I suppose I will join in here as well! I'm waiting on Lieselotte, and I'm so excited. I already bought her some clothes and shoes, I'm debating what I'll do for a wig and eyes though. I do love her actual wig, but I'm also kind of keen to leave her things in packaging...

Also does anyone know when the clothing lottery results will come out? I tried for that as well but it won't even let me look at my order number?

I started with just boys but ended up really loving the big girls. I hope Lieselotte is the one for you, eleniel!

Allegra, I’m having that struggle, too. I love her look but also would love to keep things in packaging. I think the paper that will come with her will have an option for an extra wig, which I may go for. Love that you've already been shopping for her! I’m sure I’ll start doing that pretty soon, too (once my bank account loves me again).

My little YoSD is running late. Went to bed last night expecting her to be delivered today, only to see tracking updated to say it wasn’t the case. Hopefully tomorrow...

 

@Aiko-chan Yes I also purchased from VolksUSA! Hoping she arrives sooner than they are quoting but I know that's a long shot.

Glad that I'm not the only one debating not opening her actual things! I did consider the spare wig on the form like you mentioned, and even the hands, but the hands are so expensive. My poor wallet won't be too happy with me if I buy too much stuff for her either, haha... At least you are giving yours a chance to recover.

I do wonder how many orders they will have by the end of the period.

I just ordered Lucia too right before the order period closed on the 4th. Step be my first volks, so I'm excited to see what the OG bjd company is like! Btw I thought they were says to be shipping out winter 2021 rather than fall?

 

@bahboh If you look at her pre-order page (SDGr女の子 ルチア アンティークスタイリスト Ver.) you can see that Volks plans to ship her out in fall 2021. But tbh I'm not expecting to receive my SDGr Lucia until Christmas Volks must have gotten so many orders for these three resin girls so I think that winter 2021 is more realistic.
- Or did you read somewhere that Volks announced shipment for winter?

 

Ooohh. I see! I ordered from the volksusa store and they had a different delivery time, but it makes sense since they have to receive it from Japan first. Lol I personally was setting myself with lower expectations thinking I won't receive her until like early 2022 esp since I ordered closer to the last day.

I'm so happy to be part of this group, I'm waiting for 3 volks dolls I was absent from the hobby for many years and I only had 1 volks doll all my life but now that I'm back I felt greedy and in love with all volks dolls. I'm waiting for volks lieselotte and 2 Volks f81. Oh! and probably the kujo doll if the seller accepts my offer because he is so expensive >·<

Hello everyone! I'm currently waiting on an SD13 F42 Elena but I wanted to get her a wig ahead of time (while the one she'll come with is lovely, it doesn't suit the image in my head). Can anyone help me with the wig measurements in cm for her? I'd like the measurements specifically in case I like a wig that's made with hard cap, like an alpaca wig for example...

 

Just popping in. Still waiting on SDGr Lucia from the preorder and just placed my first online FCS order with Volks USA for an amber SD16 F-72 with Vivid makeup.

 

I'm still waiting for my previous FCS order and Snow Miku. They contacted me and said they messed up my order... That was 2 weeks ago!

They told me the same thing but my dolls shipped almost exactly two weeks later, so you should get them soon I hope!

My tan F-40 girl from the April FCS order came yesterday and she’s absolutely adorable. The Zoukeimura eyes are lovely but I’m considering swapping them for a smaller size.

 

My shipping says 3 more days... And a another tracking number from them got deleted. So I'm wondering if they combined my FCS and Miku into one?

 

Waiting on my FCS SDM f-45 in pure white! I plan on making her character a vampire, so I got the cute little bat girl outfit and bag off of volks jp for her! I haven't decided on a wig quite yet, but she won't be here until November, so I got LOTS of time

 

The tan is such a lovely skin tone! If I ever get another FCS (who am I kidding, I'll get another one LOL), I will totally get tan!

Looks like Lucia will start shipping late October and Charlotte/Lieselotte will start shipping early December for people who ordered internationally through Volks Int. Lucia must not have gotten as many orders!

I was hoping to get mine before the end of 2021 but it doesn't seem likely for VolksUSA! No updates for them specifically yet.

 

I wonder how many orders they got for each. If Lieselotte will be shipped mid November she might arrive right on time for my birthday!

 

Hmm... I'm still waiting for my Lieselotte through VolksUSA as well as Snow Miku 2021.

 

shaping up to be a very very long wait for Lieselotte, although it's basically what people expected. Would like to think she'll arrive before January though..

Just ordered my first new Volks doll and she's my first DD and she's one of the DDP dolls! Yippee !!!!!!

I can't remember, were Lieselotte and Charlotte to ship in December, or January?

 

If you ordered two dolls they'll ship late January 2022. All of the dolls are shipping sequentially and Lieselotte and Charlotte are listed in the update email as late January 2022. Lucia is starting in December though, maybe people will receive her soon.

Just got my tracking number for Lucia from volksusa ordered may 4th 21

 

I'm glad to hear Lucia is finally shipping! Seems like their last estimate of late December didn't work out after all. I'm starting to feel like late January for Lieselotte/Charlotte is too hopeful of an estimate at this point. Maybe I'll just start crossing my fingers for mid February.

Either way, I'm never doing a preorder like this again. This wait has been way too long for me.

 

Just saw someone on IG pick up their Lieselotte from Volks today. Hope springs eternal!

 

I don't know if anyone else has but I got my shipping notice for Lieselotte today! So excited.

 

I got my tracking number! She hasn't been picked up by UPS so I won't call her shipped yet. I was just sure they were going to get a shipment of all the Lucia first and then a second shipment of the rest of the girls later, but I'm very pleased it turned out this way. It doesn't even feel like its actually happening
