Volks Tenshi-no-Sumika Fair & Standard Model Fair

I think I might cave and order Mire after all. ^__^

 

I have the '08 Yori, my first SD! At first I didn't like her at all, was going to get a Kun or Elena, but she grew on me and became my first The new make-up is pretty, but she looks kinda sad to me in those pics...lol I swapped out my Yori's (Yukari's) eyes & wig, she looks SO pretty
I want one of those pre assembled minis!!!!XD but my SDGr boy is coming today.... zero cash lol:P

 

I very happy when I knew that they'll add SDgr body into FCS list!!
But I also very sad when I knew some of standard model won't continue anymore

 

What bothers me about the discontinued heads is the only standard Volks doll left that has blond hair is Myu. Why the heck is that? And why discontinue Sara cause she shares the same wig as Nono? The same thing with getting rid of Maggie. Not fair with picking on the blond choices for standards at all.

 

I don't think that is really a consideration considering it is the easiest thing to change a wig.

 

Nono AND Ryo getting the axe at the same time?! Volks that is too cruel! D: I can't afford EITHER of them at this time, let alone the both of them! Color me very displeased. (perhaps I can convince the hubby that I need a very expensive wedding gift... lol)

Why would they say Nono is so popular when she's not? Or have they decided her popularity will translate to $$$$ by making her FCS only?

 

now i have to get a nono before they discountinue her....... those msd are super cute..... must have them

 

I am also really curious about this! Maybe she's still very popular as FCS and not as popular as a standard anymore? It's odd!

 

Nono is apparently much more popular in Japan than she appears to be in the western market. In the 10th Anniversary story on superdollfie.net, it is stated that Nono is the best-selling SD ever released:

 

Yeah, that's what I keep reading from Volks. :/ I'm very confused as to why they would discontinue her as a standard. I guess it's finally time to cave and buy the girl.

 

It looks like they are starting to ship out the pre-assembled and made-up Mire and Yuuto dolls this week. I just got my shipping confirmation for Mire.
