Volks Waiting Room v3!

My 9S shipped!

 

I don't know whether it is a right place or not. Just received volks DDS Kanzaki Ranko yesterday but noticed a defect on her umbrella... sadly.

Spoiler: Situation Detail

I went to volks shop in akihabara this morning and they said that the inspection (even the head of my umbrella is clearly BEND!) would take about 3 week... and yep if they just state that it's not a defect then it's not a defect... (Ok, I'm done = =; )

Since I have roughly 3 weeks to wait I guess this is the place, but if there's some where else that I should go please kindly notice me. Thank you for a rumbling place.

I got my umbrella back yesterday and yep nothing change //sigh.
I'll deal with it some way I think.

 

I'm going crazy. I'm going out of the state at the end of the month, so I asked Volks USA to delay my shipment. But now I'm wondering if it would have arrived safely before I left, after reading everyone getting shipping notifications.

 

I ordered a SDM Noa today! (4/22/20 because it’s technically the 23rd atm lol)
She was in stock on the VolksUSA store website so i’m hoping she ships soon!

 

Finally able to get one of my grail dolls today! SD17 Williams!!! Jumped on that preorder so fast I can’t wait till he gets here. He would be my second grail I was able to afford this year

 

Well, I'd just ordered a MSD Maggie from Mandarake, if odds are on my side, they will confirm soon and I will wait patiently until she comes to me... There are severe delays in shipping to my country, but I couldn't resist her lovely smile

Only thing though his condition is pretty bad - thinking of sending him to sato but not sure how it works? I will be getting a Japanese friend to help, but it looks like part of the head plate has rubbed off… Really worried that they might reject it ): pretty sure he is authentic though, since he comes with his original box and papers…

I keep telling myself any day now but waiting for 2B is becoming agonising everyone. After waiting so long since the pre-order I started to get excited when i got a shipping notice on May 29th and she arrived in Canada on June 29th. I keep checking Canada Post tracking but there is never any updates beyond always saying expected delivery 1-12 business days. I know things are backed up for delivery everywhere but she could also be so near. Oh 2B where are you?

I ordered a full choice SD13 girl back in August and I can't wait to get her

 

So... i was wondering if it's ok to join this waiting room if i ordered tan MDD DCH-21 through Japan Doll Direct proxy, but i think it's ok since i see Mandarake is allowed here. If not, tell me you're kicking me out xD
Anyway, it was so hard to resist the new DCH-21 face (+ the cute little elf ears) that i just had to order Even if i had to do a little layaway. They already bought her, now i just need to pay the rest and i can get her home~! I can't waaait~

I never thought that I would enter the waiting room again this year... But here I am waiting for my first Yo-SD, Megu and Komame Kyoto version.

 

I haven’t ordered from Volks International in awhile, does anyone know how long it has been taking them to ship in stock items?

Just bought a Ryo Asuka off of mandrake (I know they’re in stock on the volks website but this one was legit and only missing one piece of the full set for several hundred less) don’t know when he’ll arrive though bc Japan has shut down most forms of shipping leaving dhl as the only option... which is both unreliable and... expensive...

He’ll be my first volks doll and my second resin doll. I love Devilman and ryo particularly so I’m super pumped!

 

My mom had her doll, not Volks and from AliceCollections, sent DHL. It arrived in a week, I actually got the shipping number from Alice after it arrived!

 

I think I bought too many dolls this last two months. I am waiting for SD Megu, yoSD Megohime, Kaelin, yosd Isao Nanou, sdm Gilbert and Eric.... OTL

 

I'm waiting for my sdc Gretel to come back from her re-faceup service of Volks. (Sent her at november 14th)

I'm currently waiting for a DDH-09..she's at faceup artist ShiNe's Workshop it'll be quite a while I think until I see her, but I'm looking forward to it!

Waiting on a Michelle and Theodore form the Interstellar School Dormitory from Volks International. Still can't believe I won Michelle through the online Lottery had him on my wish list for a long time

 

I won a Lina Inverse from that lottery. I just wish the shipping dates were more specific than “end of February to end of March”!

 

Congrats on winning Lina =D I've also been keeping my eye open for any sort of update via email or on the website, I'm really excited for them arriving and want to make sure they arrive safely. I'm not really sure how long Volks usually take to dispatch as it's the first time I've ever ordered from them.

 

If it’s something in stock they’re pretty quick from VolksUSA, well usually. The mail system has been borked the last year. It used to be a week or so for me to get stuff from them. Now? I had a package take three weeks for the same distance after getting out of customs.

 

I know this is a short wait but I finally have my Nico on the way to me and I'm so excited! I've been wanting her since she came out.

Ordered a DDP Coron yesterday and I'm unbelievably excited, I've been wanting a dollfie dream for over 6 years!

 

Full option system just opened not even an hour ago and I already placed an order for an SD13! This is going to be so exciting! I'm planning to customize her into Sakura Kinomoto! I'm going to be handmaking the wig and clothing myself! I may need to make her eyes too as Volks options for green eyes was lacking.

 

I did receive my yo sd Mai and Mel on Monday but I still waiting on Amabie.

 

I ordered two SDMs off the Online FCS and I am so obnoxiously excited, the 10+ week waiting period is going to be torture. (I got an F-40 tan suwarikko girl and an F-33 white long-leg girl with boy makeup.)

I’m old enough to remember when the LA Sumika opened and the ability to order FCS online just blows my mind. I couldn’t afford FCS when I was a college student in Japan and I was never going to get to LA, so I’m genuinely delighted to have the opportunity to order precisely what I want. (I wish they had a different or wider selection of head molds, but it seems churlish to complain under the circumstances!)

 

I've put in my pre-order for an SDGr Lucia and I'm so excited! I've been looking at her sculpt since her initial release in 2018 but really didn't want to pay her aftermarket price. So I'm glad that I can pre-order her now
Volks says that they'll ship her out in fall 2021 but tbh I'm prepared to receive her around Christmas.

 

Congrats @Ayanami ! Being able to buy her direct is so nice, the aftermarket can be a real downer.

I ordered a Lieselotte from the same preorder, though mine is from VolksUSA. It’ll be winter before she arrives but I’m so darn excited! I haven’t ordered a new doll in over 14 years!

In the meantime, I have a YoSD Rengemaru coming home soon that I’ll be making into a cute lil adventure gal. Gotta get back into doing small faceups again.
