
aswell as the clothes. They came with cute pink panties which i didnt know!
I wonder if i can find someone selling those lol

Partly expense, and partly because it's not quite right for my current needs. The head was a bit of a sudden decision when I realized I did have a character it would work very well for . I haven't decided what body he'll end up on but it'll be tall and fairly skinny.

 

I'm currently not waiting for any Volks doll but I have my eyes set on one!

I want to get him soooo bad! every time I see him I get this feeling I only got with my first 2 dolls, that feeling that tells me "this doll is meant to be yours!" I hope I can be here one day writing about how excited I am waiting for my boy =( I can't get him right now because he is almost $2000...why are Volks so expensive? and where do people get them (I'm getting him second hand or ...hope to get him) I never see nothing good on the Volks USA website and yet people always come up with Volks dolls I have never seen before on their website...

I probably should have join this earlier but I ordered an SD Megu. She's not my first Volks doll but she'll be my first direct from the company. :3 I ordered her on the 2nd and she's supposed to be delivered today. I'm more anxious to get her than I have for any other doll. I'm really glad she was in stock, I hate having to wait for dolls to be made. xD

Congrats for those waiting on the lottery dolls. I'll be looking forward to seeing them. :3

Well after a couple of years thinking my BJD bunch was complete...Ha!...here I am again, waiting for not one, but two Volks dolls! Gulp! I'm over the moon about Yukinojo being re-released, and have mine pre-ordered! Mere hours later, another one of the dolls on my Wishlist showed up here in the Marketplace. So even though I'd sworn off buying Volks on the secondary market, I couldn't resist finally getting the sleeping version of my beloved YoSD White Rabbit! When I saw him online during the pre-order period, I thought both versions were cute. But when I got a close look at them during the last NYC Dolpa, I really wanted one of each, but limited finances forced me to choose. Like the original SD16 Yukinojo, Sweet Dreams White Rabbit stayed on my mind, so here I am...again!

Hey Yumi--It can be a challenge saving up for the Volks doll you want, but in my opinion they're worth it. We all have different tastes, & differing thoughts on what defines a "good" doll. But more and more Volks seems to be realizing that many customers like pre-orders. So don't lose hope that one day a limited Volks doll you want will be a simple click away on Volks USA or Volks International. Good luck!

Congrats, topazrain! In stock is such a nice thing. I started this hobby in Japan so my first three were bought right from stores. I had to get used to waiting!

yumi~ keep an eye on the News section. Volks LEs come out at Dolpas and other events. Volks fans pay close attention to news about each and every Volks event to find out what is coming out. VolksUSA lists LEs in their blog and often offers them through lotteries, etc.

 

Which doll are you looking for??

When you can buy the dolls from Volks direct, they are not $2000.00

After market price can be high on some but if you are patient and spend time to search, it is possible to find good deal

My Friend and I have found One Off dolls for less than their original on Ebay and YJ before.
You just need to look more and have enough save up so when you come across a good deal you can buy it right the way

This has been a crazy doll year. I usually feel relief when Volks has a Dolpa and there's nothing I am dying to own in it.

Definitely no more DDs till my new girls show up. DDs are much easier for me to buy than resin, I think they are all so lovely. Resin is divine in it's own right but since it is more expensive (usually) it's a little easier to stay away from! Then Jun showed up on a SDGr body and I was doomed.

Oh well.

At least I will be in good company with all of yous guys.

I'm hopping in, I ordered Yukinojo from Kerbey Lane on May 4. I hope that we don't have to wait much longer than the people who ordered from Volks USA. I am so excited for Joe, He is going to be awesome!

 

I am waiting for Saber Alter, Saber Extra, Lucy, Rise, Sasara, Yukinojo, Shirou....OMG! No wonder I am BROKE!!!!

 

Hahahahaha... XD I'm waiting for my Mariko sensei as well... So that's make 3 Volks dolls for me. And... 7 for you... I should have just robbed you. XD

I want to get Volks SD13 Kujoo Kazuya he's just the type of doll I would love to have because of that cute smile and big eyes I found him on ebay only for $1800 ~__~ and I don't understand YJ, I made an account and all but I'm afraid to bid on something because the people only speak Japanese and I like to have good communication with the seller x__X I'm saving for him and I believe that if he's still on ebay by the time I get the money then he's meant to be mine ........or I will have to learn how to navigate in YJ XD

They've announced Joe start showing up for Japanese customers in June, but the boat ride over to Volks USA takes a couple of months.

I've just got the deposit from a buyer for a doll I was selling, so I thought I'd put my order in.
Get to the last page and my card got declined?! All it said was to "Contact Industry" or along those lines
Best get onto the bank tomorrow and ask them why.

Just won a Shiro from the AE international lottery (first one I've entered ) and just paid so now I'm officially waiting for this lovely boy He'll keep my Williams good company, and join my growing number of tan dolls (which I've somehow acquired despite myself; I swore I wouldn't get any more, but then Shiro...).

 

I'm waiting for a kit Mika that I bought on Sunday night. She should be here by Friday.
Last night I had fun going through my wig and clothing boxes finding exactly the right things for her. I haven't been this excited for a while.

 

Yay, I love the Mika kit! There is something so satisfying putting a doll together. I just put an MSD Yui on layaway so I'm adding another doll to the wait! Yukinojo and Yui!

 

About time I jumped onto this wagon I was also lucky enough to win Shiro in the AE for international, so I'm joining the wait! I've never ordered from Volks before but I'm beyond excited for this boy. I haven't been this excited since I put my Okita together, must be something about Volks haha..

Is Shiro supposed to ship soon or later? I feel like I read something about when they ship, but I can't recall exactly.. >.>

 

I won Shiro in the AE, and today I got the shipping confirmation
He shipped much sooner than I thought - Volks told me that they were a bit behind in shipping him but I think less than a week from when I payed is very fast

I'm also waiting for a SD16 Ruby on layaway! The layaway ends in August so hopefully I'll see her soon also

I'm buying my "second hand" so I don't get any updates from Volks etc. I just poke the guy all "Is she here yet? Is she here yet? When? When? When?

 

It depends on which shipment shes in. If she is in first shipment and didnt do down payment then she is here. If she is first shipment and they did the downpayment then there still soarting them out. If they are in second shipment, they havent been shipped yet to the store, so you will be waiting til like august or september.

 

I believe there was a down payment. I am really hoping for first shipment than. XD SO do not want to wait until September. @_@
